Hi, I purchased this theme some days ago. How do i include a slider on my home page like the one in the sample version. I cant seem to find the option. Thanks

First, create page with Homepage template. The slider option should be there as well as the other options for homepage.
After that don’t forget to set this page as front page from Settings > Reading > Front page displays.

How can I select from the Google Fonts you state on the theme description? When I try and select fonts in ‘Customise’ I get no options other than the default theme ones.

Font option you can access from theme > Customize > Fonts. There should be 3 font group (Global, Heading, Menu) which is has google font list options that you can choose. Please follow detail instructions here: http://support.jegtheme.com/documentation/falive-customizer-fonts/

Okay and a second about the galery. I make a galery in the post and take the Diashow Option, but it doesnt work. The Pictures are next to the other and not like a Diashow. Could it be that i must make any adjustments? Thanks

This theme is translation ready, you utilise plugins such as codestyling or loco translate to translate the theme. If you need multi-language feature, you might try using WPML plugin. But, we haven’t test this theme with WPML yet.
About Diashow Option, I’m not quite sure that is from our theme. Perhaps you use other 3rd party plugins?

The carousel under the slideshow doesn’t show up on the website despite me having it enabled in the page settings. Also, why is there no button for read more under the articles when the display is set to masonry. On the homepage at this website … travelcoterie.com … the text under “An Idiot’s Guide to Joshua Tree,” just goes on and on and on and on. Thanks.

Please be sure to install the required plugins especially “WordPress Popular Posts”, read more here: http://support.jegtheme.com/documentation/falive-required-plugins/ When it installed and you have enabled the “Show Popular Posts” option on homepage, it will need traffic to your posts to generate popular posts data.
Actually, the read more button only for Normal layout. To enable read more button please go to Falive Dashboard > Archive Settings > Show Readmore Button.

Is there a way to use standard embed codes in this theme? We’re uploading all of our videos using the JW Player platform and adding a standard embed code doesn’t work. We’ve had success using a video url for like youtube but when it comes to JW this isn’t a possibility so just seeing if there is a way to use JW players inside of this theme other than just embedding the video inside of the body?

I’ve deactivated plugins. It seems to be a social sharing feature maybe built into the theme? But only for LINKEDIN. Is there a way for me to remove the Linkedin sharing button? Maybe that will clear it up?
i removed the LINKEDIN sharing , from the socialshare.php file and everything looks great now. Something was wrong with that bit of code…

Actually, wordpress.com is a bit different with self hosted WP (wordpress.org). The wp.org doesn’t have those portfolio feature by default and this theme neither.
You will need Jetpack plugin to get features like you get on wp.com, but this theme has not been tested with that plugins.

Always been using Adobe Muse to design my websites, trying to built my first Wordpress site with the Falive theme, must say the dummy data is pretty helpful. Is there a way to get rid of the sidebar space in the post section so my post will center in the middle?
B.t.w the recommended plugins WP retina x2 and Pinterest Widgets can’t be activated. Wordpress tells me they will cause a fatal crash and can’t be activated.

Thank you for using Falive. You can hide sidebar on post by setting it from Falive Dashboard > Post Settings > Show Sidebar; set this option to “OFF”.

I’m looking at downloading a theme, but have to reupload it as a .zip file, is that possible? Also, will I lose my content if I change my current blog seeing as this is not a wordpress owned theme?
Yes its possible. do you mean that you are using different kind of CMS like jomla / drupal previously? i think you can do some kind of import / export content if you using another kind of CMS to WordPress.

Got it. It worked. Thanks. One more question…. Is there away to fix the size of the trending post images? Some resize the featured image to different sizes, causing the scroll in the bottom of the home page to vary in sizes.

Are those image uploaded before you install Falive? You may need to regenerate the thumbnails. You can utilise plugin: Regenerate Thumbnails or AJAX Thumbnail Rebuild.
I checked the database there is no “vanniaenriquez” username registered yet. Yes, that’s correct register page. Can you please send screenshot of the error message when register?
