I am having the same issue as posted here two months ago. With the theme installed, there is a critical error in loading the site. And the only ability I have to access the WP dashboard is by manually deactivating the root folder for Showcase in FTP explorer. Please address. Thank you!

Hi, after update to WP 6.2.2, Showcase logs this error when opening the url for an article page:

Please make sure to update the Showcase plugin as well once you update the theme. They both need to be 1.3.5

There seems to be the issue with WP 6.2 compatibility We will publish an update in next 24 hours.
In the meantime, you can remove the following lines from functions.php (lines 31 and 32)
add_filter( 'wp_video_shortcode_library', 'boldthemes_wp_video_shortcode_library' ); add_filter( 'wp_audio_shortcode_library', 'boldthemes_wp_audio_shortcode_library' );
And it should resolve the issue.

A customer asks how to translate the “Looking for” string for the search box. It seems not i18ed … any guesses?

If you take a look at the provided theme .pot file, you will find the Looking for… label on line 750.
Indeed, in functions.php, there is the following statement:
<input type="text" name="s" placeholder="' . esc_attr( esc_html__( 'Looking for...', 'showcase' ) ) . '" class="untouched">
So, you should be able to translate the label using the provided theme.pot file and using standard solutions (poedit or translation plugins)

1- Stop looping the slides i.e. stop scrolling on last slide because currently scrolling down on last slide takes back to slide one. 2- How to add a fixed footer to the slides.

Hi, I can’t set mobile off-canvas menu like demo 2. Off-canvas is not shown but desktop menu show instead it. Problem found on mobile chrome browser, also mozilla desktop version via firebug mobile simulation.

Hi, I updated your plugin(s) and updated wordpress to 5.5 yesterday and now all the Font Awesome Icons have disappeared i.e no longer displaying on the published website, from your Buttons and Service Moduals etc. Even i i create a new page and add a SERVICE and and a Font Awesome Icon, the icon does not display. Just an empty box.

Keep in mind that you should not do an import on top of the existing site – all kinds of issues can occur.
We suggest that you create a separate blank WordPress instance (locally or in your hosting environment), import the desired demo there and then use page builder’s clipboard functions to transfer the content from one site to another.

The page speed results are related to many factors, including the ones not directly tied to the theme – the settings applied to caching plugin, optimization of images, hosting server, usage of CDN etc etc etc…
So we can not give you the definite answer – it really depends on how you are skilled in juggling different aspects involved. We have seen miraculously good results, but we have also seen ridiculously bad results on production sites made with our themes.

Hi, is there a way we can mix/match sections between demos/themes? When I use BT Import to import content, it removes all previous pages. I’d like to use the slider with the creative or business office theme but can’t even copy/paste because pages are removed. Thanks,

In order to mix the demos you need to import the demos into different sites of WP multisite instance and then use clipboard features of the builder or some other method.
