1. The WooCommerce demo can be accessed from the Main Menu -> Features http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/shop/

2. The themes functionality and performance are similar. The main differences are in designs/appearances and the content area width which slightly differs from one theme to another, Newspaper’s grid width is 1164px while Newsmag’s width is 1021px. BBPress and Buddypress support is only present on Newspaper for now but we’re working to add them on Newsmag in the future updates. Other differences are also appear regarding features, some of the blocks are present on one and missing on the other. The choice depends on your needs.

It’s a different theme, not an upgrade. Newspaper and Newsmag is built on the same framework and have a commune core. When a new features is developed, that feature should be in both themes, if the design support it.

Hi, That design is in a page as you can see in the Fashion demo that page is the homepage(is not a post).

You can do that by using the Homepage post from Visual composer.

1. Create a new post and let it be in the uncategorized(to not be visible on your site), also add on that post a tag like mypromo and use a feature image that you want to have it displayed on your homepage.

2. Edit your homepage and add the Homepage post and add in Filter by tag the mypromo tag, like here: http://screencast.com/t/VxXMxymDHaZ to read the post that you have created above.

3. Now you have the post with the featured image on you homepage and to change the URL of the post, you can install this plugin Page Links To, this allow you to give on that post another link URL, just edit that post and give what URL you want http://screencast.com/t/y9BMpDTTo0E0

Done!

The theme doesn’t have implemented a feature like you want, but with this steps is something similar that you can archive, sorry for the inconvenience!

Will try this out. However.. Can you implement a layout like his in the upcoming release please. Would be a very valuable style.

Your work around works but it still displays the post name and category at the top which can b clicked. Even if clicking the post redirects to same page. Clicking the uncategorised category just groups all content in the uncategorised category. No use to me.

Need a better way for long term use.

Hi, I will add this on our suggestion list for future updates. Also you can hide some elements that you don’t need there. To hide the category tag just add this CSS in Theme Panel -> Custom CSS
