Dose anyone know how to get the two widget placeholders for the “Our Brands” and “Stay In Touch” areas? In the documentation it shows these, but I do not have them? Currently, I have no access to that information on the homepage and when you click on them, I get a 404 Error.

Both template are separate as you can see on themeforest. You need to purchase joomla version in order to download it.
It is so inconvenient that the MJ-Slideshow on wordpress doesn’t have an aAuto rotate option!!! what can I do now? after bying this template (MJ-SIMPLE) the client wants am automatic slideshow!

Yes you can disable the slideshow and use the one with your choice. I am confused with another question. You want to purchase or you have purchased Joomla version of this?

Yes , Go to in home.php file and comment or remove the line from 04 to 64.>> What you want to display instead of slideshow and which different type of page you want to display in home page.

How do I get the attributes to be “choices” in a drop-down menu for the products. They only show up in the Additional information and are not selectable?

For display the “choices” attributes in a drop-down menu for the products follow the steps:
1) Go to the any products pages2) Go in the Product Data part and select the Variable Product from the drop-down menu.3) Go to in the Attribute tab and click in the add button4) Write the name which you want to display and set the value in value box and click on the both check box like Visible for the product page and Used for the Variations.5) Click on add button if you display the more choices.6) Then update the product page7) Click on the variation tab and pass the data as per the value then update the post

Slideshow doesn’t work automatically. Once you click on prev/next the slides will appear. Although you can try third party slideshow.

Hello, it is me again from the previous post. I really like the theme you have, and please if I might suggest something. Now please inform me if there is already a simple way to do this or not with in the theme itself. I would love to know how. If I may with all due respect, suggest adding a plugin or a part of the next update of this theme with the ability for a user to be able to change out the “Brands” carried text in the same manor that a user would change out the text in a product or some similar way. They could also possibly be able to add as many Brands as they want to that section, at the same time have the ability to link to that product line of a certain Brand within the site from said text. I mention text and not images because with having some companies logo on your site, they may take legal actions against you. Yet you can have the companies name in text and should be okay. You could allow them the be able to select a standard font type. In addition, text is much better for SEO anyways. Just a thought. Thank you.

For change the our brands follow the steps: 1) go to the widget -> click on the our brands widget in block -> open the php block -> set the code which you want
2) then save the changesFor remove the brands 1) go to the home.php file in the mj_simple folder -> remove the 142 to 145 line.

We have set our brands module in mj-position6.so go adminside and module manger and Unpublish this module.and you will install another free extension and apply mj-position-6 and display in home page.

How do i change the colour of the menu/header, footer, buttons, text, etc. I really do not like the 8 pre-set colour options. I have tried all 8 but the colours just do not do justice to he site. So I want to add my own colour codes.

For that Follow the Steps: 1) Copy the blue.css file as a base file from the ColorCss folder, 2) Then Replace the color code which you want to display and rename it. 3) Put in the ColorCss folder.
From Admin side Follow the steps: 1) Go to the wordpress admin side 2) Click on the Option tree -> Setting -> Theme Option UI -> Edit mode on the Theme Color Block -> Click on the Add choice button and put the color name. 3) Save the Changes. 4) Go to Appearance -> Mj Simple Options -> General -> Theme color, select the color from Drop-down which you made. 5) Then Save the Changes.
Hello, Great theme! I have one question so far. On the product categories widget (both on homepage and woocommerce pages), how do I get the widget to show proper category hierarchy? I have my categories setup as parent, and subcategories, but that widget is showing everything in an alphabetic list. I’d like to have it only show the parent categories. Thanks again

For show the only parent categories login in the wordpress admin side > Appearance>widget->Home left sidebar->Click on WooCommerce Product Categories -> Set order by as Name

We have checked with woocommerce and this is the widget provided by Woocoomerce. We will release the updates about this in next version but in mean time you can head to woocoomerce support forum and get some instant solution. Neverthless looks for update. We will surely release this feature as part of the theme.

Where is the documentation for installing this theme? I cant work out how to add my logo etc etc. I have followed your website but every time I click the MJ Simple documentation/installation guide on your site it opens a new tab for the same page. It is very frustrating.

Ok got that working. Three more questions:
1. I have a white bar between the main menu and the top menu. How do I remove the white bar between the top menu and the main menu?
2. How do I remove the our brands section from the homepage?
3. Also I receive an error when I activate the breadcrumb plugin… Fatal error: Cannot redeclare breadcrumb_css() (previously declared in /home/content/24/11385324/html/wp-content/themes/MJ-Simple/functions.php:885) in /home/content/24/11385324/html/wp-content/plugins/really-simple-breadcrumb/breadcrumb.php on line 84
1. Because you are logged in as admin in site, the whitebar appears. Site visitor’s will not see same white bar.
2. For remove the our brands section in homepage.. Go to the home.php file and remove the line from 142 to 145
3. You do not need to activate breadcrumb plugin. Its already given as part of theme. No need of separate plugin installation.

I like the theme but there seems to be some issues with the product pages. The main image is too large and is not thumnailed. In addition , the Description, Additional Information, and Reviews tabs are not present. They are just links. And the area where the add to cart button, the background is not white.

Im having a question before buying, does the Ecwid shop and the theme shop both share the same products? I want to use the theme shop for my website and the edwic shop as a Facebook app… is this possible, or do i hace to add the products twice (once per shop)??

Hi, in the demo site the woocommerce store is seperate then that of Ecwid. For yuo purpose I would suggest you use Ecwid for Product management and payment. In the Wordpress site you make ecwid as your home page. This way you just have to maintain ecwid store only.
