Hi, i added some releases and added the soundcloud link ( i did not upload mp3 files, just the links ) – the music player is there and recognizes the song but it’s not playing at all, even if i add the songs to the playlist or whatever, why?
+ is there any possibility i add youtube to my social profiles?
The playlist requires to upload the mp3, cannot reproduce soundcloud or youtube. The embedded players will be shown only in the single release preview. In the social profiles there is the youtube icon too.
Is after whatpeopleplay and before soundcloud
Thanks – i got another question – where can i change the title for “Podcasts” – even when i change the module name, the word podcasts still pops up here and there, is there any way to change it to i.e. Music Videos?
archive.php is all there. Make a copy in the child theme so is update-proof 
copied it to vice-child (yes i’m using vice-child as the my active theme) and changed podcast and podcasts to music video and music videos in archive.php – unfortunately it still says podcasts in the right menu
That one that you changed is the title of the archive pages, as right menu I don’t really understand what you mean

Hi there, quick question. Is there a purpose to the “Social Links” along the top, and the social links section and fields in the customize panel? They don’t display along the top of the theme. Also, artist social links fields are there, but don’t display anywhere. I’m wondering if this is a bug, or a feature that’s added but just not finished yet? Thanks!
I do see the social links in the modular “featured artists” section which is great. Are you planning to also display them on the full artist page in the future? Thanks again!

Hi, in the top right corner that’s a SHARING function Not link to social! The icon you click to open that means “share” and when you click them the sharing popup opens. That’s it is no social link, a completely different thing much more useful

I recently emailed your support to ask the following. I really like the theme and think it works great however there are two things that I can’t seem to fix and could use your help on. My website is www.richpilkington.com for your reference.
1) The website looks good in landscape, on a computer, latop, iPad etc, however in portrait on an iPhone and iPad the background image gets cropped. Is there a way to allow the background image to be scaled for portrait so that it looks as good as landscape?
2) The ‘artist releases’ section (retitled ‘Music’ on my website) looks great again in portrait with the album covers, however in portrait, on an iPhone, there are no image covers and the formatting seems to screw up and not look very good.
Please could you assist me with these problems.

Hi, 1) for sure image get cropped, it has to fit with the screen otherwise you’ll have holes on top and bottom part. You can anyway add your own css to change the background behaveior. 2) There was no space in many devices to show these pics
Hi there, I have a small issue to report. When the sidebar is disabled in the customize panel, the #mainsidebar div (green background) still appears on new standard pages. Is this by design, or is it a bug?
I also have a feature request. I would love to see better WooCommerce integration with Vice, a la the “Sura” theme, which is quite seamless. It’s the one aspect that would really put Vice ahead of the rest.

Also, with the installed current demo content, full width pages show the sidebar header, even with sidebar disabled, and all right sidebar widgets removed. I’ve done 2 clean installations to test and can verify this.
Additionally, if you create a new page and switch the Page Attributes -> Template dropdown selection to “Full Width”, the page won’t load at all, you just get the ajax loader spinning endlessly.
Hi, in the demo content there is only a wrong setting of the page which doesn’t have the full width template. Full width template doesn’t have the sidebar: if you open the template page you see that there is phisically nbo sidebar. Go in edit of the page and choose the full width template,the sidebar should disappear:

I had to copy over the standard page php code to overwrite the fullwidth template, and then edit it using the editor to get a full width page working (not a big deal).
Also, regarding my WC feature request – I was able to get deeper integration with WooCommerce using WC shortcodes on the releases pages, which works quite well (just a note for anyone needing those features).

Hi, you were right, I tried to answer you before but I had some bug in the forum with my connection maybe. There was a small bug in the full width template that has been introduced in prev. version of the theme for a wrong variable sanitarization. The bug was fixed after your message and the new version has been already uploaded and is now available from themeforest. In the changelog you’ll see the files that has been changed by now fto fix it. Thanks and apologies for the bug!

Hey there, tight theme. Presale question here. It appears that your background doesn’t behave as expected on some of the pages where scrolling is necessary. Are you aware, has it been resolved?

I’m sorry the shop icon is in thousand places, was fixed everywhere but not in the release page, where it was almost fixed but missing a line of code to work properly.
New theme versions have the issue fixed already so you’ll never fight with this again

Hello, we identified the issue caused by the new version of the YT api, which needed a different URL structure. Now all the video issues are solved and we are uploading the new version of the theme. It will require few hours to be approved on Themeforest, after you can download it for free even if you already purchased it.

Hi, you need to add the mp3 to have the track in the site player, if you just add the youtube or soundcloud the music works only in the release page or when you click “playlist” from the One Page layout.

does this theme allow for radionomy streams including the meta data (display of artist, track, etc)? the on air theme doesn’t play non stop continuous audio across page navigation so that theme doesn’t work for me but this one might. Thanks
hi, you can use an ajax plugin on the on air. This one will have a plugin for radios soon but not before a month and doesn’t support shows schedule and other things specific for radios.
Hi, I am in the process of installing this theme. I have a quick question, would there be any possible way to setup VBulletin inside this theme? Or what about another forum software? I have a VBulletin license and want to be able to embed it into the theme so it matches the theme as well. Is there a way to do this? Thanks for any help I can get with this!
I saw people who installed vbulletin or bbpress, you just need to make few css fixes or correctly set the design options in the blogging plugin.
To obtain a more integrated solution you can add your templates in the theme, and your own css code. But doesn’t require a lot of work, just one hour maybe.
What is the best image size for both simple slider and revolution slider?

Hi again, if I decide to use revolution slider, can you tell me the right size in pixels for the full screen slider please.
if it is fullscreen, it means that adapt to every screen. For a phone like for a tablet or desktop, and any size is different. So the suggestion is to use a big resolution like 1600 by 900 which will fit nice in any device, but compress it good using photoshop or something like that.
