If you’re using the iframe method you can just grab the embed code from maps.google.com and paste it over the existing one.
If you’re using the Google Maps API method – there is a detailed explanation of that in the template documentation.

Hello. I tried to add a checkbox inside a modal and it doesn’t work. jQuery doesn’t recognize the click (I added a console.log inside the $(’.checkbox-option’).click function. Do you know why? Is there a workaround?

As I inspected that issue I found there to be nothing wrong. As I remember it, it was the Fullscreen Image Text (embed video) that you reported the bug on. Though I tested on Chrome, FF, Safari and all worked fine as I opened and closed the video several times. To confirm, I was using this page http://foundry.mediumra.re/home-default-2.html

Have tried using a different or tried a youtube video? I used the very same video you are using and it works. However, when I use youtube videos or any other video it doesn’t work. If you don’t mind try using this and tell me what you get.

You’re right, if you replace with that iframe it no longer works. But if you take the videos ID (in this case 142197501) and paste that over the current videos ID it will work.
I’m planning to rework the embedded modal videos for the next update (due late this / early next week) as I think it should be clearer. I’ll be sure to adjust the documentation to reflect this aswell.

How can we dynamically edit the content of a modal once it’s been displayed on the screen already? The modals seem to duplicate when they’re shown on the screen so I can’t call getElementById since there’s two of the IDs now.

Hey there,
Each modal on the page is assigned a data attribute called ‘modal-link’ starting from 0. So you’d be better off either targetting by that attribute or adding a unique class to the modal itself.
If you’re wondering why they are duplicated and appended to the bottom of the page, this is because the modals use fixed positioning, and therefore cannot be contained by an element that uses a transform to alter it’s positioning (ie. vertically centered elements). For this reason they are better to sit independently on their own in the page and be triggered by using a unique link (ie. modal-link attribute)

At the moment, the parallax is set at scrolling the page at one speed, we have plans to allow the user to adjust this but at the moment, the answer is no.

Yes this is possible, just create a link to your section that you want to scroll to by placing an ‘a’ element like so, above it:
a id=”my-scroll-section”
then add the class ‘inner-link’ to your button and make the href=’my-scroll-section’

I was hoping in future updates you could include some sort of messaging modal (just a popup that displays the messages you have or notifications) or profile page, so that it can be used for an entire website. My website shows profiles for the users, but it isn’t a complete social network, so that’s not what I’m asking for. It’s just a suggestion, but anyway, keep up the good work!

Foundry and Pivot share some similar features but a different visual aesthetic.
Pivot has been a really popular template for those who want a neat startup-esque looking business site. We find many Pivot customers are working in the technology related sector and this makes sense because Pivot uses bold, vibrant coloring and clean sans-serif typefaces to convey that modern tech-business look.
Foundry on the other-hand represents a more versatile look and therefore tends to appeal to customers working in broader sectors. We find Foundry customers use it for fashion websites, personal portfolios (there are more portfolio styles in Foundry) and health products too. That isn’t to say that tech based startups don’t use it, they do too.
Ultimately it comes down to you which one you’ll prefer, that’s why you can explore the demos and try out the page builder in both templates before you purchase. You may find points in one that better suit your needs – it’s all about choice and preference

I have purchased this item, and am now wondering what font/size/weight/whatever was used to type the word up in the logo space “FOUNDRY” up at the top left of many of the pages . . . including this one: http://foundry.mediumra.re/home-architecture.html ... not going to copy the FOUNDRY logo exactly, obviously, but would like the option of making something like it and knowing for sure exactly what that was. I was not able to find that in the docs, thanks!

How can I get Instagram location (like this : https://instagram.com/explore/locations/250743279/) into the Instagram Grid Gallery ? I think a modified JS will do the work but I don’t want to screw the code
Hmm, I’ve not seen this before – I’m not sure the plugin we’re using (Spectragram) is capable of showing locations. Also that link you mentioned doesn’t seem to work(??)

On line 319 of scripts.js change getUserFeed to getRecentTagged and then in the HTML just make the tag you want in the data-user-id field.
