Although I have Allow comments unchecked on the event and do not have comments enabled from the Events Calendar plugin, the comments header stuff still shows on the event.

Thanks! Other thing… in mobile with the events block, the date block gets pushed up and is no longer visible. Maybe scaling font-size for smaller screens?

Hi there. Purchased this theme and installed the demo. Now I’m customizing it. having trouble figuring out how to change the date and countdown timers on the home page.
Also can’t figure out how to get an image displayed behind the countdown timer as that was not included in the demo.

Hi, 1st, As I can see there is a ” (Community Event) Add Event” in the menu already, In my understanding “Community event plugin” from modern tribe will enable you to submit front-end event. but you reply to “DickHo”, which your theme does not support this future. Am I missing something or …? 2nd, Will you adopt the theme for front-end ticket selling through “ticket plus pro” plugin? When will you adopt the sorting (categorize) events to show as grid? Thanks.

Fees: one time, and recurring. Stepped down rates based on how many events they have. One time charge (Price X) and let them add X events, or pay price Y and add Y events (i.e. table rates).
Levy fees based on: free (basic listing), price X with extra features, price Y full blown.
Discount codes for freebie listings.
Subscriptions via: Stripe, Paypal and credit card.
As I understand, you want a paid membership function that allows members to buy difference member type then allow them to post events. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
Your idea’s very similar to this comment on Modern Tribe’s form
As they have answered on that link, you should be prepared to do additional development if you want that feature.
About us, we don’t have any plan this feature, we have some themes which use “Modern Tribe” plugin but to be honest, we don’t have much experience in building function for The Event Calendar plugin. If we have opportunity ( if our event’s theme sale well or we have a project related to it ) we’ll try to build an add-on.

I’m interested into your theme, but have some questions before to purchase. I would know if is totally adapted to my specifications, in order to create a website for an annual and permanent music festival.
1. Is it 100% compatible with WMPL? Is each and any feature translatable? 2. Is it possible to plan ahead events (automating the publication)? 3. Is it possible for each event to choose among a pre-established list, which musicians will play? There are 10 musicians in total, but each are not playing at all concerts. 4. If yes, can the list of selected musicians be linked to the biography of each one? 5. Is it possible to plan a same event in different cities and at different dates or is it obliged to duplicate the event? 6. Is there a front end event submission, with all features available? 7. 1. Our theme is entirely compatible with WPML
2. Could you explain this point more clearly?
3,4,5. When you go to Events> Add New > Speaker> You can add many dates, musicians (speakers) here.

As for adding extra locations/cities, we will incorporate this feature into the next version.
6. Now, our theme has not supported this feature yet. We will consider it.
7. Now, you can sort events by city. With regards to filtering the next events, we are creating this feature.

I’m purchasing this for a client who needs to sell tickets to a monthly event. What kind of information is captured when a customer purchases a ticket through this theme? Where is that information stored? Is there also an option for the customer to check a Terms of Service box prior to checking out?

We use The Event Calendar + add-ons for event display and selling ticket so you can find more information on their site.
For what I know, you’ll sell tickets via WooCommerce and get information like a normal WooCommerce order.

How could I allow people to register or sign up to sessions after purchase? It wouldn’t have to verify registration or anything. I know I don’t see it in the theme but it’s part of the core functions in the new ECP plugin. Is there a way to add another category to the speaker post-type…I’ll be using this for sessions rather than speakers. Event Categories are obvious but so are session categories. I’d like to be able to show what category the session is and then if a user clicks the session it would show all others in the same session category. This never gets implemented and I can’t figure out why.
Also
How can I add the session be RSVP’d with ECP Tickets?
You’ll have to customize the source code to add the session as it’s not available in our theme.
By customizing the source code, I mean that you have to create a new add-on for The Event Calendar or edit our theme’s source code and it requires programming knowledge or you have to hide a developer.
