Hi.
http://bit.ly/YMA3zWI am not sure why I cannot get the default-sidebar to show up on the Blog pages.
It shows up fine on all the other pages of the site but not on the Blog pages.
Just to be absolutely sure, I have chosen the relevant “Sidebar” settings (Right, Default) in PAGES > BLOG
In spite of the above the sidebar is not showing up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check to see your sidebar settings in theme options > sidebar, if it is a regular page check the “Pages” section to make sure you do not have them turned off globally.

Thanx. That was it. Had to turn it on for the BLOGS section. That’s a little counter-intuitive as I would expect that sidebars would be “on” by default. Appreciate the help.

I cannot find where my support tickets are. I have 5 copies of this theme and a Theme-fusion account. I put in a support ticket over two weeks ago and received a confirmation email but no actual reply. Then, I put in a support ticket tow days ago and still no confirmation email. Is there a way in the theme fusion support center that I can check on my tickets or see if they have been answered?

With your username we only have one ticket at the moment (ticket 20217). It was created on May 20th and we replied to it on May 21st. When you log in, you should see all your open tickets in the sidebar.
Please recheck if you can see the reply now. For your second question, please create a new ticket. Once you receive confirmation email the ticket is in our queue.

Hi i have bought your theme, and was wondering how I can put the slider for the header below the top menu section.
I want the slider to be below the top menu – see website. Currently it is above which I don’t want. What code can I add to the child theme for the header.php?

Please go to Theme Options > Header > Header Content Options and find: http://prntscr.com/7cit6n Set the option to Below and it should work. If you still have issues on one page with it, there is a similar per oage option on page edit screens.

Ah ok, yes that is not possible with our options, it will take code editing to achieve, as well as testing in all cases. Header.php is the correct file, however there is probably more that is needed than that. Recent posts are pulled by date by default, just like the regular blog shows. There is however a category option that allows you to pull posts by category. But there are no options to only show posts by a specific date. That would be an interesting feature though, I’ll bring this up with our team and see if anything can be done for a future version.

Hi Pre sales question. I would really like a site that has a full page video when you go to site that starts immediately and will be an interview of me explaining some points. Can I do this with Avada and how easy is it?

You can use the Layer, Rev or Fusion Slider to have a full screen video, and it can autoplay once the page loads. It is just a matter of creating one of those sliders and adding your video to it, and setting it to autoplay. Our support team can assist you with that too after purchase.

Each single purchase ($58) allows you to use Avada on one single site, if you need it for two sites then you would need two licenses. However, if one site is only for testing then that should be fine to do, just make sure you purchase a $58 license for any finished / live site it is used on.

When I first installed Avada for the first time, and then installed the Avada Agency demo, I noticed that the following code was already plugged into my Advanced CSS settings:
#wrapper #nav ul li ul li > a,

padding: 11px 20px;
margin-top: -1px;
}
However, now I am no longer using the Avada Agency style, but am manually switching to more of the classic look. Can I delete this code? Was it specific to that particular demo? What does it do. Thx!

Is there any way to have (by default) a certain setup with layerslider at the top of all pages and posts? I’d like to have a layerslider shown above the navigation menu on all pages, except for the home page where I’ll manually place a larger slider (layerslider)
Is this possible within the settings?

There is not a global setting to apply a slider to every page, each page would need to have the slider assigned via page options. This may be something we can add in the future though.

Thanks for the reply, I managed to get a similar effect not using the slider but using custom code based on what page is shown. For whatever reason, layerslider shortcode doesn’t seem to function properly when it’s inserted in the is_page etc statement.

Currently the Arabic language files were only at 2% so we ended up removing them from our list. However you can translate the theme into any language using our default translation files. Check out the docs here that detail how to do this: https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/translations/
WPML is used to control the various languages on teh site, or for example to use a language switcher. But to translate them, check out our doc post above.

Yes, you can adjust the width of the sidebars, content area and even the total site width.
I’m really disappointed with the theme. I live in Turkey and get my hosting from Natro. I’ve bought several themes for my clients from themeforest and used them without a problem. But Avada theme is keep creating problems. I literally have no control over Avada theme.
- Theme settings dont change - Shortcodes gives error.
I wrote to support team, they said I need to talk to my service provider to increase the system limits which is new to me since none of my previous theme purchases created a problem. Also their reply time is too long.
I dont recommend the theme.

I’m sorry that you are having trouble and understand your frustration. In some cases, hosting provides configuration can come in between with features that is added to Advance themes. Your host might be blocking <script> tags which is why theme option don’t save. You can simply create a ticket with them to let them know about it.

In addition, themes with more features like Avada can require more resources, but it is not that high and is easy to adjust.
Our team is replying to your ticket now with the details, the server resources are definitely low, the suhosin.post.max_value_length is set to 10,000, only 10Kb in size.

Pre sale question:
Is it possible to use fusion builder shortcodes inside the form of “contact form 7” ? I ask because my friend who had bought avada tried it and result of it is mess with shordcode names on front-end, not structured html. So what is the correct way to design nice forms in avada?

Unfortunately, contact form 7 doesn’t support any kind of shortcodes, not just Avada shortcodes. You will have to ask plugin developer and ask him to add support for shortcodes.
For now, the only way is to use HTML or you can find a different form plugin that supports shortcodes.

I couldn’t get this theme to import demo content and neither could Avada and yet ThemeForest/Avada kept my money. I cannot recommend this theme.

Just a note, whenever demo content does not import, it is due to server limitations. To import demo content, it imports a large chunk of data onto your server, so the server resources have to be high enough to sustain it.
You will see a message when you go to import a demo, letting you know that the demo requires a certain amount of PHP configurations. https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/getting-started/requirements-for-avada/
You can also check the System Status tab and look for values in red, those will be the ones that are too low.
Either way, our team will gladly assist you in getting the demo to import so you can use Avada as the rest of our customer base does

Hello, I already submitted a ticket many weeks ago and support could not help resolve problem. System Status tab showed that theme and server were OK and server was setup/configured properly, exceeding requirements (as my server is dedicated, I can control everything on it, such as max upload size, etc… Should I still try again? If support cannot fix it how do I go about getting a refund?

Could you reply back to the ticket and let us know? When we reply with info we assume all is well unless we hear back from you on it. I found your ticket #19761 and it said you were on Avada 3.8.4, can you please verify that is correct and you are using 3.8.4?
Reply back to the email you received and it will reopen the ticket. I just checked and tried to login and verify a few things but the U/P combo you gave is no longer working. If you can reply back with the correct info, we can check it out and see why it is not importing, and get the data to import.

Ah I also just saw that you are on 3.8.3, the ticket you submitted said you were on 3.8.4. We improved the importer in 3.8.4 so please also update to that version and then try to reimport.

Hello, I successfully updated to 3.8.4 just now.. after reinstalling 3.8.3 theme a few weeks ago… I also updated all plugins… I am attempting to install demo Avada classic. I will post results soon.
Ok your theme gave me errors under system status just now… I updated PHP Max Input Vars: from 1000 to 3000 as recommended… I did that by adding this line to PHP Settings in CentOS/Plesk Panels for specific domain… (must be admin of domain, so dedicated server is recommended)... max_input_vars = 3000; I then had to update WP Memory Limit: from 128M to 256M (I put in 512M) in wp-config.php file… may also need to update this line in PHP Settings or php.ini file or in .htaccess file. Google search always helps fix this issue. Going to try importing again.
Demo failed to install… Trying alternate now.
Alternate method failed and says “Is your server on?” when trying to restore backup I uploaded via ftp… then uploading .xml returns “Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator to inform of the time the error occurred and of anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.”

Hello, it may have worked! I used backup in Theme Options and imported theme_options.txt and saved it.. Loaded menu manually and loaded homepage under reading in settings and demo seems to be working! See website in support thread Let me know if this is properly working now thank you!!

1. If I need to specify custom in the theme option/custom css, would this font apply to the whole site? Or, just only the body section (ie, not including footer, sidebar, top menu …. etc.)
2. If I need to use BuddPress, would it integrate well with the theme style? Or, do I have to modify the styling?

1. Custom fonts are only applied to headings and menus however, you can use google fonts anywhere on the site per section.
2. BuddyPress doesn’t’ have a design integration with Avada yet but we’re going to add it within the next few versions.
