Great theme! Good work, but I do have some pre-sale questions: This is a very modern-looking theme, but I want to use it to create a very classic and minimalistic one. Is it possible to remove the text-effects? Is it also possible to get the sub-menus to come beneath the menu items when you have clicked the one it belongs to? Are there different styles on the navigation-hovering for submenu? It get’s a little too stylish for my clients needs.

Just a suggestion.. I often come on here to find an answer to a problem I’m having, and now you just direct everyone to your support site (which NEVER has the answer) so I have to put in a support request every time. If you answered the questions on here we could just see the solution and not have to go through all that. Plus every question I’ve ever had I can find by a search in the comments here, not in your portal.

Our support policy was quite strict from day one: all support request are being handled via our support portal. Here in comments I can answer only very simple (that requires phrase or two) or pre-purchase questions. If there’s a question that requires taking a close look into customer site, or detailed guidance/explanation – I always refer people to support site. This way of handling support requests proved to be most effective and time-efficient over the years.

99,9% of people are ignoring even same questions/answers that are above their own comment

Hello – There seems to be a problem with Woocommerce and this theme. I noticed that when google tries to fetch a woocommerce page, its not rendering the products. To test – when you disable javascript on your browser, you will notice that that products don’t display. This is not great from an SEO perspective as google is not able to read the content and hence the pages appear to look contentless. It looks like it’s down to the woocommerce loop folder that the theme is overriding. When I remove it and then try to disable javascript, the products are readable as they should be. Can you please advice what I could do to fix this problem?

P.S. Nowadays Google Bot does execute the JavaScript and fetches the page content afterwards
Ok – submitted ticket. It wouldn’t be great if the user had javascript disabled. Page would not display any products. Ill await the reply from tech support

That is default blog appearance. You do not have to do anything to achieve it.
However if you want such layout on certain page you need to assign it a “Blog – list” page template.

I have had this theme for a while now, and its not worth it at all. Every time I update it the theme breaks and I need to set it all back up again. I don’t recommend this to anyone who wants to purchase it. It is just full of problems since the beginning.

Pre-sales Question: We would like to use this theme for a furniture shop. The site owner wants to use catalog mode with “add to wishlist” but no online sales. Does the theme support this function or do we need an additional plugin? Thanks.

The7 uses and industry-leading WooCommerce plugin to power its e-commerce related features. There is a feature to disable “add to cart” button in it, but I’m not sure about “add to wish-list”. You may want to research the WooCommerce addons library to find bits of functional you need.

I just bought a theme that is basically non-functional with my setup. Nginx+Google PageSpeed + HHVM. (zero plugins enabled) Will this be an issue with your theme if you know? And refund policy if it doesn’t work?

4 (a bonus one). Nginx is a server; Google PageSpeed is a tool to test site performance; and HHVM is a virtual machine. So your phrase “Nginx+Google PageSpeed + HHVM. (zero plugins enabled) ” sounds like “Theme is not working on toaster with oranges on my fridge. no coke”. It’s a nonsense.
Though I do apologize about my “Nginx+Google PageSpeed + HHVM” remark (I was not aware that Google PageSpeed can be installed as nginx module. My bad). We do not want to see people who cannot watch their language among our buyers. Please, pass by. Thank you.

We never tested theme with “lazy loading” plugins and I assume they will not play nicely with it because we’re using custom functions to output images. And if those plugins are JavaScript-only-based there’s no point in using them at all – they will only emulate the lazy loading (while page will still send requests to server).

Its a pre-sale question. I am planning to use phpBB as forum with WordPress site. For that I need to use BridgeDD or WP-United plugin to integrate both of them. Can you confirm if your theme is compatible with these plugins?

We have no testing data regarding that plugin. I can only speculate that theme will work fine with it, but will require certain amount (quite considerable, I suppose) of CSS customization, so that phpBB matches The7 stylistically.
The style matching is a entirely different issue which I am not asking here. I have checked with one of my friends website who have your theme. When we connected the phpBB with BridgeDD, there was some fatal error on the bottom of every page. And that problem was not there with other theme he has. Can you please test it with BridgeDD.
I’ll ask out guys to take a look at it, but I cannot guarantee that it will be fast.

On the bottom of every page on my website I have a “leave comment” section with a form and then it says you may use HTML tags… I tried to find the phrase “Leave comment” in the code to translate it but i failed.
