Hey there!
I am about to buy this theme but I was wondering if the theme allows me to use my own fonts? I have a font file for my organization and I want to be able to use it. Is that possible?

Again this last version has replaced the favicon. Be careful with this things
Hi,
unfortunately, that would have required changes to the theme’s settings panels. Such enhancements are planned for some of the later updates…

Hi! I need to add more than 5 slides on front page. How can I do this?
Hi,
I just replied to your email.
I am considering buying this but have a question. Do I need Moodle to be installed first before setting up your theme on Wordpress?
Hi,
please note that the theme is for use with Moodle only, it can not be installed in WordPress. Moodle is not a WordPress plugin, it is – unlike WordPress – a native Learning Management System. It provides educators, administrators and learners with a single robust, secure and integrated system to create personalised learning environments. As a highly flexible LMS, Moodle can be used to conduct courses online or to support face-to-face teaching, learning and training. It can also be extended with over 500 plugins for assignments, quizzes, grading, certification, and social and collaborative learning.
Sure – there are also plugins for WordPress which allow you to track your users progression on certain tasks and to embed TinCan or Scorm packages, but that doesn’t turn WordPress into a native LMS.
So if you want to create a website for a learning environment, you should consider to give Moodle a chance…
Thanks for replying. Still confused about this. Is Lambda moodle with your theme built around it? It says that Lambda is compatible with moodle 2.5 -3.1. If I purchase Lambda Is it good to go without any links to moodle; what I am asking is how does Moodle fit into it.? Thanks
Moodle is the software you need to run your learning platform. You can download Moodle for free, upload it onto your own web server and install it to get your elearning website online. After that you can install a theme (e.g. Theme Lambda) to customise the site design and layout.
So basically it’s just the same as with WordPress, but it’s a different focus. WordPress is a content management system while Moodle is a learning management system.
Thank you for your patience and taking the time to reply to my questions. I am impressed with your attention to my problems. I will purchase your product
You’re welcome

Hi,
I just replied to your email.
Hi, The theme “Lambda – Responsive Moodle Theme” are compatible with Moodle 3.1.2? Thanks
Hi,
thank you for your interest in Theme Lambda for Moodle. Yes, the theme will work fine with Moodle 3.1.2.
Thanks for your answer. One more, is it translated to portuguese language (Pt_br)?

Thank you for your very nice theme.
I have one problem: I wanted to add a header image to a course (like in the demo), but unlike in the demo, there is always the “General” header on top of the image.
Is there a way to hide that section header? Or do I simply have misunderstood where on the page I have to insert the code for the page header image?
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
are you perhaps using Moodle 3.1? This version has some kind of “new” behaviour for the general topics section – and I’m not fully sure if that’s a feature or a bug:
When you have created a new course, the title for the general topics section is hidden by default. But once you have edited it, it is not possible to remove it anymore.
So you should not edit the description for the top section, but instead you can place the course-pano class by using a label and adding your course description to that resource. You can then drag & drop the label to the top of your course.
This approach by adding a label is also recommended for all other Moodle versions.
btw: It is also possible to apply some css modifications to the theme settings which will hide the “topic 0” header. But this would affect all courses in general. Just contact me via the support page (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) if you’re interested in this solution.
Thanks for the quick and helpful reply. We’re using indeed version 3.1. I’ll keep the CSS solution in mind. If we decide to add header to all courses, that might be the best way to go.
Moodle does it work with 3.1?
Hi,
thank you for your interest in Theme Lambda for Moodle – and yes, the theme works well with Moodle 3.1!
An improvement for the next versions: Could the favicon be kept to not be replaced in the update?
Regards,
Hi,
yes, you’re right – I should definitely consider this for one of the following updates.
Hi Eva_pi, I would like to add in social_page (Themes> Theme-Lambda > Social Media) a link to Vkontakte (so called Russian Facebook)
Would it be possible to give me some hints?
Thanks in advance, C.
Hi,
yes, that’s possible with a few customizations. If you contact me via the support tab (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ), I can describe you the necessary steps.
NO Idea how to set up this site like the demo. Seems like 3.1 has changed a few options in the block editing category.
Hi,
I have just sent you an email regarding your request.
Thank you for such a wonderful theme.
I need your help make my website the same like the demo.
I have just sent you an email.
Hi,
I have just responded to your email…
It would be good that the default theme would be put when you install the theme instead of be empty. It’s just a recommenadation.
Unfortunately Moodle doesn’t allow an import of sample data during the installation process like WordPress or Joomla.
I know that there are some themes available that offer to set up the contents for the front page via the theme settings, but I am against such an approach because that would bind your contents to the theme. If you have to change the theme, you would loose all of your contents that you created for the front page.
So I have chosen a different approach for my theme – I wanted to follow the Moodle internal standards to provide a theme which runs stable and reliable. All contents that are shown at the demo site are placed by adding labels to the Moodle front page topic section.
If you contact me again via the support page (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ) I can send you the HTML contents from the demo site. I can also set up the frontpage for you if you would like to – just let me know…
Congratulations for the theme. It’s the best one with much difference:
-It’s the unique theme which has support in all the content for the multilanguage (several languages). I found themes which support but not in all the theme.
-The support is awesome! Eva always is looking to help you with moodle, you can ask her all the time and she always is answering with a smile.
-It has got many features. You can change it like you want.
-It has many updates. It means that Eva is working and improving the theme each time. You will get support and improvements each time.
-The design is very nice and the code is fantastic.
Clearly, I recommend it
Thank you very much for your kind words!
Is it possible to use for 2 languages (english and spanish) in all the contents/slider/pages? How? Regards,
Hi
Moodle offers several options to create a site with multilanguage support so that you can show your contents in english/spanish. Just contact me again via the support tab (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ), I can help you with the setup.
Pre-sale question: In addition of the tabs and default language, could I use the multilanguage in the slider and boxes information? Regards,
I need a theme for spanish and english and I’m finding many problems to get them in 2 languages!
I have seen red, blue and yellow colour schemes. Could I use the orange like in the schemes?
Hi,
as mentioned in my previous comment, Moodle offers several approaches so that you can organize your contents for multiple languages. If you contact me via the support tab (http://themeforest.net/item/lambda-responsive-moodle-theme/9442816/support ), I can describe them in more detail.
Theme Lambda is fully compatible with the Moodle multilanguage content filter, so you can define multilanguage contents also for the main slideshow, the carousel or information boxes.
Regarding the theme colors: You can select your individual choices for the colors of the theme elements, you have unlimited color options here. The yellow color combination is the default one after the installation of the theme.
Hi eva, many thanks! It seems the most functional theme. I’m getting crazy to try to find any moodle theme 100% multilanguage (including sliders), although the design could be improved a bit. Is the boxed style forced? or could it be full width?
The theme settings also offer an option for a full width layout
