The license that comes with the theme for revolution slider is an extended license. You cannot register the same. If you need to register, you will need to purchase a separate license of your own. Thanks.

Sorry the theme does not come with a student dashboard. Even if it supported, I am not sure if it would meet your needs since the functions that can be performed using dashboard can vary from college to college.

With taxonomy and terms specified in post snippets shortcode you will be able to filter specific category from a group of categories(Pls go through post snippets shortcode in themedocumentation.) or you can use category pages.

Here you can use post snippets shortcode or carousel shortcode . You need to include the selected posts in a particular category and use the post snippets shortcode to display the same with taxonomy and terms specified.

Not clear what you mean by changing views – I guess you are referring to change of styling. You will need to use custom CSS and customize the theme to create your own views.

Regarding the homework assignment, I am afraid you will need to build this custom functionality into the theme or to LearnDash plugin. The theme does not natively support it.

Hi LiveMesh, Thanks for your reply, but I am using Multisite environment, In multisite the file remains the same It just pulls out the header and footer from the site it is loaded from. Majority of plugins I have tried to customize the page doesn’t work when set differently on different sites. By Adding header I can get header menu as well on the login page.

Can you suggest any plugin?

Honestly I have never customized the login form and haven’t used any plugin and hence cannot really help with this. Hope you will soon find something that works for you or at least you may have to write a plugin yourself. Changing the core file is not an option, IMO.

BTW, courses are just another custom post type where you create posts and fill up the relevant metaboxes. LearnDash is a separate custom post type and has its own admin section just how it would be if you were to enable their plugin in any theme. We just ensure that the styling is coherent and ensure compatibility with the plugin.

Thanks for reporting the same. We have not seen the error so far and we have been testing this for many days and not once we saw this for a URL that is valid. All of the events pages load fine for us. May be it occurs during peak hours or when the traffic crosses a certain threshold. We just moved to a new VPS server – and a new web server too (nginx) and we are looking to resolve any issues reported. Will will try to debug the installation and report back to you on what we find.

BTW, most of hosting is on Apache webserver and things should be lot smoother there. We were on Apache too till 4-5 days ago.

Also the same issue appears at the main site http://portfoliotheme.org/ . An nginx message appears rather than the website itself. Is there an alternative way to see and evaluate your theme or should I have to wait for the problem to be fixed?

I don’t know if you proceed to troubleshooting but now I am at a different PC and I am able to access the URLs mentioned at my previous messages.

Thanks for updating us on this. Actually we could not reproduce this on any of our installations and were checking if there has been reports of this happening on nginx servers. There were some suggestions that this could be due to presence of malware. In your case, we are still not sure. Glad you did check on other PC and found it working.
