I was wondering if this theme came with any kind of attribution feature on the posts?
What kind of attributes you want?
Well I basically want to set up a blog page using the 3 column grid layout. Each tile will contain elements of an article to an external source, i.e NY Times. But I want each one of those tiles to contain the headline, the photo and then the source and the whole tile is a link to the actual source. Perhaps content curation may be a better term?
If you want to link title to another source then you can use Link post format but that don’t have featured image. You can check in demo.
Can I change the link to the featured images? IN other words, the featured image, when clicked, goes to the full post. Can I change where that link goes easily?
No, without editing code it is not possible to change the link of featured images.

Child themes are available with all themes here, these are for making any custom changes to theme
Oh ok, so if I need to make changes to the code, I would need to make sure that the child theme is activated?
If you make code changes to child theme you will not loose changes when you update the theme.

Hi! I like the Views that show under each of my blog titles. If I update my post in anyway; change the text, categories, SEO, images, etc, will those views get erased? I have some editing to do on posts and many of them have 250+ views and I don’t want that to go away because I think it helps my blog.

Just bought the theme. I would like to know if there’s a way to set the size of the left and right sidebars? This was the feature that made me buy this theme and kinda disappointed to see that sidebars (left and right) can’t be resized. I would like the left sidebar to be wide enough to accommodate 300px wide banner and the right sidebar to to be wide enough to accommodate 120px wide banner. Is there a way to do so?

I checked your URL and you activated 2 column layout there.
I set it back to 2 column layout because it looked terrible with 3 columns … the banners overlapped the content column. I thought that I’d wait for you to send me the custom code to resize the banner before I give the 3 columns another try. I am also having a bunch of other issues with this theme. Would you like me to open a new thread for each of the problems or continue the conversation in this same thread?

For sidebars you can try adding the following code in Theme Options -> Custom CSS
.sidebar-small { width: 26.1%; }
.home-content-area { width: 45.7%; }

it does not work. The layout breaks down. ON 1600×900 screen resolution the right hand side column moves below the content column… and on 1024×768 screen resolution … all of the columns overlap each other… I have left the code on for you to see but the site is live and real people visit it throughout the day…

It is custom work mate. I didn’t write anywhere that you can change size of sidebars or content. Screenshots of options panel and all layouts are also shown in demo. Nothing is hidden.
I still helped you so you become satisfied. The code I gave you also works fine here. If you are still not satisfied then I’m sorry to you. But I can’t offer custom work for free.

The site is live and I can not leave a messed up layout for you to see … specially when I don’t know how long it will take you to get a look at the site and get back to me … I have mailed you two different screen shots of different screen resolutions showing that the site layout breaks down with two sidebars … even without the “custom” css code that you sent me.

Bought the template because you said you came with all the contents of the demo. Where’s Theme Option / Import. Where the slideshow? I imported the sql but it is not 100% same!

That is not SQL, I provided xml file of WordPress import format. Using that file all the content of demo is imported. If you want theme options panel settings too then you can message me from my profile. I didn’t provide Theme Options settings because I am using default settings on demo. When you activate the theme you will get same Theme Options settings as demo.

I just wanted to how can I add the option of “like” post? I have been looking for some plugin but the buttons appear only “within” the particular post. I am looking for the possibility to “like” the post (without need of facebook login) while viewers browse through the posts..

I would like to update size of the picture displayed in homepage when it’s uploaded as “featured” in a standard post. By default picture is cropped / zoomed and user has to click on it to see it entirely. How can I do that ?

The size can be changed if you can edit the file. But you will lose the changes if you update the theme to new version in future. Or you can use child theme and define your own code to change the size.

Hello I have this theme and am using lots of the different functions.
The Quote posts are a real problem – using the featured image – makes them look terrible, I just want the quote to come up no image but if I dont use a image, it looks awful in the recent post scroll etc without anything there. the hide the featured post doest work neither does changig the colour of the quote background

The code of theme is edited. I can’t help with customised theme. You can install fresh theme again.

I set to 30, then an error occurs. The default is 40, then there is no problem.
Buddy I checked the source code of theme. Its totally edited. I can help you with errors in theme but if you edit the code yourself then I can’t help.
You might have added classes to your post and forgot to close one or you might have edited the code of theme. But the source code is different.
BTW I checked your theme again, I think you changed it now. It looks fine now.
I removed the old and added again, I do not know why they were damaged in the code, perhaps by migrations from Drupal.

When you create a new page, you will see Screen Options on top right corner. Click on it. Now click on Discussion check box. No go to bottom of page and uncheck Allow Comments.

I was curious how the “views” are being determined for my blog posts. What code is figuring out this number? It doesn’t seem to match up with what Google Analytics is telling me. Thanks!
It will not match with Google analytics. It increases the count upon page refresh. It is just the rough idea of views.
