Purchased today and I am impressed with how easy it is to drop in and play with the many building blocks. I do have some questions and I would invite anyone to answer so I can do my work asap (thanks in advance! – I did read the help file for variant)
1. How can I select a text block and make the selected text a link? Do I have to do that using HTML once the HTML is generated?
2. Are there no blocks at all that give a numbered list? Why not? Is there an easy way to make a numbered or unordered list using variant?
3. Why would my footer (saved) be white on the first page I created and then when using that saved footer for my next page it became a light gray? FRUSTRATING! 
It is still fun to play with this but it does look like it will take a lot of work in the code to finish it off unless I am missing something (I probably am – I hope!)

Ugh – I also wish the regular link css for body text was not tied into the navigation system. I understand not having the nav bar use underlining for the links, but for body text links it would be nice to not use the same css. More work…
1 – Yes this needs to be done outside Variant after exporting HTML 2- No, there are no umbered list blocks in Pivot, we’ll consider adding some as we update the item. 3 – The footer colour is set to alternate from the previous block’s colour so it is offset and easily distinguishable. 4 – Link colour is a design choice that you are free to edit using the custom.css file if you wish.

I do understand I can change the link color, but I think if possible, it would be a good idea to separate the navigation css links from the body links since the navigation is so specialized. I hope you can throw in some pages with ordered and unordered lists. Thanks for such a time saving template.

There is no date set yet I’m sorry. We will endeavour to make as little impact on existing pages but sometimes it is necessary to change things in order to improve.

Hello! Question before purchase: Is it possible to “float” the menu while scrolling, no matter the size of the browser and for mobile formats? Currently, it only floats on certain browser widths, and then it no longer floats beyond a certain point. I purchased your “Meetup” template (which is super awesome!), and the Meetup nav bar floats no matter the screen width. Thank you very much!

inside a media query, and place this inside custom.css although on some mobile devices, fixed positioning can tend to be a little wacky, hence we chose to use absolute positioning instead

Has anyone had issue using Google tag manager with this? I used the builder to build a page and have had major problems getting GTM to work: https://www.daydreamwebsites.com.au/services/responsive-landing-page-v2.html Next I’ll try not using the builder tool and just manually updating one of the index pages and see if that works. Any help would be appreciated though as it would save me alot of time

I would reccomend Launchkit for marketing purposes. I wouldn’t recomend Google Drive for hosting – there is no PHP for mail (which I’m guessing you’ll want for marketing purposes)

i am not a coder or a programmer but it seems your page builder and templates look pretty cool. ANd i am deciding if it has all i Need for my Website. (Several Events a year online bookable with an Option to Register an account to get a Membership)
my question is : is there an Option if i buy This Template to let my clients create their own account so that they can Register create and become a member with Options to get a Membership on my Website? And if so. would this Programm/template have the Software already for These Actions so that i dont have to buy extra Software or plug ins?

Apologies for the delayed reply to your question.
The simple answer is no, there is no functionality for a client to register to create their own page. This isn’t really the intended purpose for Variant, what you’re referring to sounds more like a site building SaaS.
