We haven’t made any preparations for this, but I can’t see why that would not work, except that the mail form function requires php.

Technically any website is publicly accessible, so long as you have purchased a licence and are not distributing the base template files or Variant builder then this should be fine under the single-use licence.

This is possible if you are comfortable tinkering with HTML but this is not something we advertise or support, so I’m afraid you are on your own if you choose to do this as there is no documentation provided. You will find a part in the very long builder.html file where yo usee all the available sections. You are free to edit these to achieve what you need but we can’t help you with that.

After generated, are we able to change to custom colour using CSS?

You need to use the provided .less files in order to create a custom colour scheme. This can be done while you build, or after you export. You will just need to get the css file from the less process, and replace theme.css with your customised one. Variant does not have custom colour scheme creator at this time.
Just alter the colour variables in the beginning of the less file and use a processor (either online or on your computer) to turn the less into css.
Hey, thanks for the awesome update, I’ve been waiting for your html 5 slider for variant. Question: What is the ideal resolution for the video to play centered and in fullscreen? My video at HD is not centered and is way too large.

I managed to fixed the problem the error came from not updating the new files. Now how do you add just an image without a video? There’s no option for this unless you edit the html. Also, when you remove the text from the slider the height of the slider shrinks leaving a white gap.

This is something that has been requested but we don’t have a plan to add it yet. The reason for this is complexity of handling files placed on the server then managing user expectations around how they would access the files.

Hello,
This is covered in the documentation.
In Variant, simply rename the section as you see it in your list on the left hand column (click the section name and type your own), and it will then become an option in a drop-down list when you edit your links. The animation will visible in the resulting page.
Please read the documentation to find out more about doing this manually outside of Variant, as it involves adding tags between sections with certain classes added.

I know that this is a HTML theme! This might sound a little strange, but if I bought both the foundry (html) & the foundry (wordpress) theme…would it be possible to build an html page via the variant builder (which is awesome by the way), and plug that page html into a foundry (wordpress) page, without too much code work?
I like the ease and simplicity of your builder over visual composer. It would be great if I could pump out a quick design in variant and then plug into a wordpress page. That would probably save an hour or two per of my time using visual composer per page. I would set up headers/footers/blog separately using wordpress. Thanks

Although they do use the same CSS, I can’t guarantee that mixing the HTML and WP versions would work seamlessly, this is because certain changes need to be made to the WP version to have it integrate into the WP environment.
You might also ask the WP author TommusRhodus to confirm this as they built the WP version and hence, have a more in depth knowledge of the theme.

You are free to edit the builder.html file which contains all the available elements, however, this is undocumented and we don’t offer support for doing that.

You should change this in scripts.js on line 530. You will see “days” there and you can change that to whatever you need

Hey I am noticing updates are coming out. How can we get those updates if we already purchased? Also I submitted a ticket regarding social icons….trying to get them in a row like in the music landing page…....only able to get them to go one on top of other.
Hello, are you referring to the WordPress version? This is the item page for the HTML version.
In order to get the updated HTML files, simply revisit your downloads section at any time (http://themeforest.net/downloads) and re-download the file and you will have the latest version.
Same should apply to the WordPress version.

If you hover on contents -> click navigation -> scroll down to NAV FAQ you’ll see both questions answered there.
As for the mail, you do need to be working live on a PHP enabled server for that to work
