I’m having an issue with the theme on my website. I have different pages on my website. When I use other themes, the pages work fine but when I use the Skrollex which is a child of layer other pages redirect to the homepage. I installed Elementor to create a new page but got an error message. link to the website (https://twinwaterslagos.com)
The theme has not been tested with Elementor, but you can create additional pages in the standard editor and in the Layers editor – it is tested and works fine.
How can we limit the number of portfolio itens on the homepage?
Portfolio items is columns in SX Section. You can delete or add columns.
I mean, we want to “delete” the “all” section, and show only the subsections, how can we do that please? Because we will have a total of 45 differente portfolio itens, so we do not want to have the “ALL” section on. Thanks!
If you mean that you should not display all elements by default, then this is not supported in SX Sections. But you can use WordPress plugins for portfolio.
So it is not possible not to show only the “all” category? And which plugin would you recommend please that would work with this theme? Thanks
If I understand you correctly, it is not possible. The theme is not tested with third-party plugins, but plugins that work as shortcode should work fine in Layers pages, and plugins that work as block should work fine in pages created with the standard WordPress editor. In Skrollex, you can create pages in both ways.

Yes. Because by default the All section is displayed, but you can remove all filters, then everything will be displayed in one section without filters.
But that is exactly what we do not want, we want show for example as default any category, but the “all” is the only we do not want to show, the reason, is because we have 40 differente portfolio and the page will be too big showing all as default.
SX Section does not allow this, but you can use plugins for portfolio.

The menu is edited in the WordPress admin interface like in all classic WordPress themes. This is described in the WordPress manuals.
To edit the footer, open “Appearance / Customize / Edit Layout / Footer 1” in the admin interface.

Skrollex has not been tested with this plugin. But keep in mind that in the theme, you can create pages using the Layers editor or using the standard WordPress block editor. The Layers editor has a problem. If you create many pages on one site using the Layers editor, the editor may work slowly. It is better to create a large number of pages in the standard WordPress editor. Moreover, the Layers editor can slow down even if you have many Layers pages in the trash or they are not used. Try deleting all unnecessary Layers pages and empty trash, this may help.

hello, I am using bandsintown for artist widget with custom generated HTML code. In the html code certain buttons are hidden. when I preview the page all is nice and hidden. When i save it and then display the buttons are not hidden. Can you help me this this?

no it is not fixed. it is supposed to be hidden .the track link, request a show is supposed to be hidden . it is hidden in the html code and when i preview it – its still hidden. then when i save the page you can see its visible
How is it hidden? It is not hidden in the code. The problem may be related to caching. Try disabling caching or deactivating all plugins.

Incognito mode will not affect the display if the page is cached on your server. Try disabling third-party plugins that can cache the page, including plugins designed to optimize pages.
The parameters you showed in the screenshot are somehow interpreted by the plugin code. I don’t know how this plugin works, but of course you can hide any element using custom CSS. Sorry for the delay in replying. Initially, background videos were not supported on mobile devices. At the request of users, I tried to add support for video files hosted on own server, but this does not work correctly in all browsers due to browsers limitations. Therefore I recommend using YouTube videos and setting an alternative image for mobile browsers. In this configuration, an alternative image will be displayed on all mobile devices.

Hi, I recently purchased the Skrollex theme based on the advertised features. However, after purchase, I discovered that key functionalities like the blog, menu, and even the ability to hide items are locked and require an additional $59 for Layers Pro. This brings the total cost to nearly 150 AUD, which seems excessive for a single-page theme.
I have a few concerns:
1. Why is this theme priced so high when it has such limited features?
2. Even after purchasing Layers Pro, are there additional features that remain locked, requiring further payment?
3. In the help section, it’s mentioned that this theme is not tested with Layers Pro. Why is an additional $59 being charged for a feature that hasn’t been verified to work with the theme?

Skrollex does not require Layers Pro, the theme has not been tested with this extension and does not support it. All declared functions are implemented in the theme itself. The Layers Pro ad was not inserted by me, but by the developers of the free version of Layers, I do not recommend using it.
when I click on customize button to edit the page, it opens and I can do some minor customization, but many features for example having access and customizing the Blog page (which is a very important page of the theme), if say unlock with Layers pro.
and very simple question:
1. How can I customize the Page “Blog”?
2. How can I delete or hide “sections” (not widgets)?
3. How can I customize the main menu?
4. How can I use these features that are locked and asking for Layers Pro?
I can send screenshots if would like to see. please advise and explain with some details, so the Blog page can get customized.

If the page is created from a preset, then the section is the SX Section widget. You can also create pages in the standard WordPress block editor, then the sections will be WordPress blocks.
Blog Layout is created using widgets and is edited in the same way as widgets of regular pages. To do this, you need to open “Customize / Appearance / Edit Layout” in the admin panel and then go to any blog page. On the left sidebar in Customizer you will see the layout widgets

The theme does not support this feature. There may be some plugins that can do this, but it will most likely require some customization work to make it look good.

I can’t see this page in the browser and it’s hard to tell from the screenshot why the image isn’t displayed full width. Most likely, either the paddings are set somehow, or there are empty columns on the left and right, or the image isn’t set to 100% width.

I am not an expert in this plugin, it is best to read its documentation. Any theme has limitations. When the theme’s features are not enough, you can use plugins from the WordPress repository. This one or another.
I recommended this plugin as an example only because I used it myself before and I know that it allows you to easily and very flexibly change the page layout in cases where something is not supported by the theme and most likely you can do most of the things you are asking about in it.
But keep in mind that the theme is not tested with this or other plugins and I can not guarantee that any of them always work correctly. In most cases, the plugins work fine.

Depends on how the image is inserted. Most often, images are scaled automatically. However, if the image is inserted as a section background, it will be scaled to overlap the section and therefore will almost always be cropped either left and right or bottom and top, depending on the aspect ratio of the section. Therefore, for the background you should use only such images that can be cropped in any way. For example, textures.

Keep in mind that the theme uses the FontAwesome version, which is included in the Layers. It is not latest version, so some icons may not be supported, but you can install the latest version of FontAwesome using WordPress plugins.
Hey x40. I’m getting a new error when I try to alter the colors on the site. It hasn’t done this before. After I change (Skrollex) colors and click Save, it tells me “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” and does not save my new color scheme. Thoughts? Thank you!
Most likely, you do not have permissions to edit theme files. It is easy to check. If you have such permissions, you should see the ‘Appearance / Theme Editor’ section in the admin interface. If you do not see it, then you cannot edit theme files. These permissions may have been disabled by some plugin. Keep in mind that even if such a plugin was deactivated, the permissions may not have been restored. They can be restored by the same plugin or a similar plugin or by editing a record in the WordPress database as described in the WordPress documentation.
