1. Side bar is still missing on Video listing page,
2. Search box still missing on Mobile Navigation on either Off-Site Canvas or Classic Dropdown

Sometimes sidebar shows sometimes not when watching a video, and Sidebar has widget TM-Related News/Videos.
Can you explain more how the TM-Related News/Videos works?

Hi, We are building a membership video site, like this one, which is build with TrueMag: http://grantcardonetv.com/powerplayers/
The goal is to sell membership subscriptions that give people access to video episodes. There will also be a free membership level.
We will also be using Membership 2 Pro.
Is there anything else that I would ahave to install to make this work, besides TrueMag and Membership 2 Pro?

Child theme should be used if you want to customize your site. You can write your own code into child theme’s style.css and functions.php files. When parent theme is updated, changes you made in child theme are kept.
You just need to install child theme like other themes and activate it

I received a response with my queries.
So I did as said:- Since Hide Headline section doesn’t really “hide” the headline section you guys said to use the following CSS code:
headline { display:none }
- Now Headline is gone but the Big Carousel or what you named Header Style and other content below moves up when Fixed Top Navigation is set to Yes and you guys say “disable Fixed top navigation”
- but I want the Top Navigation to be fixed, you can’t tell us not to use it or disable it as it is a feature that is paid with the theme to be used
Can you guys please fix this issues, I mean did you intend to make some of the theme features unusable at the end, by making us manually add hacks?

I got a response with regards to the Headline issue from this tickets #793144 and #347741.
An option to “Hide” the Headline is there on the theme but it is not working when Fixed Top Navigation is enabled. I keep saying in your support that I need Fixed Top Navigation but you keep telling me to turn it off, really?
I’ve been going back and fort with this here and in your sites support and it’s wasting too much time already. Seriously, you guys needs to fix this. Please look into the issue.
With regards to screenshots, I have provided all of them on the tickets. Please look closely on the tickets attached files.
But let me know if I can get a refund for this, as this is causing too much time wasted. If features can’t be used as provided then it would be useless.

Hello there, this theme scores 34/100 on Google PageSpeed Insight. It looks pretty fast to me, any reason why it is scoring that low? We are planning on switching to this theme and have several thousands of articles on the old setup and wonder if this is something to worry about..

Due to the complexity of a theme, the score may be low. Google has their own standard, it’s worth refering. However, it does not mean your site would be faster after following their recomendations. (Actually, True Mag has a scrore of 79)

Hello, is there any way that i can put sub categories in a main category but instead of adding posts it adds the title to the subcategory shows the number posts it contains and thumbnail is linked to subcategory.
let’s say i have a category “a” it has a subcategory “b” now instead of subcategories posts being shown in category “a” we get a thumbnail of subcategory “b” in category “a” with title, shows the number of posts and links to the subcategory “b” when someone clicks on it.
can you tell me how i can do that or you can recommend me a plugin.
In short what i want to do is have a subcategory like “Action” Drama” appear as whole one, one thumbnail in a parent category instead of all of subcategories posts being added to the parent category.

Where is the setting to only have 3 widgets in the footer instead of 4? I recently deleted a widget and only want 3 to be in the footer, but now there is an empty space where the 4th widget used to be. I even deleted all of the widgets and added 3 new ones – there is still a space.
I checked all the theme options to set the footer to 3 widgets instead of 4 and cannot find the setting anywhere – please help,

It is fixed to be 4 columns in Footer Sidebar. You need to change code in order to make it 3. In functions.php, change line 477widget col-md-3 col-sm-6 %2$s',into

Hi, I need help with PAGE LOAD TIMES. I searched and found hundreds of comments about this issue here, but not a clear answer what to do to fix it. I love your theme, but if I can’t significantly speed up the page load times, I will be forced to change themes. It can take up to 10 seconds for my homepage to load. The amount of customers I will lose because of this is not acceptable. I have other themes on the same server and they load in 2-3 seconds, so this is definitely an issue with this theme.
I keep seeing you mention that a possible solution is CDN. I’m not familiar with using CDN because I never needed it before, but thought it was basically for static images? I have no images, just youtube links that produce the still image of the video. Can you please provide a clear update on what to do about this problem? I am very confused because I have used other video themes and never had this problem so I don’t know why your theme has this issue.
Again, I think your theme has fantastic features but the incredibly slow page load issue is a big problem for me.

I have a category: Blog, where I add my normal blog posts (not videos).
I want to add a widget with “Recent Blog Posts” on the homepage, but there’s no widget for that. The widgets from TM only display videos, and the “Recent Posts” widget from Wordpress displays all the posts, including video and blog posts.
Is there a way to display only standard, non-video posts on a widget?

1. When a new post is made, please choose format (Standard) for post and your categories (Blog)
2. For Widgets: In order to get this, please go to Appearance > Widgets > drag TM Popular Video widget into Home Sidebar. Then, choose Blog at Categories parameter.

hello,, I have some ideas for the new version : 1- you must fix channel menu to show like image in mega menu 2- you must make separate categories with post for every channel ( ex. if I add new channel name A it is most write the post inside it no need to go the post in wordpress and add the video link , it will be easy to control 3- make option in channel and playlist to show all the post and then choose the post what I need inside this channel it is more better than I go to every post and edit it and choose the channel
by the way I didn’t buy this theme , but I’m using it with my friend
