This theme looks very nice! and is exactly what i need 
.. but i see one thing that is keeping me from buying it…
1. The search bar results icons don’t match the post type icons.. If you can fix this, i will buy it immediately !!! ( It should be fairly simple for you ) Its important that users know weather its a video,image or an article result.. Currently it shows all as articles..
2. Is the theme compatible with visual composer?
3. Does it support self hosted videos?

It requires changes in PHP and JS. Simple… that depends, I really cant guarantee that you can do it. I will try to get this done first week of November.

I am not sure why my logo on my home page linking to a different page as my home page. I cannot find anywhere that I can link my home page logo to, as it is linking to my posted page, while my home page linking to another page.

Hi guys, unfortunately, the Shortcode-Plugin doesn’t seem to work.
I installed the plugin that was delivered with theme, but can’t see the shortcode generator in my editor. When I use a shortcode by adding it manually, it doesn’t appear in my frontend. The example page with shortcodes is working in frontend.
I’m using your current theme version, PA Shortcode Plugin is version 1.0.0., WP is 4.1.5. – what can I do to get them working? Thanks in advance

I’m interested in using your theme to provide a Knowledge Base for our customers.
We have a few very similar products that need different instructions, so I was wondering if it would be possible to use your theme to provide information that is only relevant to the product that the customer owns and hides the info for irrelevant products.
Do you think this is possible?
Thank you for your interest, It is possible but not out the box, you would need to custom code the access control. In general each category would need product ID assigned that would be checked against user purchases to allow or restrict access to the category so this is quite involved customisation. Regards, Ivan

I have a few questions about the theme:
1) Can I embed it as part of another site? I would need the theme only for the support section of it
2) Is there a way I can add rating to the articles, actually to see which one are more useful?
3) Can I display a different icon near the article if it contains a video?
4) Where are articles actually stored?

1.Not sure what you mean by embed here but: Can the theme be somehow embedded into content? No. Can the them be used on multisite? Yes
2. Not a feature so you will need third arty plugin or customise.
3. If you set the post format to video the film icon will be displayed (http://demo3.pressapps.co/knowledgepress2/knowledge-base-3/)
4. Articles are WP default posts
5. Interestingly, that plugin seams way too similar to one of our own plugin ( http://codecanyon.net/item/knowledge-base-wiki-wordpress-plugin/5758910 )

Thanks for your feedback. I prefer not to create a different site (on a different domain for my knowledge base) but possibly integrate it with my existing site (which will have a different theme), Can I use your theme along with my existing theme or shall I do something different?
I guess KB articles shall be marked differently to do this.
Does your plugin (5) do everything your theme does but works as a plugin? That could possibly be the right solution for me.

Hi
You cannot have two themes activated at the same time. Theme and plugin are different in many ways (too many to go through) but if you want to use an existing theme on your site your only option is to use a plugin for knowledge base.
I would suggest test driving back ends for plugin and theme on our demo site “Launch Demo” and perhaps seek advise from someone familiar with WP and your site requirements.

I’ve been playing around with the sandbox version of this theme and I have two questions I haven’t bee able to resolve on my own.
1. How do downloads work? I’ve tried setting up demo downloads, but the page it redirects to doesn’t by default have a download link for the attached file.
2. How do the icons work? Again, I tried setting them up via shortcodes and I couldn’t get it to work.
3. Is it possible to collapse the big splash page at the top? I’m sure it’s in the documentation, but I can’t see that before I purchase.
4. I also couldn’t find a way to remove sections from the main page (such as the “Getting Started Videos” or the “Meet the Staff” sections.

1. There are no custom download features in the theme. You can use the WP default “Add Media”, this will work just like on default theme (demo sandbox may be limiting media access)
2. Post format icons are displayed depending on which post format is set on post edit page. Icons can be added to content shortcode generator
3. Headers can be modified, if you need to hide it completely you could add custom CSS

Is your Knowledge Base plugin that you sell separately included in this theme?
No it is not, it is separate product. You dont need to purchase both products they both provide knowledge base but in different ways, please see demos and descriptions.
Thank you for the quick response. Another question. I like that visitors can leave comments on articles, but for my case I would want those comments to go to our help desk via email and not be displayed publicly on the site. Is it possible to still allow visitors to leave comments but not let other visitors read them?
No, not without customising the theme. Note, the plugin has comments disabled but can be added with a line of code.
