Hi, Im having problems installing the theme in “install theme with zip”. All I get is the error saying “Are you sure you want to do this?”. I tried installing other themes just to check if something was wrong with the installation or the settings but I have been able to install everything else Ive tried.

1. Yes, you can save posts, pages and portfolio items as page templates.
2. Yes, you can delete / disable the ones that you don’t need.
3. Although we have not tested the plugin, the plugin should be functional and you might only have to adjust few basic stylings for it.
4. Your users can access account with woocommerce but with woocommerce, there is no “profile” pages like bbpress or buddypress.

No 4. I know this, but I’m currently using a theme where all the account profile information is located in one place. BBPress, BuddyPress, and WooCommerce can all be seen when I click ‘my profile’ (same info integrated into one page).
Would I be able to use shortcodes to combine profile account information into one page?
It would be more convenient if all info could be accessible from the same page.

Hmm the theme you are using may have special integration, or is using a 3rd party plugin that is controlling all of that. We are not aware of one and have not seen that in default behavior of those plugins. I’d recommend checking with your current theme to see if its controlled in a plugin, or is a specific feature of that theme. If its in a plugin, then it can be done with Avada as long as you use that same plugin.

I’m having an issue with the menu section of the website… When I add a custom link it doesn’t save it as a link and when I had a page it’s saving as a custom link both without being a link in the navigation, but selectable text. Also, if I add another option to the navigation it won’t save as the ‘main navigation’. I’ve updated to the newest version of wordpress and the theme hoping it’d be a resolution, but it didn’t help.

With the username LoveFillies I couldn’t find any open tickets. Do you use another username? In general, you should be notified via email about a correctly created ticket and also about any replies to it.

You could use our header v4 which offers a banner area that takes up HTML, to do so. Social media links in text format are no problem. To have them in icons there would also work, but require a bit of CSS work from your side. But in general, yes such a header layout is possible with Avada.

Hey, I’m using the Person block in the page builder and I’d like to set the name of the person to be a link. It seems like it doesn’t take html for the name so how would I go about this?

Currently the fields don’t accept HTML as input. What you could do is change the markup in the shortcode itself. You would have to edit class-person.php in wp-content/plugins/fusion-core/shortcodes for this. Find this line
FusionCore_Plugin::attributes( 'person-author-wrapper' ), FusionCore_Plugin::attributes( 'person-name' ), $name,
and replace $name with a linked version of it.

You will have to edit the template file to change those strings. In the Avada main folder, please find single-avada_portfolio.php. Open it and search for the strings you want to change. Simply replace any of them inside but make sure that the surrounding quotation marks remain.

Yes this is actually a known WP bug and not theme related. You can publish it and it will show, but the preview can result in a 404 page sometimes. We’ve been waiting for the fix to come in WP core.

It seems the header height, when adjusted, also affects the logo, which is not ideal because I had to do a lot of monkeying around to get the log in the right place. I’ve tried adding/removing padding in the CSS but it doesn’t seem to help.

We use translation files for this. A Spanish translation file is already available, that translates those strings. You can find it in the full download package from ThemeForest. When you unzip the package you will find a folder called languages in the main folder. There you can get the Spanish translation.

It appears you use 100% width on the content in Theme Options > Site Width. Please make sure that Content Width and Sidebar WIdth add up to 100%. So instead of setting the content width to 100% itself, do something like this: http://d.pr/i/14W1q That will solve the issue.

ll Avadthe one set is for theme specific purposes like the shopping cart, the magnifier for search, social icons etc. The other one are the freely chooseable font awesome icons. Technically both can be “replaced” but it needs some knowledge and customization work from your side to do so.
With the regular license, you can create one website running Avada, and use that website for yourself or sell the service of creating the website to a client.
