For anyone interested in this theme: I bought it and it has various error messages (two plugins don’t work), but support doesn’t respond. The refund took several weeks with many emails. Why the theme is still online, although the support from Korra is no longer working, is not understandable.
Hello the Instagram widget went down. The plugin is not available for download any more. What can I do?
I’m curious. Did you change the width of the sidebar in the latest update? It looks smaller and alternatively, the main content area looks wider than 1.4.3.
Hi Korra, was wondering if there are any lazy loading plugins that could work with this theme without messing up the UI. TIA! 
Also, not too if it’s a bug that happens only for me – I tried adding the “Blog Carousel” widget to the below page content area. It shows up partially on the home page and only shows up completely when I inspect element. Love the widget but can’t get it to show nicely.
Considering this theme but would like to know if it’s possible to add the option for an audio post? That is the only thing that is missing for me.

If you wish, you can purchase the theme to set it up and test it. If you find out that it doesn’t fit your needs, just submit a refund request and we will approve it no questions asked. Just make sure to do that from this account so we know it’s you

Thank you for the kind words! Generally Portfolio items are the same thing as regular posts. Could you elaborate what kind of Portfolio items you wish to display?
In Whyte theme, portfolio items can be created as regular posts and just tagged/categorized as ‘portfolio’. This will enabled you to create a custom page with portfolio items feed.

Hello! In editor i dont get the options in formats (dropcap, gradient heading etc), i just get the standard editing options, i installed the whyte shortcodes already. what am i doing wrong?

The editor formats are probably missing because you have Gutenberg editor enabled. In this case, you can use Classic Editor block to get the native Rich Text editor which has Whyte formats and elements added. Generally, if you plan to use most of the Whyte elements it is good idea to install the Classic Editor plugin which will give you the classic WordPress look instead of Gutenberg. While theme will work with Gutenberg enabled, it doesn’t have great user experience.

Hello, i dont use gutenberg and i have the classic editor installed. i dont understand why i dont get the elements like dropcap etc? What else could be the problem? Could you please have a look?

Although we have resolved everything via email, we will paste the response here as well for the reference:
You have multiple plugins installed that alter the Formating and editor’s toolbar. While Elements, Sideblock and FullWidth buttons are there and working, theme’s format changes have been overriden by one of these plugins. In order to use it, you should find which plugin is overriding it and disable that plugin.

The theme is great, everyday I like it more.. I have a question regarding the cover. When I add a video as a cover it duplicates in the content as well. How to avoid that knowing that I read the documentaion and did as written. Thanks

The video used as cover should be automatically excluded from the content to skip duplicates. We would have to look into the admin area and see what might cause this issue.

Hello Great theme! I’m using the affiliate program RewardStyle, but somehow it doesn’t work and won’t show it the right way. Neither in the posts nor at the Ad blocks. Is the theme not compatible with RewardStyle? Hope you can help me! Thank you!

We do not officially support RewardStyle, but there shouldn’t be a specific reason for it not to work. Have you tried disabling Ajax navigation in Customizer > General > Load pages with ajax ? This is the only possibility where third-party javascript wouldn’t work as expected with the theme.
If this hint doesn’t help, please share a link to your website with us, so we can jump in and check what’s going on.

Rich images can’t be placed in custom columns. You could use Gallery and display it as 3-columned masonry style. Captions can be used as well.

It’s a simple content added directly in the Page content. It uses the Sideblock feature. Essentially, just paste this HTML at the top of your pages html/text editor:

Since Latest Posts page (native WordPress homepage) doesn’t have custom content nor content widgets, this is only possible for the static pages. You should use static page as a homepage, and insert it there, it will be static.

You have inserted the Author content into the widget in “After content widget area”, which is not bound to center by the content container. Try using the whole sideblock content you have directly in the page, right at the start of your content would probably be most desirable.
