Hi Adam, Look forward to getting the theme set up. I can’t figure out if it’s possible to do these things: - Can I limit a “free” (i.e. basic entry level) listing to show up on search results without allowing it to click thru to the dedicated listing page? (basically only to display the information that is picked up on the search result? - If point above is possible, Can I have a generic placeholder image show up as background of the search result box/card? Would this reference always the same image or would an image have to be uploaded for each listing?

First of all thank you for a great theme – I just bought it. I have one question about the listing. I’m using the teme together with woocommerce bookings / vendor but I would like to know if it’s posible to make multi price pr. product. Ex. real estate product should be able to book pr. day pr. week and pr. month.

Great Theme! One question; We have set up the homepage with a image grid just like the live demo. The taxonomy is region listing. The images shown in the grid seems to be randomly choosen among the images in the related listings. Is it possible to choose a specific static image instead? We are thinking of using an image of the city, similar to the demo.

Why do you not mention on the pre buying page that in order for the site to work like the demo you have to purchase WC paid listings plugin and Social login both coming to $120 (maybe more as I havent finished going through the set up guide.)?

Am I right in thinking this? What other paid plug ins do I have to buy for this to work like the demo?

We are creating a property directory portal and are looking for a wordpress theme that ticks as many of the boxes we require as possible. Obviously we know that some elements will not be within some themes out of the box but we must be able to add some of the following by way of additional plugins etc at the very least. The theme must be flexible, have customization options, have scope to build added functions and to scale. With reference to as much detail as possible can you let me know if your theme is suitable for the requirements set out below:

Porperty rental portal Users must be able to search for properties and send enquiry to owner direct or book rental properties direct. Possible option for website to take deposit or full payment on behalf of owner or deposit/payment direct to home owners bank account via site if the site administrator is notified of transaction. Ideally we would like to offer some peyment protection system for bookers if they pay via our Ecommerce platform. Property owners must be able to submit listing(s) and manage their own booking calendar. Account users must be able to edit listing details within reason.

Site requirements overview 1. Responsive 2. Front end listing submition for properties/user able to manage or edit their listings simply without need for intervention or access to wordpress backend. 3. Detailed property search funtion (multiple property types) with location function or google map built in. Details such as property type, detsination by country, Town, number of rooms/people, availability/price per night etc. 4. Annual fee advertising option, percentage per booking charge/calculator or set recurring monthly payment packages to home owners/listing submiters. 5. Multiple Languages preferred. 6. Colour customization. 7. Page builder options. 8. Site administrator must get notifications of all transactions/emails exchanged between users etc. 9. Detailed user register/sign up system. Easy sign up with Facebook extra option. Terms & conditions sign up tick box. Name/address/phone/email address with auto sign up email verification proofing requirement/package choice & payment options/image upload/property features info input/option for video content and google map of property on listing. 10. Ecommerce, woocomerce or paypal integration. 11. Booking calendar. 12. Option for data to be inputted on listing, of nearby services and amenties local to each property. 13. Possible option to add in car hire etc or other secondary services to sell and book within site. 14. Site must be modern and simple to navigate. 15. Ideally with a megamenu. 16. Option for agencies to list and manage multiple properties with a subscription package. 17. Property wishlist/save function. 18. Featured properties, recent properties etc. 19. Listing editing notification to site administrator.

Hi, while submitting a listing, after category there is an option for additional field. However i noticed that all the values there relate to listings for restaurant,

Is it possible to customize the additional fields based on the categories selected.

For example suppose if a user selects automobile category while submitting a listing, can we display only additional files related to automobile?

1. Under the home page, I see ‘Recent Listings’ , can I list ‘Featured Listing’ where I can display 2 offers for the businesses- 1 FREE and Second Featured plan for an amount. Featured plan will have some additional features. But I am wondering where I can show these featured guys on the home page.

2. Do you have a sample blog post or any other pages which has all the ad spots shown? Are the ad spots responsive?

3. Will this support bbprss/ buddypress?

4. Are the logos under ‘As seen in’ section hyperlinkable?

5. Why doesn’t the single blog post show the author info (may be an author widget) and some post sharing option? I think this is very important for the blogs.

Before i think about purchasing this theme i would like to know a few things

1. Can it support a big number of markers? My website consists of at least 25000 listings. I already purchased another theme and it didn’t deliver the result it should. It was loading all markers at once and the whole system was reaaaaally slow. At about 10000 markers the load time was at 50 seconds which is terrible. Does your theme, somehow limits the number of markers that can be shown on screen, does it do clustering etc? I would expect an honest answer based on some facts (like a real website with many markers), because if this theme does not support this main feature, i will ask for a refund.

2. Can i use custom pins, for every category of listings?

3. Does it have a module or plugin or feature to upload listings from csv?Paid or built-in.

4. Is it easy to customize the frontpage or is not to be changed drastically?

5. Does it have an events management feature or plugin? Paid or built-in.

Overall you have done a great job guys. The theme seems really good.

Hey guys,

Great looking theme, already spent a few hundred extra on plugins and etc but well worth the money.

Just a few things: 1. Can the woocommerce booking product be automatically populated with the venue’s opening hours? It feels like an unnecessary double up.

2. I know this is on the roadmap but, a venue having multiple tiers (eg. basic only has a listing, premium has reviews, photos, premium+ has booking etc… )

3. It’d be great if there was a Book Now button next to submit a review at the banner of the venue if the venue had booking available.

4. The shop page lists everything, I’m almost tempted to delete it or deny access to it. I’m not sure exactly what could be done with that page but I think the experience needs to be improved.

5. Bug: When using the places plugin, the slug of the page defaults to the address instead of the venue name

6. It’d be great to have a “Open now”, “Closed until 5am tomorrow” or something similar to facebook pages above the opening hours.

Would be keen to hear what you guys think… I’d love it if you guys could add these but if I need to I’m happy to pay for these to be added to our website too (depending on price).

Wondering if you have a screen shot of what BBpress looks like with no styling? My client is busting nuts to have a forum system, but all the themes that have it are horrible. this is by far the prettiest directory theme!

A functional feature that we would love to see implemented on Listify: (we posted this before as well)

Simple styling for bbpress.

90% + of the folks using Listify on real projects will inherit a a myriad of marketing advantages from the content and community building benefits that a forum provides (especially as the site goes through the challenging initial phase when seeding a site with content is critical for attracting an audience & forums provide an easy, interactive and engaging way of doing that) and currently…....as great as Listify is overall, the styling the forums inherit from the theme makes using it a liability as is.

I’m happy to pay to have it done privately of course as well – but in terms of a forward thinking feature that would be easy to implement, is very helpful on user generated content style sites and pragmatically will help a ton of people cultivate a real sense of community using your theme – think it would be a smart move to make.

Happy the priority with Astoundify is for speed and UX while adding features without sacrificing quality. Will it be possible soon to use image files for map markers and breadcrumbs for locations>sublocations?
