Right now the site is running on our intranet only since we don’t want to put it online as long as Chrome support is missing. Would it possible that you fix your own Soul Medic theme demo first, then tell me how you fixed it?

If that’s not possible I can create an password protected online copy of the site. I just wonder how you can fix my clients site if you can’t fix your own demo.

Hello, we did some further testing. Your theme demos sub menu is not just broken in Chrome but also in Internet Explorer. It only works with Firefox. We tested this on two more devices and on both your demo sites sub menu was broken. If you want we can create screen captures from all these machines.

We validated that we were running latest Chrome version (version number posted above) and an up to date IE version (11.0.9600.17801).

Here’s a picture from the Internet Explorer version that might help you with understanding the issue:

I’ve posted your theme demos URL to a web developer IRC channel, requesting people to test the demo. 9 more people confirmed that they had the problem in both IE and Chrome. If you really can’t reproduce it, there must be something wrong with your system, because I can’t find a single person that doesn’t have this problem with your theme demo on those browsers.

The problem even occurs inside the official windows 7 virtual machines for IE 11, distributed by Microsoft so developers can test if it works with IE:

I downloaded and installed the latest version of Chrome into that virtual machine and it had the same menu bug as all our other testing machines and users:

Just add this css code in Dashboard > Soulmedic > Integration > Custom Css and then check the submenu issue. If you still have the issue, just reduce it to 35px and have a look. Let us know if you have any issues.

That line fixes the second hierarchy submenus for full width site display but the mega menus still have the bug. And if you make the window smaller, then, when the navigation bar entries get scaled down, the bug reappears even for the second hierachy submenus. Seems the fix doesn’t take the responsive design of the theme into account.

Same problem as with the menus. The fix only works for the maximum width layout. All smaller layouts have the same problem with both mega menu and normal sub menu. At maximum size the gap is 0 pixels. At the size below it’s 1 pixel. At the size below the gap already is 14 pixels.

Very likely this is being caused by applying a fixed pixel value to a reponsive layout.

If you need help with installing the free VMWare Player so you can setup the virtual machine with the official microsoft IE testing environment to see this yourself, please contact me. I don’t mind testing this for you, but as it looks time zones only give us 1 try per day which sounds like it will be a very time intensive process to get the theme working again on Chrome and IE.

I posted the exact version numbers above, what else informations do you need?

As for my login data, you still don’t need it. The problem is happening on your own demo as you can see on the screenshots, please fix that one first, I am of course available to test your patch for the theme before you release it to public.

If you need help with setting up the official virtual machine for IE testing to reproduce the problem, I am happy to help. No matter if you use osx or windows.

Did you try the virtual machine from microsoft? I just confirmed that the theme is also broken when you load microsofts official IE testing machine for IE 11/windows 7 on a mac, using the free Virtual Box tool.

I just also tested your demo site in OSX Safari 8.05.5 (10600.5.17) and it had the same problem as w/ IE and Chrome. Then I tested your demo site with OSX Chrome 43.0.23537.123 (64bit), downloaded today, with no extensions, addons etc installed and it had the bug, too.

I am really surprised you can’t reproduce the problem, I only was able to get your official demo to run inside firefox, it was broken in every other browser, no matter the OS or machine.

We have fixed the mega menu issue and the sub menu issue in our demo site and tested it in chrome version that you mentioned and in IE 11, both are working fine. It’s fixed at maximum size, but as soon as the layout resizes to a smaller version the bug is visible again:

To reproduce the behaviour, maximize the browser window first. Then decrease the browsers window width until you see the navigation scale resize to a smaller version. Then the bug reappears.To my eyes that looks like you used a fixed distance for the sub menus while not taking into account that the navigation bars height adapts to the window size.

Yes, You cant change slider options. For ex:

1) Create home page – (English language)

2) Create another language home page – (Chinese language). If “page – (Chinese language) ” is the copy of english language page. You can only change the content of the page not options because its copy of main home page (English language). If you change options also, changes wont appear.

To overcome this you have to translate page as Independently. Then changes will works fine.

The page are “clone” with wmpl from the principal home, i understand what you say about that we can´t change options. I made a new page and rebuild all the elements, but, how can i say to wordpress that my “home-chinese” page are the chinese home? Thanks
