Hello,
I’m wondering if the Squarebox theme is compatible with Wordpress 4.8? I am using the theme for about 2 years, but I don’t think I saw any theme updates? Just wondering if I can upgrade my site safely to Wordpress 4.8, thank you!

Sorry, it is not tested against all the latest browsers, it may support them.
Purchased the theme yesterday but the first hero image slide does not automatically progress after 5 seconds. If I manually click the next/previous buttons, then the slide show progresses automatically.
I am using Google Chrome browser.

Hi. I am working with your template. Can you tell me how to activate the Contact form to send email to a specified email address? I can’t seem to find the right thing to put the email address into.

I updated the php script with an email in the $to field. That doesn’t seem to work. PHP is functional on the site. I’m using Apple Mail Client for emails on the machine. The Server is using Mac OSx Yosemite and Apache Web Server. Any other suggestions?

Hi, I was interested in purchasing squarebox, however, I would like to know more about the loading time for the web.
I have tried the preview from PC and iOS and the loading time for most of the subpages is longer than expected. Maybe it has happened just to me but I was wondering if you notice that too? If that is the case, do you have plans to optimise it?

I think the live preview site is fast enough, and I didn’t do any optimzation to it, though lots of optimzation techniques can be applied there.
Performance issues can be caused by several factors, so I just leave it to the user to choose what to optimize or not to optimize at all, but in my opinion, most of the time, optimization is not needed.

Hi, the logo image is not scaling correctly. My logo is 300px wide. When I open the site on a smartphone, the logo becomes very very small.
You can delete the code in the last but two line in the file assets/stylesheets/standalone/style.css

You could navigate to Appearance > Theme Options > General, there is an area for email address.

Hi there, can you tell me if this theme is suitable high retina displays, eg on the latest iPads?

Most of the design elements support retina display, you have to use the high-res images to make it fully supported.
