Hi Im very new to all this website stuff. ive downloaded 1 click wordpress and exported the theme to wordpress but how do i use the drag and drop feature to see the theme come to life?

After you install the theme and all bundled plugins, you can import demo content in Theme Options -> Home. You will receive predefined pages/posts and can edit them with the drag and drop page builder on your WordPress admin. Go to Pages and select a page to edit, click on a Backend Editor to use the drag and drop page builder. For more details on importing demo and using the Visual Composer page builder, please follow the instructions in our documentation.

Hi,
Please make sure you’ve set the featured image for each portfolio in Portfolios on your admin. Try to edit your portfolio posts, then set the featured image in the Featured Image box in the right hand side of the page (like a blog post).

Hi Wyde – very nice looking theme so far!
I am having trouble with my icons not showing up and / or how to change the colors. For example, the back to top arrow is missing, the social share icons are not visible on blog posts and some of the other icons are missing (e.g. post format icons). Even weirder is that sometimes they will just show up but most of the time, they do not (or maybe they are white on white?)... Can you help me find the issue? Thanks.

Looks like the browser couldn’t download webfonts from your host.
Maybe: 1. Your host doesn’t support webfont MIME types. 2. Your WordPress installation URL is on different domain/subdomain from the current URL, so it couldn’t download any cross-domain icon files.

I did have the following in there but it didn’t fix the issue.

Sounds like you haven’t yet import demo content but only site settings have been imported. To import demo content, please follow these:
1. Go to Theme Options -> Home, select the demo contents you’d like to import, then select Multi Pages and click on Import Content button in the Import Demo Content section.
2. Once the processes are all completed, scroll down to the Update Site Settings section at the bottom of the page.
3. Click on Creative Agency thumbnail to import the demo settings.

It’s because your logos are very large so they will be resized to fit within the header height and they will be pixelated.
BTW, if you’d like you can add the below CSS to Theme Options -> Advanced -> Head Content to increase the logo size:

That is a portfolio post, you can find it in Portfolios. Also, please make sure you’ve selected the Portfolios option when you import demo content.

seems that you have to set the design to wide on both VC and Overlap page settings
Of course, if you’d like to create a full-width page please change the Page Layout option to “Wide”.

The portfolio related posts box displays the portfolio posts that have the same tags as the item on single portfolio page. Please make sure you’ve set any tags for your portfolio posts.

This is a bug on mobile/tablet. We’re not sure why it’s working fine on our demo sites but doesn’t on your site.

We also seem to be having some difficulties with our slider cover mode. We’re trying to add an overlay, however once we put it “Cover” in Cover Mode, it doesn’t show up.

Please choose Stretch instead so it will be stretched to full the slider width and height.
Also, I’ve just edited an overlay on static layer to show you how to setting up a fullscreen overlay.
BTW, if you have a full-screen overlay on static layer, it will overlay all elements in slider as well as the next/prev arrows. If you’d like to show the next/prev arrows you should remove an overlay from static layer and add it into each slide instead.

The pin on the map will change when the address was changed. After you change the address please click outside the address field. Also, you can drag a pin to the correct location on the map.

For the Blog Posts with overlap layout, is it possible to put a short extract of the article in the white box ? For the moment there are only the title, category and social share. I though it would be with the “Extract” part of the article modification, but when I write things in it, nothing happen (I did published and cleared the cache).
All blog posts layouts will display the post except. The overlap layout will display the excerpt in the white area of the featured image at the bottom of the post title as you can see in the below image.
BTW, the post excerpt won’t display on tablet landscape mode and other screens with similar sizes since they have no enough space for the post excerpt. Please try on different screens.
Ok I tried one my iPhone and yes it works on that screen. But it doesn’t on my MacBP screen.. That’s quite a normal screen type, what can I do ?
Second problem : the main picture of one of my article works perfectly in my computer, but on a smartphone we can only see the alt name of it.. Any solution?

Regarding the picture isuue on smartphone, I suppose it is an image file name issue, please make sure there is no invalid character in the image file name. Try to rename your image name and re-upload it. If it still doesn’t work please send us the page URL.
Hey, I bought your theme for a client and having some difficulty with the Slider. It seems that when click to the home page from another page, the slider is not active. Say for example, when I’m on the about page for my site and click home in the navigation, the slider disappears. Is this an issue with the plugin, if so, should I reach out to them as well?

I suppose there was something wrong on slider settings because all fullscreen sliders are working fine on our demo sites.
Please try these to see if it works.
1. Edit your slider settings, scroll down to the bottom of settings page,
you will see the options as the below image:
Change the “Disable Force FullWidth” option from OFF to ON.
2. Edit your home page, edit the row container of slider, change the “Content Width” option to “Full Width”.

You can enable Visual Composer on blog post and other post types in Visual Composer -> Role Manager on WordPress admin page, change Post types to Custom then select “post” and any post types you’d like.

My apologies, this is a bug of the portfolio overlap layout. Thank you for taking the time to report this issue, it will be fixed in the next update. BTW, other layouts of portfolio grid are working, if you’d like you can change the layout to temporarily fix it.
