Hello,

A very nice theme. I am interested in buying the same but just want to ask can this theme be for music, video, and links too? Or just for pictures?

Please let me know. Thank you

Hi There,

Thanks for your interest and nice words!
As you can see from the demos, in the home pages are displayed only pictures, in the single articles you can add anything you want.

What if someone adds a video or a song will that be shown in the home page?

Will not be shown in the homepage as you can see from the demo, please take a look at the demo, you’ll see articles that have videos/galleries etc, in the home page will be displayed simple articles with featured image or without featured image if the article has a video / gallery.

The same answer goes for “Pin” too, because you’ve asked the same question.

Cheers :)

Hello

What are differences between 1Page and foot? Which one is better at ads management such as Google Adsense. Can I add ad blocks on grid homepage?

Thanks

Hi There,

Thanks for your interest!
Bot themes are different design / concepts, etc. As you can see from the demo, “Foot” doesn’t have an option to display AD blocks in the grid / masonry home page, maybe my other theme “Pin” will be the best choice for you.

Hello,

I really like the theme, however i would like to know is their way for users to login (signup) before submitting content. Because for frequent users who submit content they may want to manage articles.

Please let me know.

Hi There,

Thanks for purching my theme!
The plugin I’m using doesn’t have that option, unfortunately.

The point of register/login is if you want to add a forum like bbPress, etc, so obviously is optional.

Or, you can use the register/login option and from Settings > General > New User Default Role, select “Contributor” and the new users will be able to add an article via WordPress Editor, submissions automatically create a post in “pending” you can select “Publish / Pending or DrafT” status so that administrators can review the item before it appears on the site.

If you have any concern with the theme, please submit a ticket so I can further assist you! = Foot Support is offered only via email.

I really appreciate the support, so thank you! If you like my work, don’t hesitate to follow me: http://themeforest.net/user/An-Themes/follow for more Blog / Magazine Themes!

Another important thing, if you purchased my theme, go to your Download Page click the “Download” button and select “All Files & Documentation”, and please read the Documentation for a properly configuration of the theme, demo content, plugins, etc.

Hi there,

nice design in your latest themes!

I am interested in either the Foot or Pin theme of yours, a few questions if I may:

1. I am having difficulty deciding which of the 2 themes would be better for me. It seems the Pin theme is a subset of the Foot theme, the latter seems to support more styles and more options. Or will those styles (magazine etc) also come to the Pin theme?

2. Will I be able to show ads in between posts like in the Pin theme?

3. Can you please give me a link to the documentation of the Pin and Foot theme? I find it hard enough to decide on themes without trying them first (thats why up2now I only used free themes from wordpress.org) but I would definitely never buy a theme without being able to reading the full documentation first.

4. In the Pin theme I saw one post in the grid that had a yellowish background color. Does that mean I can set individual background colors for posts or at least by category? That would be awesome!

5. Can I use wp gallery or flickr or instagram pictures in the slider on the homepage or does it have to be posts? I would actually like to use pictures there instead of posts.

I may have more questions once I read the documentation but thats it for now,

thanks in advance, Alex

Hi There,

Thanks for your interest and nice words!
  1. “Foot” was created after the “Pin” and in terms of functionality / design, both are different. Unfortunately the style you see in “Foot” doesn’t come with Pin.
  2. Not at the moment, maybe when the Pinterest style will be added.
  3. You’ll be able to see the Documentation after you purchase the theme, I don’t offered it online or for free.
  4. That’s a “Sticky” article.
  5. In the slider will be displayed only the “Featured Articles”, yes, only articles will be displayed.

Also, Please, if you have further questions, about a different theme, like “Pin”, “The Frog” etc, add them in the comments section of that item, thank you.

Cheers :)

Ok, bye bye then ;)

Hi,

demo site is down! Could you pls check

Hi There,

Thanks for let me know about this, I really appreciate it, so thank you! Site / demo is back again, thank you.

Cheers :)

Is there a demo login that I can use to see how it the theme works prior to purchase? Do users have to re-enter email each time they post even if they are already registered with site? If so, what is the purpose of the register feature?

Hi There,

Thanks for your interest!
  1. Unfortunately no.
  2. The point of register/login is if you want to add a forum like bbPress, etc, so obviously is optional.
  4. More info about the plugin here.

Hello. You can add the following plugin somewhere in the home site? For example following the post? http://codecanyon.net/item/flowflow-social-streams-for-wordpress/9319434 Thank you.

Hi There,

Thanks for your interest!
Maybe, if this will be a common request of our customers, unfortunately at this moment I can’t promise.

Hi, 2 presales questions please:

1. Any plans to offer a banner system in between posts (homepage, category page)? specially for the pinterest style theme

2- Is there any ease way to create bookmarking button in the post excerpt (homepage, category page)? I would like to use this plugin for bookmarking but I would need the a way that my readers can bookmark their own post from home page for example:

http://codecanyon.net/item/wordpress-user-bookmarks-for-userpro/6455170

thanks in advance!

Hi There,

1. Yes, I have plans for it, will be something in the future updates.
2. That’s an addon for the plugin “user pro”, that plugin works with my theme. Unfortunately at this moment, I don’t have plans to integrate the plugin with my theme, so, in other words, will work as you can see it from the plugin demo.

Also, customers are welcome to use any 3rd party plugin they wish, however compatibility and support are the responsibility of each customer unless the plugin is integrated into the theme in some way.

Cheers :)

a suggestion: maybe you set the login information so, that it will be output as placeholder while submiting a post. so that registered users don’t need to type their name, email etc. everytime they want to make a post, new.

also it would be nice if registered users could have a overview (in there dashboard) about there postings (lifetime!)

maybe users will also get badges for spezific actions like having many likes/vote ups …!?

thanks

at all a very nice theme

Hi There,

Thanks for your interest / suggestions!
  1. Yes, will be nice, unfortunately the plugin does not have that option.
  2. You can use the register/login option and from Settings > General > New User Default Role, select “Contributor” and the new users will be able to add an article via WordPress Editor, submissions automatically create a post in “pending” you can select “Publish / Pending or DrafT” status so that administrators can review the item before it appears on the site. Also, the user will have the articles added so they will be able to edit / delete etc, this is a default WordPress function.
  3. That looks more like a community, there is a premium plugin that will give you those options and more: “UserPro”.

Hi There,

Yes, that’s an option of the plugin, go to Dashboard > Settings > Ajax Login and you’ll see the Settings for the Facebook.

Hi there,

I have a pre-sales question for you. Are we able to turn off the ‘reviews’ option for the theme via the theme options? Everything else about your theme hits the sweet spots of what we are looking for. Or would it be something that would need to be done to the template or CSS itself to hide that div (the reviews)?

Also, if the ‘Reviews’ option is turned off/disabled, how does that effect the homepage slider/feed of ‘reviews’? May I insert anything into that layout/real estate?

Thank you for the info.

Hi There,

Thanks for your interest!
Regarding the review option, I’m using a plugin, so if you want to turn it off, you’ll need to disable the plugin, simple thing.

If the plugin is disabled nothing will be affected, the “Rantings” from the homepage will be hidden.

Is this theme is Multilingual Ready with wpml or others plugin

thank you

Hi There,

Thanks for purchasing my theme!
You can translate the Theme to your own language. The theme includes .po & .mo files for easy translation. The best plugin will be WPML.

Is it possible to have one main blog on this theme in addition to the user submitted articles? Also, where is the resume page on the demo? Is the theme compatible with bbpress and BuddyPress? How can I see a mobile version?

Hi There,

Morning here and thanks for your interest!
  1. Will require some custom work to accomplish that, a simple answer will be a custom post type.
  2. “Resume” – http://www.dropmocks.com//mInGwx and the resume example can be seen here.
  3. The theme is compatible with bbPress, but I haven’t tested it with BuddyPress.
  4. Mobile version can be seen with a small device or you can resize the browser to see how will look in smaller devices.

Hi :)

How can i change “View Count”. This question for when i change my old theme to this theme gone all views :(

Hi There,

Morning here.
Regarding your concern, I guess you want to change the number, because my theme doesn’t have the text “View Count”, so if you want to change the Views number for every article, is quite simple.

  1. Dashboard > All Posts > Open an article and click Edit.
  2. Click Screen Options > Check “Excerpt” – http://www.dropmocks.com//mIooaL
  3. Change views count – http://www.dropmocks.com//mIoepM

Disappointment with the top most viewed section hiding in mobile version also none of my footer widget showing in mobile. How come?

Hi There,

Sorry to hear that, regarding your concern, please take a look at the demo, as you can see the widgets from the footer are hidden in the mobile version.

Added to the list for future updates, also if you have more concerns, please submit a ticket so I can further assist you! = Foot Support is offered only via email.

If you have further questions, I’ll answer them in the morning.

Hi. When can we expect the Pinterest style demo and full width demo? Great job.

Hi Nicholas,

Thanks for your interest and nice words!
The idea with the Pinterest-style, something like my other theme “Pin”, was added to the list a few hours ago, so will take some time to create it, but definitely will be available soon, more exactly at the end of this week or monday.

The Full width demo is already available, but you’ll see the difference only if you have a big screen.

Hello,

I want to hide ‘Browse Category’ because i don’t know why the categories are not shown in the list at ‘Browse Categories’ under the big search. Please tell me where it is this options to hide .

Hi There,

Morning here and thanks for purchasing my theme!
In order to display Categories there, you need to have Categories, also the Categories need to have articles, you can’t display a Category with 0 articles because that Category will be hidden ( it doesn’t make sense to show something if it doesn’t have articles, that’s why you don’t see them ).

Yes, you can hide the “Browse Categories” with a small line of CSS that can be added via Theme Options > Style Settings > Custom CSS, please use the Foot Support and submit a ticket and I’ll be glad to help you.

If you have any concern with the above or you need may help, please submit a ticket so I can further assist you! = Foot Support is offered only via email.
