Hi, I purchased the theme and did as the documentation instructed,problem is,by the time it was done installing,rather than viewing my site,i got a legion of errors. Please how do i resolve this so i can deliver to my client asap?

from the admin section,all i get are errors,I cant even view site or dashboard,but on a different browser,on the same WAMP,i can see the site if I do not log into admin. Please how do I resolve this?
Never mind,problem solved, i went to PATH TO DRIVE\mysql ,opened my, changed “max_allowed_packet” from “1m” to “16m”
saved my.ini restarted MySql through the WAMPP control panel. and the admin dashboard came up. I would notify you of any issues.
“PDO Exception: My SQL has gone away” is the problem with your database, not with the theme.

Background color can be changed via CSS. You don’t need a module for it. If you know CSS, you can change it under /sites/all/themes/velocity/css/global.css

“PDOException: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 2006 MySQL server has gone away” is the problem with your database.
The website cannot connect to your database and it generates that error. There is nothing wrong with the theme.

Hi symphonythemes, I am not very experienced with drupal even though I have launched a site with a drupal theme i purchased,I would like to purchase this theme for a client of mine whose company has subdiaries.My design would go well with the TB mega menu module to organise the sub-companies,my question is,is the Tb mega menu compatible with the velocity theme? Please reply as I am running out of time.I have been searching for a theme like this. Also,I do not have coding experience,I do hope I dont run into issues when I purchase. Please reply. Thank you

There is a lot packed into this theme, for an inexperienced designer it could be over whelming, but for an experienced designer, there is a little something already configured, for just about everything your client will need. This is a well designed theme, which includes a configured page editor.

Great Theme! Have some issues though. Installed the theme but I get a list of messages like Notice: “Undefined index: highlighted in include() (line 126 of /domains/pnaserver.nl/app3/modules/system/page.tpl.php)” Must have done something wrong, so any help is welcome. Thx
That’s a file in the Drupal core. I guess you have an corrupted zip file. Is your package 79.8M?

Hey, nice looking theme. I just downloaded it and when I install it I just get a 500 error once the installation is done. Im using MAMP on a mac and I can install Drupal core no problem just not the pre loaded theme. Any help would be appreciated.
Uhm, it may be a permission problem. Did you chown the velocity folder to an user with Apache permissions?

I have resolved the slow loading on my end. One of the MegaDrupal slides was trying to load files from ”/drupal7/velocity” but it was not found because I had my site installed to a different path. The “drupal7/velocity” is hard coded in the original sql. An sql rewrite fixes it.

A second purchase and install went off without a hitch. I just installed sql file before hand, then ran installation. Everything was happy
