Theme looks great and I am thinking of purchasing.
Just wondering if you can add a custom logo to the centre of the feature page (on top of a video or image).
I guess this is possible judging by the HomeV4/scrolling page (which has a centred logo) but just wanted to confirm before purchasing.

Guessed right! Yes, you can add a custom logo at the centre of the feature element. HomeV4/scrolling page perfectly illustrates this, where instead of having a title you can add your custom logo.

Customizing this theme is such a nightmare, what kind of theme color customizer is this? I can’t edit anything without manually doing it via CSS which just happens to be much easier and more convenient than the build in theme customization options.
Really not liking this at all. I would suggest to others to be wary of such limited and undocumented options. I can’t even change the colors of the nav menu items? because the “Live Color Customizer” doesn’t show those options.
I want my money back. This is completely unacceptable. The reason I purchase themes on themeforest is so I don’t have to waste hours of time manually typing out CSS. To change the most basic of options.

Let’s clear something that seems to be nothing but a misunderstanding. With Osmosis you do not need a single line of CSS to change colors (as well as everything you can see on preview), and all these by using WP Live customizer. This short video tutorial illustrates this functionality: https://vimeo.com/114178784 . Hence, it’s not undocumented.
There seems to be a contradiction with 1K+ buyers thus far who haven’t encountered this kind of issue, are more than satisfied, and have praised the customizability of the theme. Even more than that, they have praised our dedicated support. Therefore, we invite you in our Support Forum to see what actually is the issue, to sort things out, and guide you through any problem you have; if you are still dissatisfied you can ask for your refund.

Well I ended up figuring it out. You should probably add this in your documentation but having “Admin Branding” plugin installed will render the live color customizer completely useless. Some reason all options related to color change just vanished from the screen until I disabled the plugin.
I did fix it. So everything is fine now. Thanks

Happy to see that you figured it out Good job! Sorting this out then must have revealed some very important points of how things really work in WP themes, yourself realized firsthand, but let’s highlight them for other users as well to be aware thereof:
1. It’s practically impossible for authors to control 3rd party plugins. Thnx for the tip to include every single conflict in the documentation, but due to numerous plugins generated every day and their constant modification, we made a call before writing documentation not to include this kind of info. Users are also responsible for the free plugins themselves acquire, add, and then find conflicts with the theme.
2. It is advisable to buyers who have issues with the item purchased to come straight to the support forum and sort them out before leap to public conclusions about its properties. It’s more productive and judgments are closer to the truth.
All in all, thank you for helping to increase awareness of these subtle issues concerning conflict with 3rd party plugins.

Great Theme. I am using this for my company site. I am having an issue with editing the newsletter widget that is at the bottom of each of my pages. Right now it just says “Email Address” and the button is “Sign Up”. Is there a way to edit this text? Thanks for all your help.

Thank you so much for using Osmosis and apologies for the delayed answer. Indeed, it was in our plans, but priorities have shifted and the centered-logo option had to take a back seat, at least for the short-term planning in features.

Presale Question: I love the theme but was wondering how much customization I would have for the navigation/mega menu. My client would like to have a title and short description in the dropdown for each item. Is that possible or should I look at a plugin to get that type of functionality? All the best.

The embedded menu of Osmosis does not offer such thing, but it is compatible with Uber menu http://codecanyon.net/item/ubermenu-wordpress-mega-menu-plugin/154703 in case you need something more advanced on the menu and you’re satisfied with Uber menu features.

Yes but this is a result of your wonderful work. I bought all the major themes here and yours is the Best, why? because None Bugs, Fluid, Fast, Highly Customizable, Valid html5 … With a cache plugin and only html minified, my site shows “99” on Pingdom (ok good hosting mutualized). Good luck!

More specifically, in the Portfolio Overview (Masonry in your case), you can set up the portfolio link you prefer (options: Portfolio Item, Custom Link, None) and insert the url link for your video to be loaded in the lightbox. I believe you are referring to a new taxonomy (custom post type). To be honest, we have not a new taxonomy in our future plans. On the other hand, we believe that the Portfolio itself may cover all your needs.
