Hi there, Wonderful theme! One pre-purchase question, for the portfolio single item, is it possible to add a link to portfolio categories that would link to a page portraying all the projects of that category?

First of all thanks for your interest. 
With Osmosis Theme, you have the ability to have multiple portfolio items and connect them to multiple categories. If I have understood well, what you seek cannot be done automatically.Having said that, you can easily accomplish that via a creation of pages of single categories that you could link them with buttons in a given single portfolio item.Hope I made sense.

I bought this theme for the company i founded myself. Since i really love osmosis, i’d also like to use it for the company i work for as an employee. Can i use the Osmosis Theme download i already used for my own site, or should i but Osmosis again for the for my employer?

Thanks for using Osmosis and for your comment . As you can read here http://themeforest.net/licenses/standard , you need one licence for each single end product. Last but not least, notice that Envato handles the licences so if you need more information you have to contact Envato’s support.

Hi, I am interested in purchasing your theme however is it easy to add a simple search box in the middle of a page? In the demo it looks like the user has to click on a sidebar which pops up a modal search however I just want a straight forward search box in the middle of the content.
So for example in the demo homepage, there is a slider with several images and text on top. Is it possible to have a large search box in the middle as well as the accompanying text?

Yes, you are able to have a straight forward search box if you use the widgetised element via the Visual Composer where you can place the search widget. See the screenshot to have an idea http://prntscr.com/8dkev1 . However, you are not able to place it on the top of the embedded Osmosis slider, but you can have a background image in the row where the search field exists.

Osmosis does not use any loader, the loading animation you see in the home page has to do with the iframe bar at the top of the site. It’s not a built-in theme option. Hope this makes sense.

Both of them are valid. Single portfolio items are custom post types and you need to use the Portfolio Element (via the VC) to create the portfolio overviews (grid, masonry with multiple options). So, you can easily duplicate a portfolio overview page with the Visual Composer.

Osmosis is using its own hand-crafted elements ( grid, masonry etc) and does not provide style for the Grid elements of the Visual Composer. However, our support team could guide you on how to enable the Grid elements if you open a ticket in our Support Forum since we do not provide support in the comments area.

We’re interested in purchasing Osmosis but need to confirm if it works with a particular plugin. Has Osmosis been tested with the User Profiles Made Easy plugin (UPME)? If not, are any buyers using UPME successfully with Osmosis?

TBH, we have not used the above-mentioned plugin, nor we know of any customers of ours that use it. On the other hand, Osmosis is a premium theme, built as such not to violate any WordPress rules. This means that it has no problem whatsoever with any top plugin in terms of functionality.Even if there is a conflict, we are here to fix it.The only issues you may have will be CSS related.

Hi again! You can enable the grid element of the Visual Composer, but we don’t provide style for these elements as Osmosis uses its own handcrafted elements. Do you mean that you need to change the grid container? If so, you have to make it with CSS. Hope that helps you more!
