Is there a way to utilize the Blog Creative style of blogs and have it in an Ascend version of Salient? It’s a nice blog layout that would be really be nice to be able to use in general for any Salient style version. Keep me posted. Thank you

Hey – there’s a filed in the blog options tab in the Salient options panel called “Masonry Style”, both are available there to choose from
Is there a way to disable the text from showing over the image on the blog page? I’d prefer to just show the preview images on the main blog page and no text. Is there a feature to disable this or CSS you can provide me with? Thanks

The thumbnail on the main blog page before they click a block post image. So no text title or date – I would hope that is possible. Please send code if possible and perhaps have this as an option someday. I gotta hand it to you…your theme rocks big time.

i’m using the nectar slider and I would love to know if there is any way I can control the text overlay on the slides?
I want to position it in smaller text inside of a black box with an opacity of .4 and to have it sitting in the bottom right corner of my page.
how can I do this, I don’t seem to have much control over the text on the slides. I can obviously enter it in but I can’t move it around, change the size of the text etc. etc.

that would require some custom css for the slide – you can add a class onto the slide such as “custom-class” and then place this into the custom css box located in your Salient Options panel:
.custom-class .content {
background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.4);
padding: 20px;
}

I believe this question has been asked before but I wanted to see if I could get more clarification or maybe things have changed.
I have a Nectar Slider with buttons on each slide. I would like the buttons to link to specific slides WITHIN the same Nectar Slider. Is this possible? You answer to someone else was:
“As of now there would be no other way to do that other than to write some custom javascript within the nectar-slider.js file located in the JS folder unfortunately”
Any chance you could lead me in the right direction? There has to be a way to assign a url or tag of some sorts to a specific slide.

There’s really no code in place that would parse a hash in the URL to lead to desired slide – the modding would need to be done in the nectar-slider.js file and functions.php file where the content is generated (some new markup would need to be added)

My apologies, one last question for me: - On my site (http://neurosolution.ca/ or http://neurosolution.ca/en), the logo on the header is fine for the first two NectarSlider slides, but it loses transparency for the last two NectarSlider slides.. - I did verify the Header section in Salient’s theme, and the right files are in place for the “Header Starting Logo Upload” and “Header Starting Retina Logo Upload” sections (it works for the first two slides.
Any ideas? Thanks! Everyone’s loving the theme + site!

Hey as of now you’d need to add a portfolio item in the bottom of your page builder when editing the project, you could keep all the items in the same category as your current one as well

I was wondering if there was a CSS-code / function to make the single-portfolio item always have a certain layout? I’ve changed the background in div#page-header-bg and container-wrap. For now I just put it in the individual portfolio-item’s custom CSS. But I would like it did it automatically when I added a new.
Maybe you could also put that function in a future update? .. A “standard” layout for singe-portolio items, if background etc. hasn’t been picked.

Hi! I love your theme and used it for a client : The Smartfeed. One thing I did not think about, I purchased it through my Envato account and my client wants access to updates as well as reminders of updates herself. I have not come across this problem before and I do not want to re-purchase the theme since it was only intended to be licensed for her site. Is there anyway I could transfer the license to her own Envato account if we created one for her? That way she can get reminders for updates etc?

Hey man, I would like to know if its possible to change the font of the parallax sliders when making one and not sticking with the default one. For example this page: http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-frostwave/home-multi-layer-parallax/ Can you change the “This is Salient” to a custom font with another plugin or something. I am a future buyer by the way, and i really hope you can like change it through the settings in the fonts settings or something. I’m a bit new to wordpress.org so still learning. I had experience, from my old office, with your older version, where was integrated Visual Composer, but now I saw on some YT video, that is using WPBakery Visual Composer, but Im not sure, if all is the same like in past. I prefer older Visual Composer, which include also Nectar Slider block… Or in Salient is still your version of Visual Composer and if someone want, then can install new plugin – WPBakery Visual Composer? The current VC is separated into a plugin so it’s up to you whether you want to use it or not – you could also use the raw VC plugin if you have it

We’re having issues with Gravity Forms. As soon as we embed a form on a page, either the page’s content doesn’t render out or the Gravity Form doesn’t show in its entirety. You can see that here:
