How can an instructor place a cource? If I use your demo site and log in, I still can not log in as instructor or place a cource.

Hi Mark,
An user with role is administrator or instructor can create a course. Please go to admin menu LearnPress / Courses / Add New to create a new one. In that page, you will see all options to build a course, add lesson, add quiz, and make some course settings.

I want to buy LMS wordpress theme. However, registration for the course I want to implement it no buying the course, although it is paid, but only filling out the form of the course. It enables this theme?

In LearnPress system, to access a course, an user has to click on a enroll button (the course has fee and requires enroll) or he just has free access if author set the course with option no require enroll.
About what you mentioned, right now our system has not supported yet.

Step 1: Go to menu Settings / General and choose your language, for example French (with locale is fr_FR).
Step 2: Create translation file for theme. Using Loco plugin or Poedit app or other translation app, create a file from theme default language file (which located in directory elearningwp/languages/) then named the file is fr_FR.mo and put it in this directory.

I tried to build a child theme, it worked, but the footer widgets appeared in the header(where the navagation is), and the widgets in the actual footer area did not looked right. I made the child theme with the style.css en function.php file.

Is it possible to give the maximum seat option an additional function, where a course is taking place only, if the maximum seat number has been reached? If not, an automated email is going out to the already reserved students, that the course will not take place.

Hi, I’m interested into this theme and have some pre-sale questions:
– Can users send private messages between them? – Is there an events module/page included? – Is it possible for users to uploads files in front end (.pdf .doc .ppt) and to provide them to others logged users in a « downloads » section? – Is it possible to assign roles and permissions to users to download these files?
For these 2 last questions, if the theme does not include them, could you advise a professional plugin for this feature?

Instructors can upload media, document into courses. About other features – users chat, events page, restrict download, the theme does not support those ones. I have to research to find down which plugins is compatible with your purpose then I will get back to you.

1. Course registration: there are 3 types: 1-free, not require enroll, guests can access the course; 2-free, require enroll, users have to take a course; 3-paid, require enroll of course, process via some payment methods like PayPal, Credit Cards, Stripe…
2. LearnPress supports a profile for each users, store courses progress, quiz results.

Quick question: can I add a quiz to a lesson? It would be just to practice the things the student learnt in the lesson. So the result does not have to be recorded, saved or anything like that…

You can add quizzes and lessons into a section for a course. Learner will practice with those quizzes after finishing lessons.

hello, I am planning to buy your theme but Currently having some pre-sales queries 1- the signup functions are configured using WPmail function or SMTP ? if it is with mail function can i add one of the third party plugin that ensure my site to work and send email successfully through your theme because i just finished my last site and the sign up does not work, also the support team does not accept to Re-customize the functions so all my work is useless now so i dont want to be in the same situation again, i want to be sure that your support will help to solve any sign up issue later cos my hosting allows to send and receive emails by only using SMTP. 2- are there any free courses that require just user registration to be showing or for guests 3-is there a free quiz i can add that is actually not related to any of existing courses like financial quiz,skills ets 4/ is there a pricing and packages page to display what i have as available pricing in my comany thank u in advance

Firstly, thanks for your concern.
1. The registration mail using default WordPress feature. With email settings and email config in your hosting, don’t worry about the issue .
2. There are free courses which require enrolled (users have to register on your site and take those courses). Also free courses which do not need require, guests just take courses.
3. Quizzes have to be included in a course. So there are no quizzes like you mentioned.
4. I can not get your point. Please clarify that.

I saw a problem on a customer site. It like yours, users can not get the register email after sign up on the site (the site using BuddyPress). After re-set up mail hosting, it works. And it’s a rare case.
Questions in a quiz have so many type: single choice, multiple choices, fill in blank, true false… It’s very cool huh.
The theme does not support that. But you can install a plugin to do the feature.

Hi, just few suggestions…
1. At the moment purchasing a course is impossible due to bad UI. It would be great to re-think this part.
The sticky header is fantastic feature, but i think it would be nice to have it shown right at the beginning. I mean show as soon as user get to the page.
Also another “Take this course” button will be handy in the course description. It would be fantastic to add this special button as a widget or something. So we can use it wherever we wish through the site (maybe a short code…)
2. When user clicks the “Take this course” button it will redirect to the WP-LOGIN page. This is really bad if user gets to this point you will be sure to MISS A SALE!
I suggest upon clicking on the “Take this course” button user should be directed to the register page where he/she can fill out their details then proceed to the checkout..
3. After login, students will be redirected to the home page.
In every system when user logs in will be directed to some sort of dashboard so user can see what is going on. I think it would be great to redirect user to their profile page. Also the profile page MUST be hidden for not logged in users.
Apart form the above is a FANTASTIC theme and it has a lot of potential in it. I have the other well known LMS theme… I can tell this has a LOT OF POTENTIAL.

1. Right now LearnPress does not support this feature. But we can set up the maximum number of students enroll a course.
2. Yes we have to install other plugin. It will be easy.
3. Yes, the theme uses WordPress Customize.
4. The theme does not provide HTML5 template files.
