Ok so I bought it to see if I could figure out my questions, any help would be appreciated.
Hi, this looks fantastic, I have a few questions and have read through the comments to find answers, but I can’t. (Or I am compleetly blind) So here goes, for the logo area, I know you can use an image, but if you use text, can the background be clear, or does it have to be black? If black, can you adjust how much opacity so you can see the text floating over the background image? Likewise the same question for the fly in text areas. Come to think of it, can you use graphics in those fly in areas instead of text? Can the opacity also be adjusted in the main content areas too? I am trying to go for a glass type feel.
PS: will buy if any of the above can be incorporated..
You can change the graphics through the custom stylesheet and customize colors, opacity and size from there.
+1 for the WordPress version here. Is there a release date? =)
How to define the background’s image with 100% width? Now some script adjust a large image where just show the center of it.
It’s designed to fill the whole area of the window. You might maybe tweak the size of the body so it doesn’t cut your images, maybe with some min-height value in the stylesheet.
Wow, I have bought many themes on Themeforest but never seen something that’s quite so beautiful, if you turn this into a Wordpress theme, your buyers will snap it up myself included.

I do not understand why something is shown which is not usable. It’s about the functioning blog. I’ve been trying to make me smart. the “include” method does not work, the “iframe” either. I do not know if it’s up to the template or wordpress. I have it in the wordpress folder saved as index.php – without success. I do not know exactly where I was on the “blog” site will include the “php script”, so it will reflect the wordpress content, as can be seen in the preview. in the preview looks good from the template – in practice, incomplete and frustrating. also found nothing in a template-based description. Perhaps there really support? wordpress is installed properly.
There is a simple explanation. This is not a Wordpress Theme.
Like any other HTML Template it is meant to be still integrated into a Content Managment System like for istance Wordpress or Joomla.
Some users don’t need blog functions or automatized things as they compile the site only once and publish it as-is. This kind of solution is perfect if you don’t need to update the site and allows you to benefit from faster loading times and more protected code against hackers and malware.
The Wordpress version of this Template is still under development and should be made available in the coming weeks. Feel free to follow me to be notified when it’s ready.
is it possible to create a link to an outside website within the template?
Sure, just add a target attribute set on “_blank” to your anchor tags.
Can you then tell me how to remove the fixed hader from the contact and project page so that my site is uniform. I just think it looks untidy with different header styles.

Comment it by adding two slashes right before. Save the file and minify it by adding a min suffix like the existing file. It shouldn’t hide the background with these changes.
It’s. not the same on ALL pages. On contact and projects it has a fixed header, I would like to maintain this effect through the remaining pages, if possible. I just can’t find where. When I viewd your preview I thought this was optional before I purchased, and that you were displaying different effects you could have.

Remove the audio tag. That’s it.

Unless you skip Ajax, the fading background is persistent and the same through all pages.

I’v tried to run the website without editing anything, but the pages won’t load in my IE 9 browser. It works fine in every other browser, am I missing something?

You need to edit it and put your own email address in the beginning. Save and upload it in the php folder. If your hosting supports php mail you should get the emails.
I edited my mail.php…but still get no mail…i get the error Whoops, it seems….
I host my Site on a windows V-Server with IIS …
So far I know IIS doesn’t support php. That’s why it doesn’t work. You should replace the script with one that is compatible with your hosting.

The blog is only the front end of what it could be. It will make sense once hooked with a content management system like wordpress. You can either omit it or integrate the code with a back end.
Now I’m testing it in IE8 and it works but look horrible… Logo is huge and text area at the bottom is very small (like 100-150px tall)...and thats just the homepage.
This template uses features provided by newer browsers and it might happen that it’s not quite the same in older versions of IE.
The scrolling falls back to native scrollbars, some animations are skipped and a few effects are just not supported. It works more or less. Though I’ll check again if there is something to be fixed.

Also, the contact page in explorer 9 shows only a very small section of the map…like maybe 150px total.
It sounds like you have a small resolution on your setup. That’s the minimum declared in the styles.css file, you can tweak it through the custom stylesheet for your needs.
I’ve noticed that the scroll feature for anyone without a scrolling touch pad or scrolling mouse is very difficult. Is there any way to correct this? The user has to click and drag up about an inch and then repeat.
I got a lot of mixed feedback about the scrolling. For these reason I included additional options to allow everybody to stick to a different kind of scrolling.
If you’d like to scroll the whole layout, set in the main div the data-globalscroll to true. Another option to swap the iScroll script with jScrollPane is data-iscroll located in the shell div which can be set to true for a traditional scrolling behavior.

I am interested in purchasing this but I am very curious to know more about the music player.
-first, you mention on a previous comment to hardcode so that music player stays visible and doesn’t autohide. Do you provide more instructions on that after purchasing? -Second, where does the music load from? From a mp3 or is it possible to link to sound cloud song?

The music player is based on audio.js and its behavior is managed through the net.flashedge.app javascript as it need to interface itself in some pages, like the portfolio page that detects other sensible areas and hides the music player whenever it’s not focused.
It loads mp3 files and uses a flash fallback for the browsers that don’t support html5 music playback for such files. I have no clue on how you could interface it with sound cloud.

Sure, if you strip out the footer music player it won’t initialize. Replace it as you wish.
Hi Flashedge, I’m having problems getting the youtube video to play. I tried pasting in the video ID, but only get the loader. Works fine on Vimeo vids.

YouTube videos should work fine as long you set them to be public from your dashboard.

The background is global unless you disable ajax and reset the behavior so it loads a new background for each page. To do so try adding a target attribute to the menu items you’d like to reset the background.
