Hi,
My visualcomposer stopped working. When i edit text it doesn’t show me the old text and when I update the pages it does nothing. I can close the screen but it asks me if i’m sure i want to leave the page, meaning the updates i made are not saved.

This can be done in CSS. If you are familiar with it, you can use FireBug (FireFox plugin for web-developers) or Chrome web developers tools to define which style should be changed and where. Here’s an awesome screencast by WooThemes on how to use it: http://vimeo.com/20917974 .

That’s not a toggle setting, but site-general style.
Theme Options > General > Appearance. Set the “Style” to “Material design”

See that is my problem even when style is set to material design nothing changes… I have already created a ticket on this but it is unresolved.. #27393… It seems with the newest version of the7.2 the styles do not change… Can pick any of the 3 (Minimal, iOS or Material) and styling just stays the same… Does this on fresh wordpress test site install with only included plugins also… please review this ticket for me…

Also I figured out on my own how to style the GET SETTINGS areas like in the demo… can’t be done in theme options or styles… I discovered you are using a secret class… .shortcode-code and have to add to the Extra Class Name field to style the F.A.Q. toggles like that… I like the boxed in look…

Quick update. We were able to reproduce the bug. Finally. It happens when user have one of older skins (pre- material design) activated. Looks like skin settings are overwriting the theme option in this case. Update is on the way.

We’re not selling themes as set of files. We’re rather selling licenses to use them. People are installing the theme without licenses for their own risk. Because when person is failing to provide valid purchase code for his copy of theme – it can lead to numerous legal implications. Taking down the site is least unpleasant from big list of options.

Hmm. Never thought of that Have you tried putting a empty menu there?
BTW, you can use a “Micro site” page template – it has an option to disable the menu altogether.
Could I put the primary menu just on the right to the logo? now it’s under the logo!

Technically yes, but it will require significant amount of custom code (I guess you’ll beed to utilize hexagonal .svg for your backgrounds).
Or custom icons without a background (the icon itself would be a hexagonal shape) instead of font awesome icons.
We are using .SVG icons for social buttons. If you need icons for e.g. menus – then, yes, you can upload your own custom font: http://guide.dream-theme.com/the7-2/user-guide/general-guidelines/font-awesome-icons/

I have just done an auto-update for first time ie not doing full FTP transfer of files. It didnt do the update smoothly and most of my screens from version 2.1.5 to 2.1.6 are now not correct. Can you please check cdsgroup.org.uk? I have placed a copy of earlier version of 2.1.5 onto ivanbriscoe.co.uk to show that it was originally working. On reviewing status of updated theme I do see an error showing “The active theme is broken. Reverting to the default theme”. Under Broken Themes it says “Stylesheet is missing”. Can you please advise on what I should do next.

But there is one thing I do not understand: why in the teaser it is used the original image and not a “resized” one? This can slow down the page loading if the image is too big, and so it’s necessary to resize every image manually. This can also be seen from your demo: http://the7.dream-demo.com/shortcodes/5-shortcodes/teasers/ and th image is: http://the7demo.dreamthemecom.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/2x3-teaser-02.jpgWould not it be better to use the system for the thumbnail offered by wordpress?

When you resize the page to mobile view 3 columns collapses to 1. It requires bigger image to be displayed nicely. This is a tradeoff of responsiveness. On your site you can use whatever images dimensions you like to avoid unnecessary traffic.
Hi, that’s true… but there should be a limit; Sometimes it easier to upload an image and to put it in different place (because wordpress will resize it automatically) instead of upload the same image many times with different dimension.
In the teaser if this image can have maximum width of 750 px (for example), this should be the limit so wordpress can create a thumbnail with width 750px and it will not leave the original image.
You are forgetting about high DPI displays 
Again, you can upload image of whatever size you think optimal. We are not doing resizing automatically simply because different users will have different opinion on what “optimal” is.
