Sorry, but got another issue. Though I’m on the latest version of the theme and hook framework (5.5) my page always displays a critical error when going to the update page.

I’m currently on PHP 8, which is working fine for all WP installations I am hosting. Since I applied the updates to my local repo only, a login won’t be possible obviously. I can’t push that status live with the risk of breaking the live website. When I deactivate the hook_framework plugin, everything works fine, so it looks like a bug in that plugin, that was introduced with 5.4 since everything worked as it should before. PHP 8 is out for 2 years now, support for PHP 7.4 is ending soon and is on high end hostings even not available/allowed anymore.

I have the theme running on various PHP 8.0 installs. I can’t debug your local install though… It could be a conflict with another plugin.

Maybe I’m wrong, but the error stack looks obvious to me.

which expects 7 arguments.

So the call to the redux framework function seems to be wrong?

Please do this: deactivate and erase the hook framework plugin. Then install and activate again under Appearance>Install plugins

Sorry but that did not work. Can you send me an email so I can send you access details please. I went through all steps with fine tooth comb and disabled everything… updated everything and soon as I enabled your framework plugin it crashed.
