Great theme, my favorite, congrats and thanks. One huge missing component is “Page menu” (Polo theme) or “Submenu” (Canvas theme).

we are using mesonary portfolio section in one page layout. currently what happened when we add images in different category and click on any one/single image then popup image – after this when we click side arrow then shows other picture from different category.
what we want is if i click any image and click left or side arrow then show picture from same category only ( currently shown mix picture from all category)

Hi,
I checked the templates. They look al good, but unfortunately you use almost everywhere background images that don’t adapt to any screen size of different resolution devices.
I’m talking about using <picture> <srcset> and foreground images that load the proper image for that current device and resolution instead of what you do. The templates will have problems with several high resolution devices (almost any tablet, phone and hi res monitors). The only solution is to implement huge images that always fit, but this is using unnecessary bandwidth and makes your design unusable and outdated. When you have 5k monitors (5120×2880 Pixels) and 8k coming soon now a days you have to design different.

And change the CSS according to the new picture element. Adjust the min-width to this design. For example min-width: 2000px instead of 1400px in the above example and go from there.

First of all, thank you for purchasing our item.
The sample you have given us is already in the container so no matter what your screen size is, it will display in the container width (1170px).
For other full-width backgrounds(with foreground content), we must use background-image as the content will reside in all the different screen sizes and with the use of background-image, the content will automatically adjust to any screen size.
So, if we use the foreground image method as you suggested, there will be the following consequences:
1. We must set a height to all the screen resolutions according to their foreground content height. And this is confusing for any developer. 2. The user needs to set 4 different size images for 4 different screen sizes which won’t be user-friendly at all. 3. If we use picture tag as you suggested for background image with foreground content on it, then we need to set content with position absolution and this is not user-friendly as well.
Instead of this method, we can use 1 simple background image for all devices which is super easy and responsive.
We agree with your suggestion but it will work under the following circumstances: 1. Custom work as we know what exactly clients requirements is. 2. Every user who uses this template must have deep knowledge about CSS changes and screen resolution size with media query use. So they can set height for every image for 4 different screens. As this is a multipurpose template, every new user has different requirements and we need to fulfill all client need in super easy methods.
Most of the client needs to purchase the template, edit text, update images and want their site to be ready. Nobody wants to do custom code.

It’s simply not true. Height can be taken care off with CSS or and JavaScript. It’s common modern web design already in use for years. To make it even more easy we use this: https://github.com/aFarkas/lazysizes as a solution. Also available for years now. No excuse to use bloated code solution to save work for your self. It is simply true. lazysizes has its limitation which you know very well. I don’t want to waste my time in this debate as Item is not just made from single so called bloated code. We need to target the large audience and you can read the reviews about the item.
we have invested a lot of efforts as this is not just a skill-based template rather than a content-based template. What this means that development which typically reinforces facts and basic skills from only about 25% of the overall effort. The remaining 75% efforts we need to put to the criteria such as investigating, analyzing, organizing, communicating, thinking critically, inquiring, designing, evaluating, applying the solution to the real world situation.
After that it become a successful template with not beautiful but interactive design and code.
