Under widgets I have no content set under the available footers, within the page editor in the back end I have no section set for the footer. I cannot find within the kbase customization or default wordpress customization a way to remove or configure the current footer menu that is showing up on my site.
Please let me know where I can configure the current footer.

This video didn’t really help. Because my footer sections under widgets were empty already yet a whole menu was still appearing in my footer.
I discovered the problem, in the kbase customization dashboard under layout>footer> down at the bottom where the copyright code is added by default, another line of code is also added by default “ [dt_sc_custom_menu] ” this was creating a menu that I could not edit or control. I had to remove it.

An issue arose since the theme was installed. The widgets customization page in the backend (found in Appearance>Widgets) gives a “There has been a critical error on this website.” warning when I try to access it.
Any solutions for this?

The theme looks beautiful in all the demos online. I am excited to use it.
However, two immediate concerns:
Upon installing the demos using Unyson and the instructions provided with the theme; The site when loading now shows the loading icon/graphic forever, without ever loading the site… I have tried installing two different demos with the same outcome.
This theme following installation says that WPBakery is required. But WPBakery is a paid plugin. Is it possible to use theme without this plugin?
I have submitted these two concerns via the support forum on your designtheme site, and waiting for a response.

A new question for you.
Buddypress is a big part of this theme, however, when it was installed, I was hoping that it would allow me to setup a members-only site. However, I cannot see where to setup a registration and login page, as a requirement to access the site.
The site is currently wide open to the public. Any help would be appreciated, thanks again!

Yes I see that the login page is now working and the registration page is working. Which is great! I wish I knew how you fixed that.
The problem though is: how do you use buddypress to restrict access to non-members to the site’s content?
Without logging in I still have full access to the site’s content.
I could not find a solution with buddypress. So I used a plugin called “content control.” To customize the login page I used another plugin called “LoginPress.”
Seems to be doing a good job so far.

Hello, I am following up with this because I have come across another issue with BuddyPress and this theme. and Buddypress is a major part of this themes functionality.
For some reason, I don’t think Buddypress is installed correctly with this theme, because I still do not get the option to set menus and access for logged in users vs logged out users. I do not have the option to restrict access to content outside of using a third party app called content control and loginpress. Which I actually like.
The downside is I cannot use full features of BuddyPress like seen in this youtube clip. https://youtu.be/JhjSFWnn1dU?si=6QVPFYoKGKMeSpjY&t=323 I cued it up to the menu customization for logged in users vs logged out users. I do not have access to set all these same pages that are seen in this tutorial. Is there a premium paid version of BuddyPress that opens up these features? or is this a fault in the installation of the plugin?

Cannot drop table ‘wp_woocommerce_downloadable_product_permissions’ referenced by a foreign key constraint ‘fk_wp_wc_download_log_permission_id’ on table ‘_fwbk_wp_wc_download_log’.”

does this require wpbakery or can I use default wordpress Gutenberg editor to create knowledge base?

Our theme supports both Gutenberg as well as the WpBakery Page builder plugin. You can use Gutenberg Page builder for new pages, and posts that you are going to use or create.
We have built the theme only with the WpBakery plugin.
The Gutenberg page builder works with only newly created pages and not with the dummy pages that are created using the “Import Option”. Only our default page builder will work with dummy pages created with the Import Option.

Hello – purchased this theme today. Having a terrible time getting it to work. Everything ends up as a 404 error. I installed all demo content – no luck. Followed documentation. Hosting locally on a synology NAS. Any thoughts? Should I reset WordPress and start over? This is a mess.
