One thing I noticed is on the iPad there’s a glich, when I clicked to open the image bigger, the black bg on the bottom didn’t expand with it. So half the screen is black and the other half is normal.

Just a question, I would to deactivate the possibility to display “all” the work, like it the case by default. I would have display by categorie, that’s all, like that I will never have more than 20 items by categorie and wont need to use any slide or pagination.

I moved “current” to another categorie that I wanted to display when u visit page.
But it doesn’t work, when I visit my page I dont have #all in the menu or in the adressbar but I have all my items displayed.

Yes, you can. You just need to change in filterable.js in js folder the category you want to display with a line like this:

Yes, you can do it without problems, for this just locate in the HTML for reference this line:

for keeping the nav expanded you need to modify first of all custom-low.js in js folder. Here locate this lines at the bottom:

An remove them. Then you need to go to main css styles.css in css folder and change this rule or remove it:
portfolio nav ul#nav-works li{width:auto;height:auto;margin:4px 15px 0 0;font-size:1.7em;#font-size:1.5em;visibility:hidden;}
Change visibility:hidden; to visibility:visible;
With this you will have a expanded navigation/filtering bar.

Also, if you need to include a downloadable PDF /Resume you can do it where you want. A good place I think could be in the main resume at the end, for example.

Folio No. 1 has been updated to version 1.2. What’s new?
- Now the static pagination has been replaced by a convenient system of vertical slide. Now you will have all your work in the same space.
- Global filtering method. To have all your work under the same URL lets you filtering all your work without losing the filter effect.
- New item/work info display hover event smaller.
- Folio No.1 is FULL friendly with iPad.
NOTE : When you open the link you will see two options. Slide versión is the new update for the template, and static version is the older version.
Also, I want to keep the old version because for many people the solution is much more simple and totally useful for their needs.
When the new version is approved you will see the tab for the new template with a banner indicating the new improvements.

Thanks for your reply. It’s a very nice looking template and you did a great job. I want to buy but dont really want to buy the old version and then have to throw it out and start all over again when the new one is ready. It’s a very reasonable price so thats not the problem, it’s just to install something today and customize it, and then to start over new in a week or two is a lot of work to do twice. I dont mean to rush you but do you have any idea when the new version will be ready? Or maybe if I buy now, you could let me be a beta tester for the new version?

Hi- can I change the “Work Title” URL to go to an outbound link instead of calling up the photo in the lightbox, and still have the + link call up the photo in the lightbox? Also, is the folio2/1.2 version ready? And is there any chance of a drop down menu of some sort in the header for the new version? Thanks-

yes you can. Just delete the class that launch the lightbox system for the title and let the class in the plus icon. With it you can go to a external link a launch the lightbox.

Yes, you can with a iframe function like I answered you by mail. For others that would like to do something similar, please take a look to the colorbox webpage. Colorbox is the lightbox system used in this template.

First of all this is an AWESOME theme for $8. I think you are offering a lot of love for the money.
There is one tweak that I am wondering about…
Instead of clicking “theme options” panel what about the theme being randomized on each page load.. that way the site could stay fresh. I would love to design a few different skins and have them load at random when the page loads. Being able to select theme options on the lower panel isnt something I expect my users to play with. I have this vision of making 5-6 different backgrounds and corresponding css colors/formatting and each of those combos being randomized by a script.
What do you think?

I think that this you are proposing is very interesting. But this option was designed only for demonstration/custom possibilities of the template. Now I´m working hard for release a new template soon and by the moment I don´t contemplate the possibility. Sorry my friend.

I don’t see any HTML5 video support with fallback for older browsers. The video pop-ups display only Flash based videos from Vimeo. Will the template support MP4 (H.264) video files? As you know Flash is not supported on iPads/iPhones. Any updates in this matter? I would be very interested if HTML5 video with fallback support will be available.

The lightbox system lets you display any HTML5 content. Just create a HTML5 file with your video html tags with a concrete size and then go to custom.js and adjust sizes if you need it. It´s very simple!
