Hi: We need to deploy the mult sites ( create a wordpress main site,then add new site ). While, when we install the 7 theme, we failed to create the new site with below error. Could you help on it? The error message: “Database character encoding has changed from utf8 to utf8mb4, which adds support for a whole range of new 4-byte characters.” Our database is UTF8 format. Is this caused by any of plugin inside your theme?

It’s extremely unlikely that theme can cause such an issue simply because it does not interact with DB directly (all interaction is being held by WordPress itself). IMO in you should contact your hosting support ad resolve the issue with them.
I was regenerate size thumbnail picture. In the other theme it’s work. But why when I use The 7 it does’nt work.
I chage the size from wocommerce (menu: Woocommerce -> Settings -> Product—> Display). Can I just change it from that setting or I should change from the CSS ?

Hi, again, I have updated to Version: 2.1.5 now, and the individual team pages loads. But now, 1. the team image is not displayed on team page and also in individual team page. 2. Team page title says ” Archive:” only. 3. can’t hide the excerpt on team page.

If I set the image and hover decoration to “Grayscale” in Theme Options > Images Styling & Hovers” the logo in the footer also turns to B&W automatically. Is that normal or it’s a bug?

My client who uses this template began using PostPlanner from Facebook. This app takes the RSS feed and publishes posts in Facebook Pages.
The client says that another website (using other template) does add Featured Images from the posts in the RSS Feed. However, your template, does not.
I have tried adding plugins and it doesn’t work. I have no experience in RSS feed.

Your server is struggling to generate the page. Otherwise site receives decent page scores.
Simply install and enable page caching in plugin like W3TC – this will solve the performance issue.

Unfortunately W3TC does not help: After enabling page caching woocommerce cart starts to act really strange, I can see products that I have not added ( another user- not loged in, have added a product and I see it in my cart). I have followed all W3TC recomendations with woocommerce but still nothing. Maybe I should take care of compatibility of theme+ woocommere with W3TC? Do you have any recomendations what to do?

Many people are using The7 with RTL languages. However there are certain minor issues (like arrows facing wrong direction, etc.) that prevents us from calling it 100% RTL-compatible.

Theme is compatible with all plugins you’ve mentioned.
Demo content can be imported, except images (most of them are copyrighted), fancy menus and widget areas. Otherwise demo content that comes with theme is identical to what you see on demo.
For caching plugin we recommend either W3TC or Super Cache (we use W3TC on our demo).
Hi im currently using the7.1_v.4.4.1 and i just updated to the latest version of wordpress and there seems to be a linking issue with visual composer. I cant link PDFs to a button the message i’m getting is “URL: undefined” Is there an update for visual composer on this theme version.
It will be a massive job for me to update to the7.2 and I also tried updating the JS composer folder to the latest version of visual composer but all I seemed to get was scramble code on the page.

Hi, I just bought this theme… I want to change the template of a page ith Masonry, but in the Page Attribute I on ly have Parent and Order, but I don’t have the template option as shown in the user guide…. How can I change that ?

Oh… I found the solution… It’s impossible to change the template of an ALREADY created page, it has to be selected when the page is CREATED.

I know its very bad form to ask for ETAs, but do you guys have a general idea for when you plan on releasing the version that lets you disable some of the features and associated css/js files, thats been mentioned in the past?
We’re currently debating whether it’s worth the expense/effort of developing a child theme that tries to disable the “bloat” manually.

If you’re running 4.4.4 we recommend to update to v.4.4.11 (or wait a day or two to get v.4.4.12).
However if you want latest Composer and Addons – you’ll have to invest some time in updating to The7.2.

Yes, but not via scroll. You can either make images smaller OR goods will occupy next row and so on.

Pre-sales question … I am trying to figure out if it is possible to add custom links to each image presented in a media gallery? Or are there other means to achieve the same? I want to be able to present thumbs of images in a nice way and once clicked lead the viewer to a custom url.

That’s a pitty! But …. I do see that portfolio grids offer the ability to include links on the thumbs. I guess I could use those, however then I should be able to disable the lightbox and content links shown next to it. Is that possible?
Yes, you can achieve this using a portfolio post type.
(Though it will not be as convenient as albums: you’ll have to create an individual post for each thumbnail, where’s albums support bulk images upload).
