1) The vulnerability check is an output from npm on INSTALL, not on start.

2) You’re package-lock.json file doesn’t reflect the actual package.json file. If I install directly with your package.json file, NPM WILL INSTALL ELECTRON. If I delete your package-lock.json file, it doesn’t anymore, for some reason you have “electron-to-chromium” in package.lock.

3) I’m on the latest node and npm version, your project simply doesn’t run with either yarn or npm, at least on Mac OS.

4) Try deleting your package-lock.json and reinstall again, and try it on a Linux or Mac machine because it won’t run. It even gave me same issue and vulnerability output in a Debian docker container.

I’m not gonna waste any more time on it. Oh and at least update your dependencies, because they’re all outdated, some of them already have security vulnerabilities and that’s why NPM is reporting them. Anyway, I won’t bother again with this template, I only bought it because it was going for $9.

You do not need to delete the package-lock.json. Electron package was used in babel for web-pack configuration. We tested it with npm and it is working and it is not compatible with yarn. In our documentation we mentioned NPM not Yarn. Also, we are going to update the dependencies in the next update. Thanks for your patience.
