Are there any known issues with your theme working with Revolution slider? I’ve spent at least 16 hours over the last two weeks trying to get revolution slider with html 5 video working using Salient theme… no luck. I have a background in web dev, though I’m not a true wordpress expert, so my “trying everything” is probably up a notch from typical users. I put a support ticket in with Revo and they haven’t been able to figure it out yet either.
When I switch themes to anything other than Salient, Rev works fine. I tried some other sliders (LayerSlider, and your Nectar slider) and they do work with Salient, but there are a few things missing that Revolution lets me do.
Let me know if you have any ideas. I will pay a fee to get this working if necessary. I’m so frustrated with the amount of time invested in this.

Hi, I keep getting this error message when trying to work on our site in wordpress:
“Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1966080 bytes) in /clientdata/zeus-dynamic-1/w/e/weddingdjbrisbane.com.au/www/wp-content/plugins/js_composer_salient/config/map.php on line 2263”
It occurs quite frequently, while doing different things – media uploads, blog posts, page edits, etc.. Is there a fix??

Hey, it seems your memory allocated to PHP is running out on your server – if you contact your hosting company they should be able to increase this for you

Hi i am creating a new portfolio page and the permalink settings is already at post name but it is showing me this:
http://www.mywebsite.com/portfolio-2and i cannot change it to http://www.mywebsite.com/portfolio
i check the rest of the pages and i do not have any existing portfolio page so i am not sure why this is happening.
also entering http://www.mywebsite.com/portfolio redirects me back to my homepage. i tried to check for 301 redirects and there is no existing 301 redirects.
any idea how to solve this? thanks!

My Nectar Slider doesn’t appear to auto play on either smart phones or iphones. It works fine from the desktop. Is there a way to put controls under the video…so viewers can stop the video from playing.
Also is there a way to put the navigation below the Slider.

1. Are you referring to the autoplaying of a video within the slider or the auto rotation of your slides?
2. This would require custom development, however you could link to your video from a button in the slider which would pop it open in a lightbox with controls (if you supplied a youtube or vimeo url)

The @media screen re-sizes have broken and are stuck on the (max-width: 1001px) setting across the board when they worked a couple of weeks back in 5.5.5.

Is it possible to change the menu links to a different color upon scroll when using transparent header + Ubermenu, on a per page basis (eg. would be added to page’s custom CSS section)?

Thanks, but a couple things:
1) This CSS doesn’t seem to work when used on the page’s CSS box, only on Salient’s general custom CSS box. I found that to be weird.
2) It removes the hover color change. Is it possible to have this ONLY affect the non-hover color and retain the existing [gold] hover color?

I’m trying to create a portfolio with 7 items, 4 on the top line and 3 on the line below. The top line is 4 items full screen, is there any way in which i can centre the 3 items on line below as they are currently left alligned and it’s doesn’t seem to work when I vertically centre the rows?

Hi, I am requesting you publish an update to Salient Visual Composer. The most recent Templatera Version 1.1.2 plugin is not operating correctly with Salient Visual Composer Version 4.3.5
When utilizing Templatera templates, upon Updating a page, portions of the non-template content are duplicated. WPBakery Support suggests a version incompatibility and suggests updating to latest version of Visual Composer which is 4.5.1 Thank you

Are you referring to each of your page links or the mobile menu button in general? I don’t see any hash based links in your nav – could you kindly elaborate more in detail specifically in an example such as noting if there’s an exact link I can click to test and what your expected section of the page would be that it would lead to?

I’m having problems with the filter by Category in my Portfolio page. When i click on a Category it crops the filter so it doesn’t show all the Categories. I then have to click on “All” in the filter or reload the page. Can you please tell me how to fix this bug?

I’ve changed the portfolio-grid from 4 columns to the full-width version.
After this change, there is a visible horizontal scroll-bar at the bottom of the page: http://www.ruudcoenen.nl/projects/
I’ve test it with different browsers, but that isnt the problem.
My guess is that it has to do with the spacing at the right side of the portfolio-items.
Do you have any idea and/or fix? Thanks
