hi,
i purchased two different popular calendar plugins (“The Events Calendar” and “WP Pro Event Calendar”) but both don’t work with your theme – both show the same issue 
in both the plugins the “add new event” button does not show in the wordpress backend. i tested both the plugins with other themes and there they work very well. i deactivated all the other plugins in the brooklyn theme to avoid a possible conflict but it did not help 
reply of one of the plugin creators: ”...your Brooklyn theme is unfortunately the source of the problem here…”
any help pls?

I just have one minor question: 1. On the image slider, will the images we add be the exact size on the slider? Reason I am asking is because I am seeing some sliders where no matter the size of the image, it stretches the image to not look like the real image…I am wanting the image to look exactly like the file I uploaded. Is there an exact size?

I’m afraid that the slider does not fit the requirement in this case because it’s using background size cover. Means the image always covers the background and depending on the current visitor screen resolution it might happen, that the aspect ratio of the image does not allow a proper display. As a result a part of the image might be hidden.

hi! I have questions! 1. I want to show categories in portfolio section. and I watched it is possible in demo versions. but I wasn’t able to seek where the setting is. where is the setting? 2. I want to use video background and I did it. but you support only one video.. right? I know actually Not only one. you support videos in each pages. but in my case, the video area is fixed, contents are scrolled. and I want to use 5 videos that should be played in random. is it possible? if you don’t support this, Please tell me other ways such as plugins or editing php code….T.T

you can change the logo inside the Theme Options Panel under “Appearance” -> “Theme Options” -> “Advanced” -> “Manage Preloader”.

Yes i found it. I had a problems a little bit with finding it coz the admin just crashed or something went wrong but as of now is perfect. Great job with the theme. Very powerful and easy to manage.
But i have another question. Can i add in the theme multy language support. I want ti be translated in 2 or more languages. Can you recommend me some plugin which will work good with the theme if its possible. Thanks you very much

I have a problem with the comments in the blog section. After the blog there is no comment form and i carefully check the comment settings in wordpress. So they are allowed the way i want but still no comment form. I even try with another plugin but still the same.

maybe someone can at least explain how to update the ‘Front Page’. it appears the original demo data is still there. http://www.soulspearfishing.com/
however, i cannot find that content in the Front Page or any other pages that are in the dashboard. some of the front page has been updated using the theme options. but again, I can’t seem to understand how to update the ‘team’ or ‘service’ or ‘price’ information.

Yes. I did that.
However, my customer does not have the key. It was purchased by the previous webmaster. My customer cannot get a response from his former webmaster. Hence, his need in hiring me to make changes to his site.
But I can’t seem to figure out how to make the simple changes to the front page. It is not obvious in the dashboard how to update content on the one-page front page.

as written before, we need to verify you as a valid customer. If the previous designer does not handle out the license, your customer does not own one and that’s the issue you currently have, you are using the theme without a valid license. So you should get sorted this out and afterwards we are more than happy to support you with the theme.

I’m interested in this theme for my next client. The problem I am seeing is that with DEMO #7 (the only one I want to use), is with the rain effect ON, the page loads and the background image is NOT loading centered.
I’m using firebug on firefox and inspect elements on Chrome, when I block the rain effect, and resize the screen the background the image stays centered as expected.
I do NOT want to buy this theme if background image is not centered while rain effect is on.. can this be done via your theme settings. I ask because if it CANNOT be done I would want refund, IF you tell me yes it can be done.. but it doesn’t work after I buy this.

What do you mean? When you are looking at demo #7 and after the page renders when you resize your screen the image is NOT centered and NOT responsive..

to understand why browser resizing does not show the mentioned effect, you need to understand the technique behind the effect. We are using a canvas layer ( which is not responsive ). But this canvas layer gets rendered correctly when the site is called on a specific resolution. So browser resizing does not show the result but calling the site does.

What you explained is not what the theme is doing. Demo #7 If I minimize my browser to the size of a tablet, and do a hard refresh, the background image is NOT centered.

we will wait a few days until we update the plugin. Version 5.0 is a huge update and some customers seem to experience some troubles with it. As you can see, there already was an update due to issues with the slider today. So it’s better to wait in order to prevent unwanted troubles.

Too bad. Its a very long process to completely translate a template like yours. You should ask people to volounter to do it for you in exchange for your theme. All the Major themes here on ThemeForest do supply po and mo files with different language version. Again, too bad you don’t supply these.

Hi Guys… We have been using this theme happily for over a year now, but for some reason we can longer get any contact form plugins to work with it.
