Hi I have used your themes in the past and overall they’re great one issue I’m having repeatedly is the styles in theme options not saving. also custom CSS not saving. any thoughts? I have checked permissions on the folders and its not that.
OK small update if I make a change to the CSS either in options or custom, but then save a page else where it updates. does tabbing affect this?

We can recommend you to delete the files from assets\css folder and after that just refresh the website in browser (previously, save them somewhere on your PC for a backup, just in case). The files have to be compiled once again and the styles have to be applied properly.

Hi, I have updated to the latest but I still cannot make the header dark, i cannot make it any colour other than white no matter what i do. is there something that I am missing as I have been trying to do this since your first release but to no evail no matter what i change it simply stays the same, it is not a cache issue as has been a very long time now and it simply stays white. Staying white limits what I can do in styling which is a royal pain. What can i do to make it change color when I have changed it in the settings, even transparency does not work.

HI I have a couple of questions :
1) Is the VC version the commercial one or a customized one for the theme?
2) Is the front end functionality of VC enabled?
3) Do I need VC and RS to set the site up? I really don’t want to use them; sliders make the site slow and VC leaves behind kilometers of lines of code even when uninstalled.

As for your questions:
1. We use the commercial version of VC with some customizations to provide full theme functionality. We added some options to basic VC elements such as row, column, single image module. Some of the elements we didn’t customize are hidden by default but they can be enabled from theme options.
2. The front end editor is disableb at the moment. We are working on front end functionality right now. It will be availabled as soon as we finish.
3. You can use theme without RS if you don’t need slider on your site and there is a possibility to use theme without VC if you need only blog and portfolio for your site but you won’t be able to create layouts like we have on our demo without VC.
4. We didn’t optimize main demo page to make it look better. Here is a result for the first demo and the eleventh for example.

When you say you use the commercial version of VC you mean that it will automatically update every time they release a new version? I know that when VC is integrated within themes it never automatically updates and WP dashboard constantly reminds you you have 1 plugin to update…
Is there a time frame for the front end editor to be available?
Do I have to download the demos or can I just create my own site/layout?

The automatical update is disabled from theme because we are not the developers of the plugin and we cannot provide purchase license for a third party plugin. There are no notifications in admin area about plugin update. Nevertheless we always provide the latest plugin’s version in theme updates and on users’ request as far as we provide this plugin as theme part on extended license.
As for the frontend editor, I don’t think it will be available within next month, we still have a lot of job with it.
And about demo content, you don’t need to install any of our demos if you don’t need any. You can simply install theme and build the page you want.

One problem, When using header type 4 and assigning menu to the left and right in wordpress. When having a one page scroll site sometimes two of the menu items get shown as current-menu-ancestor (the border around the menu item)

Hi guys, It’s been a while. I have a quick question for you. In the top address panel on the site. It shows phone number and email address (left) then on the far right it shows the social Icons. Is there a way for me to remove the social icons from there and create a student login button that will go to a log-in page when clicked?

Yes, you can disable social icons in the Top Panel in Theme Options > Header Options > Header style (you’re using) > Show social icons in header.
There’s no option to add login form to the Top Panel, but we can add it custom for you. Just mail us your wp and FTP access details to dynamicframeworks@gmail.com and the Header style you’d like to modify. We’ll do our best to help.

Sorry, it’s a bit confusing – the first line in change log says
30-07-15 V 1.0.4
The previous update also says
20-07-15 V 1.0.4
They both seem to be the same version? What is the new version? 1.0.4 as well?
My theme is Version: 1.0.4 but (even though envato tookit is configured) it doesn’t show that the update is need. So how do I know if I’m running the latest version if the one on the change log from 20-07-15 also says V 1.0.4

Hey DFD, just installed WP and imported your in$ane theme, installed ‘traditional’ demo content (such cool setup you have/super easy and amazing images your provide w demos) and all the images uploaded to media but I don’t see any pages or menu(s)... what else do I do to get those imported? The menu is included to the Main Demo Content, that can also be installed in Appearance > Installer Panel.
Please, note, that some of the menu elements link to our demo site, as far as different demos are located on different subdomains.

AMAZING THEME!! so for menu, you import one of the 20/30 demo selects, then also ‘Import Main Content’ button above? If this is correct (the second step) and I do this now will it override what I’ve already created? Also you had mentioned before I bought the theme you could assist with getting parallax working on mobile (my fav element in web design is parallax that works smooth on mobile, I know it’s rare but incredible to have) Do I got to support forum for this, or contact box…? Every new demo you install will be appended to the existing content on your site. You are absolutely right, you have to install main demo content to get menu installed. Don’t worry, it will not overwrite the existing data but if you have a live site it will be better to backup the database and media gallery before demo installation (just for any case). As for the parallax on mobile devices, please mail us to dynamicframeworks@gmail.com and we’ll enable it for you.

You can import theme content in Appearance > Installer Panel admin section. Posts, portfolios, additional pages (Contacts, about us, blog and portfolio) and menu cam be imported with the Main Demo Content. All the Layouts are imported one by one.

You can add any icon you need to use as an indicator to scroll down. You can check our demo layouts, like Slider scroll effect with icon on the slider.
