Hi, What;s the best way to have a full screen background in wide mode with content on top? I now use a 100% Fusion container but can’t get the height to be full screen. Tnx.

Hello,

This is not possible at the moment with full width container. We will be adding this functionality in future.

Thanks!

Ok, tnx

No problem!

Hi I have a pre-sales question – please help!

I am interested in using your theme because it looks easy to use for my colleagues who do not know coding very well. However the big feature of the website I will be building will be galleries. I will need to create small grid galleries that can sit alongside text e.g. 1/3 = gallery, 2/3 = text. Do you include an easy widget or page builder element that can create something that can do this? It would need to be able to display images of a certain category as well.

Thanks

Hello,

You can use recent works builder element which is linked to Portfolio part of the theme. You can use category filters with recent works element.

Thanks!

I’ve recently started using the Fusion Page Builder and have fallen in love with it!!! I’m not sure if it’s written by you guys or a third party… but I’d love to be able to collapse and rename Full Width Containers to help clean up my work flow. Exactly like the triangle icon that lets you collapse the Fusion Page Options dialogue box at the bottom of the page.

Hello,

Yes, fusion page builder is built by us. We’re working towards improving FB for performance and UX.

You can add your ideas to http://ideas.theme-fusion.com for us to consider for our updates.

Thanks!

Cool! The fact that you guys actually respond to these kinds of requests is why I’ll never use another WP theme… EVER! :)

We are SUPER happy to answer every single question :) And we love to hear from our customer base, we help you and you help us!

Thanks!

Hi,

This is a pre sales question – I am considering the purchase of a Avada license for our agency web site. If we decide to buy the them what level of support comes with the them purchase? Is the support only via the Avada Support Forum. If we want to pay for additional ongoing support is that an option for us to consider?

Please let us know all the various options for Support for new and existing customers.

Thanking you in advance!

Hello,

For all our users, we provide a ticket based support which is dealt by our support team.

Right now, we don’t offer any other paid level of support.

If you have any questions, let me know.

Thanks!

fushion slider – animated loading icon, where to change color to e.g. red in css?

Hey,

.fusion-slider-loading is class name for fusion slider loading icon. You can edit it to change the color.

Thanks!

I can’t access theme-fusion web site for browsing demo content. Theme-fusion web site inaccessible many times.

Hello!

We don’t ban any IPs in general, so this is odd, but we will check into it to see, if we can do something here.

Thanks for letting us know.

Hello again! After some test, I’m %100 sure we cannot access your web page from Turkey. Please solve this issue. I need some demos for a new business opportunity with your themes.

We’re checking into it to see, nothing has changed on our end but this is now a few reports from people in your area, so something is going on.

H3 for non relevant content is bad for SEO

Regarding your reply to this comment (http://themeforest.net/item/avada-responsive-multipurpose-theme/2833226/comments?page=763#comment_10025607) i have to repeat that your actual theme-version IS NOT SEO optimized

You might not believe me but you should believe the developer of the most prominent SEO Plugin YOAST.

Yoast is saying this:

H2 is for subheadings of that H1. Use it to divide content into scannable blocks; both Google and your visitor will like it. H3 is for subheadings of that H2, preferably.
Another Quote of YOAST:
H3: Your recent posts, or, if those have an H2, this could be used for somewhat older posts. H4: related content in the sidebar, like the heading of an “about” widget. H5: Unrelated headings in your sidebar, footer, etc.

As you can see, I differentiate between “related” widgets and unrelated widgets. It’s no use at all to have an H3 heading saying “Our Sponsors”. An H4 HTML heading saying “About this SEO blog” could be useful though, if “SEO blog” is what you want to rank for.

Do you really think that “Last comments” is so important to make it a H3?

Do you really think that “Last posts” is so important to make it a H3?

and so on

That using Hx for widget headings is a bad idea is so well known since years that it makes me wonder how a theme still can use it.

If you want to make Avada a good Theme you should respect that and change that Hx-Nonsense to something that makes more sense – semantic, logical & in SEO

OK, lets not be sarcastic or ironic and keep it serious.

You are wrong and you seem like having no idea what the meaning of a header is.

And by the way, with all these “excuses” you at least say one thing…and that is “Yoast has no clue what he is talking about” But you have??

The sidebar is below the content in the sourcecode and that makes it even worse!!

Why dont you stop this embarrassment by just confirm that you were wrong ?

Why dont you just read a bit and hurry to fix that “minor problem” instead of showing your lack of knowlegde in SEO by trying to minimize to a “minor problem”

here is some lecture: https://yoast.com/headings-use/ https://yoast.com/blog-headings-structure/

and one more: There is NO NEED at all to make a header of a widget an Hx Not H1, Not H2, Not H3, Not H4…,.. Not even H6…...because it makes NO SENSE.

And if you need to cover a certain look, just give it a div or a span and use your CSS

There is i difference between optical markup and semantic markup.

You are coders – you should know the difference.

We will very much disagree with what you just stated. But we are not going to waste time going back and forth on this. Containing to post comments such as this on every available network (TF, FB, twitter, etc) is not helping anyone. We are not going to issue an update for such a minor thing. As already stated, you can also post a ticket with our team and they can provide this to you before you release. We will make any necessary adjustments to the theme in our next release once we check out the issue in full.

Thanks so much for your feedback :)

when will u launch the demos for AVADA law, hosting and hotels

Hello,

We don’t have a deadline right now. We’re still working on it and will be launching these in the next update.

Thanks!

Is there a way to change the HTML itself of an element? Say for example I want to add a number on the right side of the header menu, how would I achieve that?

Hello,

You can edit tempaltes/header.php to edit the source code for the header.

Thanks!

Excellent work! :)

Thank you very much :)

hi

is there a way to make email form sign a feature on the main landing page?

thanks

Hello!

While email signup is not coming with Avada natively, if you have a plugin for this that adds a shortcode or a widget then this shouldn’t be a problem.

We hope that helps.

ThemeFusion Team

Hey there,

is there a possibility to use (or can you implement it in Avada?) this kind of slider which shows up when pressing on “Add to Cart”? If so, how :)?

Best wishes!

http://www.coastalvintage.com.au/products/portholes-wheels-life-rings/blue-white-lifering/#cc-m-product-9626121452

Thank you Rockie for your feedback. We are actually looking forward to make these kind of changes in the next set of updates.

Thanks for this nice response, i promise you buying your theme when you have implemented that feature :)

best wishes!

Thank you, we’d love to have you!

Also to clarify, when you click add to cart it does show a loader and a graphic confirming it was added. then it shows in the top cart area. Maybe a slide down showing the item or the top cart dropdown activating would help also.

Thanks

http://theme-fusion.com/support/ does not work.. it is down for a couple of days…

Google Chrome could not load the webpage because theme-fusion.com took too long to respond. The website may be down, or you may be experiencing issues with your Internet connection.

Hello,

I’m sorry for the trouble. Our site is up and it looks people from Turkey are having problems connecting to it.

We’re talking to the hosting company for help. For support, you can email us directly from the contact form on this page -> http://themeforest.net/user/ThemeFusion

But if you can help us get to the bottom of this.

Please visit: http://theme-fusion.com/cdn-cgi/trace and reply us back with whatever that you get on the screen.

If that’s not working, please open command line or terminal (mac) and run the following command:

dig @jim.ns.cloudflare.com hostname.cloudflare ch txt +short What do you get for it?

Thanks!

i see. now it is working without proxy again. probably problem solved. thanks for your care.

Hello,

Yes, it looks like Turktelecom blocked our domain for an unknown reason.

Our DNS provider (cloudflare) was able to contact them and get it unblocked.

Thanks!

Hello we need to add a button into the header section. We use header #4 and we want to have the button instead of the search-form beside the tagline

Is it correct to edit the header.php??

Can you please tell us what line it is or (if its not header.php) what file i have to edit and how it can be done without loosing the child-functionality?

Thanx in advance

ADDITION

I realized that there is a option to generate an output for a banner. But i need something like “Tagline & Button” and it seems that is not possible to just output some HTML like two DIVs text and image , right?

SOLVED

Hello!

So is this all good for you now? :)

Hello we are currently looking for a suitable theme for our companywebsites (we need between 20 to 40 licences) and considered Avada.

BUT just now by chance (see last comment) we found out that Avada uses H3 for the headings of widgets and this is definitely not SEO friendly (in fact and proofable it has a negative impact on yoir websites SEO)

Thats why we need to know if there is a option to alter that or if you provide a solution / workaround.

Thank you very much Frank

Hello Frank!

We don’t see any reason why h3 headings should be affecting SEO badly.

But still, if you don’t like it, we have an own class controlling the widget setup. It is called class-avada-sidebars.php in Avada/includes folder and you can easily see the h3 tags there that can be changed. Those will take effect for all widget instances.

We hope you decide to join the largest theme community out there :)

ThemeFusion Team

Hello

two questions

1: How can we remove or disable the “next / prev” links wich is between title-bar and content? (we use a child theme)

2: Is it correct that there is actually no CSS class given in the CSS file to style the headings of widgets.

Example: <div class="heading"><h3 data-fontsize="13" data-lineheight="17">Last Posts</h3></div>

regards karl

Topic 1: SOLVED

Hello!

Yes that is the WordPress default output. Apart from it we add the .heading class around the titles to make it easier to target them. You can target all widget headings with .widget .heading h3 { #your-rules-here; }

Hello,

I am trying to use the magazine style demo pages however I am getting very strange results. I think my issue is the image sizes that are featured on the post slider at the top of Magazine style 1, Featured images maybe different sizes so I need this option to be fixed and crop if need be. Is this possible for these images, and I’m just missing these options?

Hello!

Yes that is the post slider and it pulls the full featured image dimensions you have uploaded to the posts. You could use custom CSS though to limit the image dimensions to something that fits for you:

.flexslider-posts-with-excerpt { max-width: 400px; }

We hope that helps.

ThemeFusion Team

Hmmm but on the demo you have 2 images different sizes what would be css that works for both?

Hello,

The post sliders are resized based the container’s width. The post slider on the top are wrapped in columns and the setup can be seen here:

http://cl.ly/image/061f3P1T2I2r

Regardless of image size (if they’re big enough), this will work correctly when set up inside the columns.

Thanks
