So sorry for the delay. Sorry but Muse does not do responsive. I am however working on a tablet and mobile version of this theme to be done this month

Great theme. I was wondering how i can access the other video slides to edit their HTML. I am able to change the last one only. I’ve tried locking it and selecting others from the layers palette but nothing works. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I need auto play, loop and hide controls for youtube, do you have code for that?
on that note, it doesnt have to be youtube, its just thatis the only one that i have had luck with, i’d prefer to use a host like you did for your site and your simple code, but i don’t have a good idea of what to use other than vimeo, youtube. would dropbox work?
Thanks for the purchase! I’ve had some issues with this one. This is the code I want to use since it leverages the newest embed techniques but it keeps crashing Muse when I try. Maybe you will have better luck.

I was however able to get it to work using the old embed code here.

You will need to replace the “O7-ggV4SQRs” with the youtube ID you have.
Do you not have access to a web host that you can upload the videos to for the simple method? where are you planning to host your site?

I’m very interested in this theme, but mobile is a must for me. If I buy it now, and tomorrow you update it for mobile, will that update be available to me? Is it easy to re-customize an updated template (sorry, Muse noob

Those are really good questions! I am working on a mobile version so yes you will be able to download it when its done. As for updating, you can easily add a mobile version with no problems. If there are new features added to them in the future, you can simply add those to your modified version if you would like I am happy to help if you get stuck along the way as well.

Hi lm new to muse and I’m struggling with the video elements as well as the background scrolling could you help?
Also, the videos are in a slideshow so if you only want one video, you can delete the others.
The way the videos are referenced are from a web server that I have uploaded the videos to. If you want to do the same, you will need to upload your video and change the link that i have with your new link.
If you are wanting to use a video from Youtube or Vimeo, you can replace the video code I have with the following:
Youtube:

As for the background scrolling, there are many tutorials on the muse site and on youtube that you can watch to get up to speed on the basics but if you have a specific question, please explain in detail and i’ll try to assist you

So this is the default message that shows but it is likely that the video code you are using is not quite right. Can you show me the code you have entered into the html window?
I bought this template, but noticed the video changed from the preview. Instead of the long road (which is something I liked) it’s now a slow moving purple graphic…. I’m not sure what happened.

Hello, sorry for the delayed reply. Yes you can use both but it kind of depends on the video dimensions. The bigger the better. Let me see if I can put together an example.
OK, I was able to get this to work with Vimeo so far. Here is the code I used. Replace the html I have for one of the video slide with the following:

Ok, I too am having trouble with implementing my own video. I followed the instructions shown on this video: http://www.screencast.com/t/6NRaHGDxz, cleared my cache, and pasted in my source. Still, after all of this, my video does not play – its still pulling the stock videos you had coded into. I checked the index.html file that muse exports and I see two other areas where videos are referenced on lines 34 and 44 : Your browser does not support the video tag. </video>

Hi there, sorry for the delay. So this is really interesting as the effect you are referring to only happens that way in Chrome (and maybe safari) But if you view the same section of the site in Firefox you will see the animated gif running as it should be. The truth is I liked the effect in Chrome much better even though there is no way to recreate this function intentionally (at least in Muse)

I changed the src of my HTML video based on the screencast from above, but it still seems to be pointing to the stock video. Do I need to change it somewhere else as well?
No that is the only place. It could be a cache issue. Please send me your .muse file and I’ll have a peek for you
How can I upload my own videos?
I do not recomend to purchase this video unless you want to remain the predefined stock videos. You CAN’T add your own videos.
