I have WP installed to /blog (I have a separate installation for the domain). Is there anyway I can use your homepage theme without having to add on to /blog? I want the blog homepage (template) to be located at /blog, not /blog/something-else.
hi abitcoquettish, yes you can. go to your admin panel > setting > reading > Front page displays > choose static page > and choose your front page you want to use.

Falive Plugin, JPlugin, Jegtheme Subscriber, Vafpress Post Foramts UI
The message I get for all four is: “Download failed. A valid URL was not provided.”

hi abitcoquettish, are you using child themes? if that so, please disable your child themes first, and try to install plugin from parent themes.
but if you are not using child themes, please check if in this folder contain zip file of plugin.
falive themes folder > plugin > (location of all plugin should saved)
or you can also try to download it from themeforest . and reinstall it again.

hi basileviault, popular post populate your highest traffic post on your website. so if you just install the themes, and you doesn’t have popular post, its normal. because it will need traffic to your website (post) before it able to calculate which post need to place right there.

Hi, me again. I have a question about the new update from today. I install the plugin Envato Tookkit and have the API Code. When i go to automaticully update comes a warning: updating this theme will lose any customizations you have made. That is not what i want, what can i do? thx

If you do customization of theme’s file (modify php, css or js file), you will loose it when you update theme.
But it is safe to update if you do customization on child theme or if you just tailor the theme options / page settings.

To change that text you need to edit the translation file. You can utilise plugins such as codestyling or loco translate to edit text direct from WP Admin.

3. This plugin will need traffic on your website to be build after you install those plugin. try to click several random page. and it will count how many click you get per post, and rank it base on number of its click.

Actually this theme already has Pinterest widget support, as you can see on our demo we use “Pinterest Board Widget”. By using these Pinterest widget you don’t need to generate your own, just tailor the widget option.

Few questions I would like to throw out:
- How and where can I adjust the font size on each different parts? - I am now using the BOXED layout, with no sidebar option. Is it possible to adjust the slider and featured image’s size? and the layout size? - Can I adjust and not to see any feature image inside post page? So that single image won’t show up twin in one post page.

This theme has no option to customize font-size or those kind of detailed element styling. You may need add custom css to achieve it.
For featured image, I’m not sure double image you refers to, do you insert the same image as featured images on your post content? Why dont just remove the featured images then?

hi gnumber4, do your previous themes set first image as featured image? this method is actually not very right. because featured image that the one that become featured image. not first image on your post. that is why i believe you should delete your first image on your post instead.

Been trying hard to sort this problem out but failed. Before I use this theme I never applied featured image options, and now I even deleted the pulgin from the theme too. I tried to click “Removed feature image” on each single post but it still appears same double first image. Is there a default underlay code inside the theme? Would you be able to provide a solution for this?

This theme only fetch featured image, so if you remove the featured image it should not displayed. Perhaps, the featured image setup from 3rd party plugin?

You can turn off the trending post section from homepage template (edit page), there is “Show Popular Posts” inside “Popular Post Options”. The slider options is customize on homepage template as well, there is Advanced Slider Options to tailor the slider behavior.

I am having issues with getting the social icons to save any updated links. I cannot personalize the YouTube link at all and when I try to add any new ones or edit current ones and click save, it refreshes to the general page and leaves the social icon page without saving. I also cannot open the “support” tab.

I see your site use 3rd party plugins (flexslider) which is caused that issue, because it loads the plugins styles instead of theme. To fix it you may disable those plugins or use this temporary fix with css:.highlightslider .flex-direction-nav a:before { text-indent: 0; }
