I am having trouble installing this theme. I have used GoDaddy to set up hosting and used GoDaddys App to install WordPress for me. Then I have tried both installing the zipped ‘u-design’ folder (not the downloaded one, the folder within the zip), which crashed and threw a 500 Internal Server Error. Then also accessing the folder via FTP I have uploaded the entire unzipped folder to /wp-content/themes/ (the same way I have successfully uploaded other themes), which works, even shows up in my themes. Until I activate it, then I get the same 500 Internal Server Error. This is not my first time using wordpress and I have installed other themes successfully both ways. What might I be missing? Please help. Thank you.

Using the included Essential Grid plugin with theme will let you design your own gallery layout any way you want otherwise to modify the theme’s default portfolio to suits your project you’ll have to customize it with CSS/HTML.

For some reason I am not getting the most recent update for revolution slider.. can you help me out fixing the newest version? Its currently still on 4.6.93 and the people of revolution slider told me 5.0.4 is the latest version

4.6.93 is the last stable release that the theme support, 5.0+ has a lot of changes and I need to make sure the theme is fully compatible before including it with the theme so just hang on a few more days, I’ll be releasing and update next week. Plus Revolution slider plugin folks are still debugging that new version a log, I noticed just in the last few days they released 4 updates full of bug fixes, so it’s best to wait a few more days until the new release becomes more stable.

I’ve bought your U-design theme a while ago and I rally enjoy it. I want to make use of it on other of my websites. Can I buy 2 or 3 more copies at the regular price and install them on my other websites? How will I know which copy goes with which domain name? Buying the extended license is too expensive for what I will be using it for.

“1 ) Yes, you can do that. You see, many of the theme’s elements including the main menu are added via the theme’s own hooks/filters API which means that you can un-hook it at anytime and move it or apply some programming logic, for example to show it only on specific pages, etc. and the beauty of using the theme’s hooks/filters API is that you can do that from a “child” theme which means that your customizations will be safe with future updates of the “parent” theme

We just purchased your theme and attempted to upload it to our site today but got the following message:

The file you are trying upload was rejected by the server. Probably contains viruses or Trojans that may harm your website.
Do not attempt to upload it again as your IP address will be blocked.
Is this normal? How are we able to upload this theme? Is it a server issue?

It is strange that you’re getting this message, obviously the theme doesn’t contain a virus or a trojan, there are thousands of other users on various hosting providers using the theme and you’re the first to report this, so I’m just guessing your hosting has some weird security settings, you should contact them.

I just bought this theme yesterday and regret purchasing it. The demo content creates all sorts of problems, not to mention a problem with the rev slider uploads as well as the page builder. Even more confusing though, is how you structure the homepage as a combination of content and widgets. I’ve sent in a support ticket, searched high and low on the discussions, and nothing addresses my issues.

Just an FYI for anyone reading this, I spoke too soon on my initial comment (I wish I could actually remove this thread). They stepped in and gave me tech support like nothing I’ve seen before with any other theme maker. These guys really support their product and their customers with great effort and integrity!!!
