This is only in Variant and is intentionally, so the user can easily right click the video to change the source. Once exported out of Variant – the embed will behave as normal

Hi, and good question. In this case, our CSS is set up so that those with ‘Helvetica Neue’ in their system (every Mac user) will see Helvetica Neue, and those that don’t will fall back to Helvetica (if they have it) , then ‘Arimo’ (a close web font alternative), then Arial.

Here is the CSS in font-helvetica.css:

h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6{ font-family: “Helvetica Neue”, Helvetica, ‘Arimo’, Arial, sans-serif; }

body{ font-family: “Helvetica Neue”, Helvetica,’Arimo’, Arial, sans-serif; }

No, it is due to javascript positioning when the page finishes loading. When the page loading animation is in place, you would not see this, but in order to show a more active load sequence we opted ot remove the page load animation, which reveals that header moving into place.

This would be functionality you’d need to build in yourself. Alternatively you could mimic the input styling by adding ‘select’ to the list of selectors beside ‘input[type=”text”] in the css.

You can use Variant to build HTML pages only, it will generate the HTML code based on the blocks you select, and the content you edit. There is no integration with CK editor.

I guess more so, is one a more complete set of features than the other or is it just styling differences.

Essentially, they are just a different style. Pivot has slightly more block variations that Machine – Machine is a little more singular in its look. But yes, you’re right.

Hey Patty,

The .variant file is only for use in Variant. You can export as .variant, then reimport later if you wish to make changes. The HTML file should open directly inside dreamweaver as any normal HTML document does.

I’m not 100% sure what you mean by manually attaching the CSS files to the HTML files – I assume you mean you included them in the head using ‘link’ tags? Although, that’s already done in the template so I’m not quite sure if I’m on the right track.

Hello, it looks like in your case you will need to add a line to set the timezone as it must not be set automatically in your server settings.

You will need to open mail/mail.php and add date_default_timezone_set(”...your timezone…”); to the top of the mail.php file below the first line. (after < ? php )
