I like the new back and previous button on the single portfolio page, but they seem to be in the reverse order. What shows up on the right in the portfolio page is the item on the left in the single page. Not a big deal, but should probably be fixed. Looking forward to the template selection fix for WP 3 .4 with the next build. Thanks again for a great theme.

Hi, cannot seem to get Crop Mode for latest projects to work. I enter in a width and height in pixels, and make sure disable crop mode is unchecked- save settings and nothing happens. I am trying to get the latest projects to crop in a square.
Also, on the crop mode for blog page, there are no fields to enter in any numbers. Am I missing something.As usual thanks for all the help on this killer theme.

1-) Make sure you are entering only integer values (without px word)
2-) You need to re upload the featured image if you define a new cropping dimension later. And we will add support for dimension in the blog pages image, thanks for the feedback.
Hi, i was only using numbers, no px. The problem was indeed that I needed to re-up the featured image and that worked. Does the image get cropped when adding it to the media library initially, or only when I choose and image from the media library to use as a featured image? Thanks for the fix.

Question:
I’m trying to change the hover style for the next & previous links in the single portfolio page view. Currently it’s that navy blue color.
If I try to use this,
a:hover { background-color:#333333; color: #ffffff; }
That of course changes the hover style for the portfolio category types & the mouseover for the portfolio list images and even the top nav menu items.
Is there a class I can use that is specific to those previous, next links? Not seeing it when using Firebug.

Basically there should be a variable price appear when you select the quantity variable on this page: http://www.vivadigital.net/shop/lite-business-cards/But when you select your variable the price doesn’t show. We have tested it on a standard WP theme and it works fine, so it must be a problem with the theme.
Do you know what is causing this problem? It is quite vital that this function works correctly. Please help.

Hi, i guess you are using a plugin for this functionality, we havent tested the theme with all plugins available, at first you can contact to the plugins author about the issue, and if it turns out that the theme has a flaw we can try to fix it.

Yes it is for e-commerce functionality. It is a fairly common e-commerce plug-in, so you may have other users with the same problem. I have been speaking with WooCommerce, the author of the theme, they have done some testing and identified that the theme is causing the problem. I tested it myself by switching to another theme and the problem was fixed.
It looks like it might be some sort of JavaScript problem, as when you select the quantity a price should be generated underneath.

Hi, I just updated to v2.2 (have not updated to Wordpress 3.4 yet) and all of my portfolio items get the 404 error when you click on them. They show up on the portfolio page, and on the homepage “Latest Projects area” but get the 404 error when trying to go to the individual portfolio page. I tried deleting the portfolio items and creating new ones, and the same thing happens. I would like to solve this as I have over 100 items and would not like to recreate each portfolio item after every update. Thanks for the help.
Just discovered that if I delete the actual main portfolio page, delete it from the menu and then make a new portfolio page and add it back to the menu, all my portfolio items work again. Don’t really understand why that worked but it did. Happy to see that portfolio items are now aligned and using custom description in the sidebar. Thanks
Hi, we have made portfolio url dynamic in the previous updates. It seems like it causes 404 error on some servers. We have made the portfolio url static again in v2.3 which will be out today, with wp 3.4 support.

I forgot to mention earlier that I am using WP 3 .4, I updated the template definition on top of the homepage.php and other templates and now page template box appeared.
Actually, I put the template defintion along with the slashes and asterik in a new line. So the definition of the template definition now appears in three lines along with php tags. First line: php start | Second Line: template name | Third line: php end.
Please confirm if this is a right fix for WP 3 .4

With the new version of WP 3 .4 the option to choose template in the page attributes is missing and I can’t create new pages with attribute (contact, home…) Is it only me or is it general? If it’s general, Do you know when you will have a version to fix it?... As you said in another comment: clients!

Hi again, i know this can be a really stupid question, but i am having troubles adding the “services” part.. i mean, i could personalize portfolio and clients, but i cannot find the “widget” (not even sure that’s a widget) for SERVICES (you know i wanna add the 4 columns + little “wordpress” icon / “computer” icon / “SEO” icon etc. Sorry i know my english sucks, i hope that you’ll understand anyway!

2-) there is a shortcode for services,
3-) here is the shortcode:
4-) go to wp admin > pages, find your homepage and click edit link then copy paste this shortcode to the text editor, finally update the page.

Just a couple of questions that will allow me to teak the theme a little bit:
1. Is there a way to exclude the front page slider from the media queries for view on iPhone—I take it that I would have to customise the media queries for this. Can you possible assist? 2. Is there a way to style the form a bit better on our contact us page? I am using contact form 7 for the form. —> Contact us page located @ http://thirdrail.co.za/contact-us

1-) I didnt really get what you are trying to do with slider. Flexslider is a responsive slider and adapts itselfs to any device, it uses mostly css fluid layout features not many things handled via media queries.
2-) You can add the custom css code below to have the contact form much nicer;
.wpcf7 textarea { display:block; }
and you can add the class “btn” to the submit button at the bottom.

1) I do understand that the slider is responsive - this is not the problem though. I would like to exclude the whole frontpage slider from the iPhone view. If you visit our site on Mobile (not iPad), the slider is responsive, but not very useful for us. I would rather not have it appear on the iPhone view. Hope this helps. There is nothing wrong with the slider - it is just our specific case.
2) I have tried inserting the CSS in the responsy custom css, but it has no effect on the contact form. Maybe something form specific or am I doing something wrong?

v2.1, getting 404 errors for EVERY portfolio post, before and after update (2.0 > 2.1), even after trashing and restarting. Any ideas? I’d be happy to make you a temporary user
