When I uploaded the theme via WordPress uploader – it gave me this error message ‘The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet’. I am using Wordpress via my web hosting provider. Please help.

Can you explain more with examples to understand you better?

For example: When I go to “about us”, the content is displayed within a frame with a background image. Only this context can scroll, not the entire page. I think it would be great if there was a way to scroll the entire page.

If the template is updated, do we have to redownload and replace the current files we have in the server? Would that affect our changes?

Yes, you will have to redownload & replace the files. if you changed something in the code then these changes will be lost, if the changes are just in the data, then there won’t be a problem.
