“Scroll Down” and “To Top” can be changed in: Customize / Site Settings / Appearance

If you want to use some other fonts, you need to use third-party plugins. If you need customization that is not supported by the theme, you can use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/yellow-pencil-visual-theme-customizer/ With it, you can connect third-party fonts uploaded to the server or loaded from CDN, for this you need to read the documentation from the developer or supplier of the font.

Which button does not work correctly? The method I gave above allows you to create a link to any domain. You have non-working buttons in the top section of the page, but they do not contain the domain in the links. Try disabling caching or all plugins if you specified the domain in the editor, but the button still does not work.

On your site this link refers to ”#”. If you see a different address in the editor, then it may be related to caching settings. Try disabling caching plugins or all plugins except Skrollex Extension.
I disabled caching plugins. It still opened a new tab and opened the same homepage. I do use some of the other plugins that I have installed. Do I still need to disable them just for this to work?
I also cleared cache in server settings on wordpress and opened the site in an incognito window to test after i deleted the cache plugins

There is some problem with Linecons icon set in Safari. I can only advise replacing these icons with Font Awesome icon set, they are displayed normally.

I just updated the “Skrollex” theme, in its version 2.10, on a development environment in PHP 8.0 (I also tested 8.1, 8.2 and 8.3).
Unfortunately the home page no longer works on the public side:

Skrollex tested on latest versions PHP and works. On my demo website PHP 8.3.
Most likely, the problem is related to the site settings. If you have Debug Mode enabled, you should disable the display of messages in the browser, as they will break the layout or disable Debug Mode. Also try disabling all plugins, especially caching and optimization plugins.
The problem may be related to a failure when saving the page, then the page can be restored by rolling back to the previous version using Revisions. To do this, open the page in the standard WordPres editor.
The cache module (“WP Rocket”) and security (“Wordfence Security”) have been disabled but that doesn’t change anything. I still don’t have access to the sections (via Appearance > Customize).
Make sure you have installed the latest version and the Layers version referenced in the current Skrollex documentation.

Look for Skrollex and Layers version numbers in your WordPress admin panel. Try disabling all plugins. If you have Debug Mode enabled in your WordPress config file, disable it too.

I disabled all modules but without any more success (I cannot access the sections configuration).
Do you see a white screen or any messages? Describe step by step what you are doing, where you click and what you see. There may have been a problem saving the page, then you can roll back to the previous version using Revisions or you have some problems on the server, then you can see error messages in the server logs if error logging is enabled.
No white screen or other issus, I just don’t have the tab to customize the home page that appears. On vacation today, I’ll get back to you when I get back from Monday, November 25.
I’m here to report a problem that persists.
I click on ‘customize’, from ‘Pages Layers’, the page loads but without the ‘Modify appearance’ tab which should allow the sections to be modified.
It’s not a question of ‘revising’ this page because it works in PHP 7.4 (the production site), where I do have the ‘Modify appearance’ tab.

Make sure that the admin panel shows you the Layers 2.0.10.fixed version, as it happens that more than one version is installed at the same time and the wrong one is activated.
Also try disabling all plugins.
I looked at the previous conversation. It looks like you’ve already done this.
Then try creating a new page. If it works correctly, then there’s some problem with your page. In this case, check the errors in the browser console.
There may also be some problem with the access from editor to the server. This can also be seen in the error messages in the browser console. To see browser console in Chrome, press Command+Option+J (Mac) or Control+Shift+J (Windows)

It looks like you have some invalid HTML in the page. Try opening it in the standard editor and rollback to a previous version using Revisions in the right panel.

I was also referring to the column Icon Class. That starts with “li_” in a column of the page
If you get error 404 it is means that the page is not on your server. Perhaps you deleted it or did not create it.
li – these are icons from the Linecons pack. You can see them on the second link I gave you above.

You need to create a menu and check the Header Menu box in the Display Location section. This is done in the standard way as in other WordPress themes in the admin panel in the Appearance / Menu.

The menu automatically collapses into a burger on mobile devices. If you see two identical menus, then most likely you have the same menu or two identical menus set in the menu settings as Header Menu and Extended Menu. Menus are configured in the standard WordPress way in the admin panel.

Hi really love the esthetic of this SKROLLEX theme. When making a gallery as described in your documentation video, is there a way to make clicking on one of the tiles open up an external link instead of popping up the overlay? some kind of shortcode maybe? thanks
The theme itself only supports the behavior as in the demo, for this you can use third-party plugins for galleries. Keep in mind that in the theme you can create pages both in the Layers editor and in the standard WordPress block editor. Plugins that allow you to display galleries using shortcodes will work in any page, plugins that display galleries using blocks will only work in pages created in standard editors. Many plugins allow you to use both methods.
thanks for the response. So I assume the shortcode just gets dropped into the Lead Content. field of an SX Section? Is there a plugin that you might recommend? Also are you actually in Woburn?
The theme has not been tested with such plugins, I cannot give a recommendation. I’m in Kobuleti.

its been 2 days and still no response. I have no problem renewing the support. Thought you would be able to just answer a question since I had it before and only used it once. I have no problem purchasing the support again but I need to know if I will get an answer after purchasing it. Just don’t want to purchase it if I’m not going to get a reply. If nothing breaks when editing and you don’t get any error messages, but then you just don’t see the changes you made in the front-end, this could be for two reasons 1) Server caching 2) Server error.
Try disabling caching or changing caching settings. Try disabling all plugins or at least all plugins for site optimization.
If this doesn’t help, then you need to look for the reason in the server logs. Ask your hosting provider where to look for server error logs and make sure that error logs are enabled.

The theme does not support Layers Pro. The theme has its own advanced features and is not incompatible with this extension. The link was installed by the developers of the free version of Layers.

Class names on the icon set website. But keep in mind that by default the theme does not use the latest version of FontAwesome. If the icons you need are missing, you can try installing the latest version using the WordPress plugin.
Images are usually scaled automatically, but it may depend on the context. Please provide a link to the page so I can see the problem.
My logo that is in the middle, is Exotic Auto Trade. I would like that to be bigger on desktops and proportionate on mobile. Honestly proportionate on any screen

I’ve checked your website and noticed it is isn’t working properly, so I’ve investigated the cause and the problem was produced because of the automatic PHP version update that we are gradually performing for all websites on all our servers. Due to this automated changed, the PHP version of your website was set to PHP 8.2 (from PHP 7.4), but it looks like your website’s theme is not fully compatible with the new PHP version.
I’ve reverted the PHP version to PHP 7.4 for you from your Site Tools -> Devs -> PHP Version and now the website appears to be working normally again.
PHP 7.4 is quite old and support for it ended on November 28, 2022. PHP 8.2 provides many optimizations, including performance and security ones and thus it is recommended to start using this PHP version as soon as possible.
My recommendation is to contact the developers of the theme and ask them to provide you with an upgrade package of the theme, one that will make it compatible with PHP 8.2 and after you apply it – change the PHP version for your website back to PHP 8.2 from your Site Tools.
Please verify the functionality of your website on your end and inform us if you notice any problems.

Skrollex is tested and compatible with the latest versions of PHP. My demo site currently has PHP 8.3.7 installed and the theme works ok. Previously it worked fine on PHP 8.2 as well. Please describe issue in more details.
