After updating to Version 2, I lost a lot of my ”’partners, client, etc” posts. However, I still see the number of posts there were under the categories. When I click on the category, I can’t see any.
Could you assist with this? We lost many posts and really want to avoid creating all of them again.

If I understood you correctly, we’re talking about breadcrumbs. There’s an option to disable them both in Theme Options > Page Titles (general setting) and on every page (override).
That’s great – how can one override them on every single page? I cannot find the option for this

Do you all plan to optimize the template so you can use a cache plugin such WP Rocket or W3 Total Cache? Currently, using any of those plugins to minimize the CSS and JS breaks the templates in all browsers except Chrome. You do advertise that this theme is SEO Optimized. With that being said, it should be able to be optimized for speed, as that is a huge factor in SEO now. Also, if the template is optimized, why is most of the CSS and JS loaded in the header and not the footer?
Just asking. If you could, please let me know if you plan to do any updates for this.
I do love this template, but not being able to fully utilize cache programs is annoying.

The7 works perfectly well with W3TC (sorry, have not used “WP Rocket” yet) minification and files merging features. However with bunch of plugins like Slider Revolution and Visual Composer it naturally becomes just a bit more tricky. In Theme Options you can define font for all the site not the specific bit of code in WYSIWYG. If you absolutely need such feature please google for dedicated plugins, to enable it. Thanks!

1) is possible to set the navigation left in your theme? namely so that the submenus stay open if one clicks on the mouse? See the example: http://webspacebasis.com/example.png

1) Yes.
2) Plugins are not able to replace gallery-related features of The7. However if that plugin utilizes its own dedicated custom post type – then, most probably, it will work fine.

Ignore it sir..now my website working well after waiting for about 12 hours. It’s maybe because I uninstall W3 Total Chace and stop using CloudFlare. Can u give a best setting for using both of them to optimise my website??

1. Please, add this color picker? In my opinion, it is very bad when there is no possibility to control the transparency of colors. I not understand why Wordpress not just add these feature natively.

1. No. There already separate control for transparency in places we it is allowed.
2. This requires considerable amount of customization.
3. Yes.
4. Only MaxCDN and W3TC with only basic page caching are enabled. No CSS/JS/HTML minification whatsoever.
5. By default – no. This can be enabled in code though. But, again, you’ll have to write custom code to utilize it.
6. Yes. But we strongly recommend not to do so. What seems to be a smooth scroll on you machine will become unusable for people using trackpads and most Logitech mouses (these are only issues known to me, and only God knows how many people will experience them on their computers).
7. Only small grid of posts at this moment. I’ll pass your request regarding related posts scroller to our dev team.

Regarding the color picker, perhaps to attribute “color:” may not be helpful but all the “background-color:” there must be the ability to customize the transparency of colors.
The main reason for smoth scrolling would be the parallax effect, which in chorme are ugly (desktop) without a smooth scrolling, something that does not occur for example in firefox. It is very useful this incompatibility information for some users, although my mouse is Logitech and the nicescroll for me works well.

Hello, My galleries are not appearing when I change the slug from “dt_gallery” to “gallery” via Theme Options -> General -> Advanced -> Slugs -> Albums slug. Did tried your forum at http://support.dream-theme.com/, but not allowed to login for another user with my username. Tried password reset to no avail and as my email seem no longer to be in your database; I don’t know what the issue is, but I use to have an account at your support site. Ye need to re-save permalinks structure immediately after changing the slug. This can be done in WP-admin > Settings > Permalinks.

Currently, I’m using a custom Permalinks setting: / day / monthnum / year / postname / and it doesn’t work with that even as I retry on several occasions, following your guidelines. I’m interested in purchasing this theme for my blog, but am not sure if I’m going to be able to make the home page look the way I want. I like the look of the Demo example 4 Home page, but want a single full width picture at the top of the page (right under the navagation). I looked through some of the documentation, but didn’t see where this area could be modified. Is this possible?
