After updating to the latest WHMCS Phox template version, now I get a blank page. When trying to access the Phox template settings inside the WHMCS, it shows the setting for a few seconds and then it goes blank.

The error is on line 3147. Change the <? endif; ?> to <?php endif; ?> and the syntax error should be resolved.

1- Update Available: We’ve released an update that fixes this issue. Please update both the Phox theme and Phox Hosting plugin to the latest versions.
2-Regarding Short Tags:We follow the WordPress PHP coding standards, which allow alternative syntax like if: endif;—especially in template files mixing PHP and HTML. See: https://developer.wordpress.org/coding-standards/wordpress-coding-standards/php/#formatting

You’re absolutely right — WordPress standards recommend not using shorthand PHP tags: https://developer.wordpress.org/coding-standards/wordpress-coding-standards/php/#no-shorthand-php-tagsThis wasn’t used anywhere else in the theme, and it was unintentionally introduced in a recent update. We’ve corrected it in the latest release to align with WordPress standards as much as possible.
